Place is quirky and interesting. Food was very very good. Fried chicken breast was small so perhaps give larger ones or give two pieces but overall delicious. and the donuts were fantastic
Brunch was amazing! Unlimited mimosas were awesome especially with the different juice options. The food was great and restaurant was chic.
If you like to waiting an hour for a lukewarm cubano and cold French fries, this is the place for you.
We sat down and we're ignored for 21 minutes. No water, no nothing so we left. Seems to be a common complaint here.
This restaurant was recommended to me for brunch. I believe this was our mistake to go there for dinner. Our server described the dinner menu as a "underdog" as the place has been voted #1 for brunch in Miami. The entrees were unremarkable and my charred octopus , see below, does not have a trace of charred. The best dish was the dessert, their signature ricotta cheese doughnuts . Absolutely delicious and fresh! When we visit Miami next time, we would definitely try brunch there.
Had a reservation, waited for over 60 minutes once we ordered our food. When food arrived it was just okay. The 19% tip included also doesn’t help the server’s attention.
Waited for roughly 25 minutes with no water, utensils, or waiter; the hostess had to take the order. Food was sub par, environment was noisy but fine, and the drinks were good but overpriced. It’s very easy to spend $100 for lunch for a sub-$60 experience. A set gratuity of around 19% really is disappointing considering the awful service we received.
Food was great but it took 20 minutes to get drinks and the server barely came back. The manager was accommodating later on. Very noisy and overpriced unless you stay the 3 hours for bottomless mimosas.
I have been curious about The Social Club for months. We finally made it and were surprised by a $35 valet parking charge. Server was friendly and pleasant and food was good but we were not impressed. The atmosphere was a bit loud with transient bar traffic. The best part of the meal was the dessert with fresh powdered doughnuts with dulce the leche dipping sauce. If the restaurant wants traffic, they need to make better parking arrangements, especially if you are not a hotel guest.
The place is absolutely adorable, and the service was not bad. I had the seafood paella which tasted super weird to me, I didn't enjoy it and did not think it was worth the cost but seafood is expensive of course. I would definitely go back! I would order something different though.
Amazing brunch and the bottomless mimosas are absolutely the best in the world. We love it here!!!
It was perfect! The environment was loud, but I enjoyed it!! The service was great and the food was on point!!!
Excellent service and great food! Andreas was a fantastic bar tender!
We arrived with a reservation and waited at a table for 30 minutes before even receiving water. After the waiter promised the service would be faster moving forward, we waited another 20 minutes for our cocktails. The staff tried to make it up to us with French fries and watered down shots but all and all, I would not recommend this place.
The waiter was amazing so friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back!
The food was quite good but the service was strange and the way the dining room is situated one feels like you are off to the side of the lobby not in a restaurant. It’s best for grabbing a drink and a bite—not a place for dinner. Service was extremely slow even though there was only one other table. That made us feel like we didn’t really want to stay. We did and the food enjoyable.
I visited with two friends on a visit to Miami. We were called there by the bottomless mimosas which were excellent. The food was very good - we got the carrot cake waffles, Cubano, and breakfast sandwich. We shared them and enjoyed them all. Our waiter, Kevin, was a hoot! Go there!
We arrived and the waiter guides us to our table of choice and was all the time very pleasant and polite. Made a few suggestions on the menu, we ended up choosing the Breakfast Sandwich because of all the reviews read about it! We did not regret it was indeed very tasty, a good choice for a out of the ordinary breakfast!
Bottomless mimosas were great!
Loved this casual, hip, breakfast spot. I highly recommend the ricotta doughnuts and don't forget the bottomless mimosas! The café con leche was a highlight too. Try to get an outdoor table - great for people-watching along Collins Ave.
Outdoor seating for brunch is very nice
Great birthday donuts. Cute place & good food.
The food and service were really good, but the menu is very small and, annoyingly, they were out of several things. So, basically we had very few choices. Location and space are totally fine.
Food was good. Service was excellent! Very attentive!
We went on a Monday night and were seated right away. Or server, Alex, was vey attentive and had great suggestions as to the drink and food menu.
The food! We had the braised brisket sliders and the fried chicken with greens. DELICIOUS! Getting a chicken breast that size to stay tender and moist is not easy and this was cooked perfectly.
It was my friends birthday and they brought out the dessert with a sparkler and no fan fare... perfect... it was a great experience. Definitely coming back.
We waited an hour to get our food (as did most people around us) and it seems since the 19% gratuity is automatically included, that no one cared to actually make an effort to apologize for it. They said sorry but no one, not the waitress, bus staff or manager herself, offered a mimosa on the house or any consolation.. I would not go back and nor should you.
Okay, the poor reviews are wrong, let’s start there. Our waiter, David, was friendly and on top of it. Food and drinks were timely. The apple salad, Mac n Cheese, were great. My husband’s short rib was amazing! The menu selection is limited, but there were delicious options for meat eaters and vegetarians. Doughnuts for dessert were tasty. We even got a glass of prosecco to celebrate our anniversary. Overall, great experience. The music was a little loud, but it was okay. We would go back.
Outstanding service and fantastic food. We were displaced from an overbooked hotel and the restaurant went above and beyond to make our experience great. We went back the next day once we were in our hotel and the service was consistently excellent.
The bartender was great, and offered us a drink for our anniversary, while we waited for our table. Once we got seated the server took very long to greet us, she only came back once our food was brought(which was about 25 minutes) out and then we had to request our check, we were waiting for a very long time. I would not come back or recommend. Over priced breakfast.
Menu sounded interesting and food we ordered was very good. Pretty noisy environment... I was at a table for two and I felt like my friend and I were shouting at each other. Still fun to be in such a high energy restaurant. Service was pretty poor... our waiter was not very attentive and had at first offered to split the item we were sharing but then brought it out in one plate with the wrong side. He took a few minutes to bring us silverware and our plates so we could share. Bathroom was a bit tight, warm, and smelly. Would go back for the food, but there’s definitely room for improvement.
Great overall experience, David was great, and we loved the food! Things were a tiny bit slow moving as they have a small kitchen but overall a great time!
Went for brunch with friends—food was good and the decor was super cute but the service was severely lacking. Our food took an hour to come out and the waitress messed up one of my friend’s bills, and had a bit of an attitude when she wanted it addressed.
Bottomless mimosas well worth the price. Good food, good staff. Would do again.
Food was amazing and Karen provided a very very good service :)
No parking and right in hotel lobby lots of commotion
Fantastic for friends!
This is our favorite brunch spot in south beach. Highly recommend outdoor seating to people watch. Karen was an amazing server and made sure our mimosas were indeed bottomless. The mahi tacos were a hit. We will be back.
We love the Kimpton brand. so, choosing the Social Club was a good bet. The location is great, on Collins. We were seated on the patio, which sits up and back from the street, so the people watching was fun and yet we could carry on a conversation. Alex was a great server, very attentive. We were headed to a Miami Heat game and our food came out timely. The burgers were really tasty ( a bit pricey, but hey it IS Miami Beach!) and the steak Frites were well received ( steak had a gravy on top, fyi ). Solid dining....
