Met a friend to catch up, range of dining options and decent drinks. Waitress checked in frequently and had a good time, I would say I like this one more than the Lincoln Center one, had a better vibe.

Came here for Sunday Brunch and enjoyed it so much we brought my brother and his wife for breakfast the following Tuesday. The coffee was so wonderful that we skipped having mimosas. The brunch menu was very good and creative with fabulous food to match. The breakfast menu was a little bit smaller, but absolutely tasty. Did not experience a marginal meal from the vanilla bean french toast to various egg options. The breakfast pot pie was unique and a big hit at brunch. The jalapeno grits were especially terrific even for those of us who do not normally like grits. The entire place had a good feel about it. We were happy to notice that it wasn't just a place for Millennials, all ages and demographics were well represented. I would recommend reservations for Sunday brunch as this place was quite popular. We will visit again the next time we are in Midtown NYC.

There definitely are some inspired dishes on the menu, but some of the flavors were overshadowed by a heavy hand w/ red pepper and black pepper. The vinaigrette was one such example of this, as was the dressing in the lobster roll. The broth of the mussels also had a strong pepper punch, which somehow wasn't imparted into the mussels themselves, which were plump and lovely, yet a little bland in flavor. What was the most impressive was the service. Our waiter was IMPECCABLE. Low key, courteous, attentive. He was so on point. The hosts seemed like aces as well, so it seems the place is run very well.

Always reliable, always delicious, always a great meal. The Smith is one of our most frequent option for out-of-town visitors because of the great vibe and the great food. Highly recommended!

This location is super accommodating . This is the 3rd time my running group has had brunch here and they always seat us with our reservation and we never wait despite it being super crowded . Great experience. We love the bathroom . The vibe is great and is now our group decided this is our official post race brunch spot!!

Quickly has become one of our most favorites in NYC. This weekend was 72 hours in the city celebrating our 9 year old with 2 grandmothers. From the French toast to pancakes to burgers - everything was great including service!

A bit loud, some of this had to do with the large group with kids at the next table. It was a little better after they left.

The Smith never disappoints with their fresh, flavorful ingredients. We ordered the avocado toast and French toast for our brunch date and couldn’t help but start with the chips and cheese. We had made reservations online and were seated as soon as we walked in; the service was great, as always.

We were sat by the serving station and asjed if we could sit some where else the blonde hostess could not have been anymore rude...it worked out but that's her job and we didnt mind waiting a few minutes .

We had asked for quiet table. Tried to seat us in the middle , very noisy we did get seated in a corner table and that was better. The original request was made on open table

Reservation for 8 PM. Not seated until 8:30 PM. Was given free appetizer. Waiter was good, not great. Food was spectacular.

Just be sure to organize your reservations more appropriately. 30 minute wait isn’t appropriate when one has a reservation and others are coming in and being seated ahead of those with a book spot in line.

This one of my preferred Spot and therefore I chose it to celebrate one of my best’s friend birthday with her family. And once again, we enjoyed eating there while having a great time. High quality food, great service and nice ambience. Will keep coming!

Always go to the one on 28th , think I can changed to the midtown one, really big and have good interior design with different styles. Food is good as usual! But just a little bit too popular that I have to yelled at mom for conversation

Went for brunch with my fiance and the food was ok. Nothing mind-blowing, which is probably why I feel like it's a bit overpriced for what you get.

Place is always packed but you never wait long. My only complaint is 3 tops are small and the chair to table height is awkward

Even though the Smith is quiet loud and the tables are a little too close together for comfort, the food and the scenery is amazing. Have already gone twice and if you have a reservation they take you in right away. The brunch is especially amazing. The only thing I would change is for them to put the times when breakfast and brunch start and end.

Apps were delicious- we had the hot chips and the Mac n cheese. The service and entrees were not worth the cost. My salad was wrong and the server never came by to see how things were and was very absent. Luckily another person noticed my annoyed facial expression and figured out something must be wrong with my food.

Spacious restaurant on the East Side with a varied menu. It is a nicely designed space although noise levels can be brisk. We were in a booth where normal conversational levels were just fine.
Service was quite good.

We are in NYC from out of town and saw this place from a far and thought it looked nice! Everything was great! Such a fun atmosphere. Highly recommend the Mac n cheese it’s to die for! Also, combined their house-made agave lemonade and vodka... YUM.
