Outdoor open air WITH heaters. Yummy food.
I made clear I had a serious allergy to gluten. My food came out, marking an allergy and it still had bread in it. Completely unacceptable mess up.
The Smith Burger was amazing. It was cooked and seasoned very well and would for sure go back to get it again.
We can’t get enough of The Smith!
Fun place even on a Tuesday! Food was great but more impressed with the service.
Lindsay took great care of us. We had an enjoyable holiday meal- she made a few good recommendations that we otherwise wouldn’t have thought about
Always a great Brunch and happy staff. With reservation, no wait and special request seating accommodated with pleasure.
Always love the Smith and love the holiday decor and general vibe. Only negative comment was that the glass on the table was dirty. They brought me a new one.
Friendly efficient staff. Comfort food at its finest. Mac & Cheese with yummy cheddar (probably Vermont), salad with crust apples and feta. Churro waffle with caramel sauce was dessert like. They deep fry. Very crispy.
Bubbly drink was more like a margarita than rose and bubbly. The description implied rose and bubbly. Was completely over powered by lime which isn’t even in the description.
We had 3 apps for 2 women and left with to go boxes.
Enjoyed the service.
They were great, and accommodated a very large group of ours. The manager checked in very frequently to make sure everything was going well
Great food and drinks. Service was great I would definitely recommend
Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a really long time. Starting with the hostess named Mika, to the general manager named Dion, to the actual waiter. I used to be a regular at this restaurant but will not be coming back.
The cost of one of the meals was incorrect on the bill and when I addressed it with the manager and showed him the price differential on the menu he was extremely rude and condescending. Its not the first time this same manager has been extremely degrading and condescending. It seemed as if I was bothering him when pointing out that the bill was wrong and inferred that they were extremely busy. He purposely pointed out it was the day after Thanksgiving and made me feel silly to point out a $2 price difference. He went in the back after and printed all new kids menus with the price I was charged on the bill showed them to me and said something like “now the price will be correct”. His attitude is unacceptable, he is pedantic and rude.
Small High school reunion
We have been at The Smith for the Thanksgiving dinner and we spent a really nice evening. Good food and good service!!
Thanksgiving fix menu, most of the items were already out.
My turkey was dry. The menu was too vague, had to wait an extra hour to get a meal fixed. Don't go here.
Had thanksgiving day reservations. When we arrived we were told that they were running behind with the reservations and that we could wait at the bar and they would get us when ready. 30 mins later we were seated at a super small cafe table for a party of 3. Our plates, water glasses and cocktails barely fit on the table. Delicious food made up for average service.
It was a return to our annual lThanksgiving meal (after the brunt of COVID pandemic in 2020) and were could not have been more pleased by the chance to celebrate one of our most favorite holidays at one of NYC’s finest eateries!!!
This was the best Thanksgiving Meal I have ever had in a Restaurant. Our
group of six looks forward to going back to Smith to celebrate this holiday.
I have prepared this meal at home many years and am unable to do this now
which is how I have had the opportunity to eat in many of the Restaurants
in the area over the last 11 years. It was far superior to anything served elsewhere.
We had Thanksgiving dinner with our kids. The door was great and we were not rushed out. Would definitely recommend, on of our favorite restaurants.
We arrived 5 min before our reservation time and waited 45 min to get our table next to the lavatory. Then waited at our table for another 10 to 15 min before we were servied. Food was ok but not thrilled to want to come back.
Next year we'll find another place for our thanksgiving dinner.
Had to wait about 15 minutes past our reservation. Seating was overbooked. On a holiday, there should be scheduled seating. Food was very good. Our server was very attentive considering the crowd. Music was way too loud so people were yelling to be heard. Won’t go back on a holiday. Have been for lunch, which was excellent because it was less crowded.
It was outside dining. It was cold. Drink that was recommended was not good. After telling the waiter, I was still charged. Our food came out cold.
Great Thanksgiving meal with excellent service!!! Although a bit crowded, we didn't feel like we were too close to the next table. I will be making future reservations at The Smith. Can't wait to try items on their regular menu.
It was a great Thanksgiving choice. We were seated on time and the service was excellent.
Thanksgiving dinner was great! Loved our waiter!
Very lovely thanksgiving dinner!
Thanksgiving dinner offered very good choices. Service and food were excellent. Special cranberry cocktail was not sweet and had a nice hint of savory spice. Really nice evening overall.
Have been coming to this restaurant for years because it’s one of our favorites- disappointed in the wait time to be seated even though we had a reservation (30 minutes). Once we were seated service was extremely slow.. we waited another 40 minutes after the main course for dessert. All in all ok thanksgiving experience but spent most of the time wondering where our server was/ how long it would be for drinks to show up etc….
Great Thanksgiving meal with good service! Will definitely return when in NYC.
Wonderful Dinner. Would recommend the Smith to anyone.
Although we had to wait a half hour, manager found us a table for 11 instead of the 6 and 5 we had reserved for Thanksgiving. Jeff, our waiter, was absolutely wonderful from first intro to last farewell. Food surpassed expectations -- there was more than plenty of it. Will return for Thanksgiving again next year if possible.
We had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner here. The food was delicious and the service was great. We would highly recommend!
The food was outstanding! And the service even better! Brendan the manager was lovely! Can’t wait to come back (from Scotland)
Winning formula. Small but great menu with just enough variety. Great bar scene as well.
Perfect weekday lunch. The service was excellent.
