Enjoyable as usual. Waitress was awesome and the food always good.
Great overall atmosphere and decent amount of choices. Definitely over priced though.
My benadict was over hard
Omg so amazing! As someone with a dairy allergy they made sure to be accomadating to this and even had management ensure my food was prepared correctly. Great portion sizes and food was amazing. Definitely recommend
Always a winner!
Went there for brunch, the food was amazing and priced very well. The staff was also 10/10.
The service could not have been more rude
Thank you to our server Nate! He made our evening that much better than it already was. Food, drinks, etc. was terrific.
I've been going here for a while now, but it never gets old.
The food, as usual, was excellent. The variety of items on the menu is an additiional plus.
We asked waiter for a bread basket twice, but never received it. Utensils had food on it and glass had lipstick staining. Not very appealing.
The waitress we had was phenomenal! Food exceptional! If you order a salad, maybe ask for dressing on side as they were a bit heavy handed on the dressing. Overall, great experience, table, service and food as well.
My girlfriend and I just landed in New York and went straight to The Smith. We did have reservations and I would highly recommend to if you’re going on the weekends. The hostesses were very quick to seat us and made sure we had our vaccine cards. The server was very kind and always made sure we were doing well during our dining. Our candle blew out a few times and before we even could ask him to light it he brought us a new candle lit. The Mac n cheese was to die for🙌🙌 I highly recommend it but make sure you have someone to share it with because it is massive. We also got the filet mignon which was prepared to perfection. Lastly we got the hot fudge sundae and it was so tasty. Different from your average Sunday where the brownie was at the bottom allowing you to scoop the ice cream and brownie at the same time. Overall a really good experience and would go again.
Last night’s experience at the Smith was very disappointing. With that said, the servers did a very good job. We were seated by the bar area and couldn’t hear each other. The hustle and bustle made for a very uncomfortable experience. The mac and cheese was good as usual. The meals were all mediocre at best- schnitzels and burgers. The drinks were made so sweet, we added seltzer. Couldn’t wait to high tail it out of there - that is- after we paid our $165 bill for one app- 2 drinks and 3 meals.
Hoping they can redeem themselves if we give them a “chance 2”.
Never a bad meal here. Service is sometimes spotty and the vibe is loud, loud, loud.
Too loud for us to all be at a longer table and talk, but good energy. Would just recommend lower music volume in the seated sections so people can talk without yelling.
This was so disappointing. I came here with my young daughter, and they said they would bring me a highchair that then never arrived. My drink order was taken quickly (and was delicious), but after close to 40 minutes, no one had come back to take my food order. With a squirmy baby not in a high chair, I had only a limited time to eat. I finally flagged down a wait person and just had them run my card for the drink. It was such a lousy experience.
The food was so salty our tongues became swollen. They are charging the prices of fine dining and I’d rather go to Olive Garden for the quality.
The restaurant was crowded, and unfortunately I was seated in the path of waiters and staff passing by constantly, it was rather uncomfortable and not conducive to a good dining experience.
However, the food was good and staff friendly and efficient.
I’ve had much better past experience at this spot.
Always have an amazing experience here! Best service around :)
Excellent service and good food. Server was outstanding.
We had brunch outside. Our service was great and the food was delicious. We had the apple churro waffle appetizer, the shishito pepper appetizer, ranchero scramble, The Smith Eggs Benedict, and The Smith Burger. My personal favorite was churro waffle appetizer. We will be back!
The service was slow and the food came after 25 minutes after we sitted. Coffee was cold and food average
Was a bit too loud
The waiter was rude and not helpful. No vegan options
I had the eggs Benedict for brunch, and everything was on point.
The hollandaise sauce was rich, and creamy.
They are great at accommodating large tables. We had a party of 10 and fit perfectly. Not always the easiest ro do in NYC. Also there is something for everyone on the menu. Recommend it!
Cozy ambiance outside with the lighting and plants. Good cocktails and food, would recommend to friends, family, coworkers.
Felt safe in the outdoor dining area. The food and service was excellent, as usual.
Everything was delicious!
Food was good, service excellent. But seated directly in front of a large pile of garbage on the street. Im glad they had outdoor seating but not appropriate to have a table situated like this.
Painfully load at this restaurant.
Remembered why I never come.
Too bad the food is so good but the noise is overwhelming. Probably so they can turn the tables over quicker.
When the food was served, the waiter disappeared and we didn’t even had glasses in the table. The salad they served me was old and brown.
Omg my sister and I went to the Midtown location on a Monday night at 8:15pm and we had the BEST time. We started with drinks at the bar, we got the Pear Sangria which was delicious and tasted like fall in a cup! We then got to our table and ordered the Caesar salad + the tomato soup, so good! We then spilt the Brick Chicken and mashed potatoes and it was SO good! We ended with the s’mores in a jar for dessert and it was the perfect ending to an amazing time!! The staff was incredible and we loved every minute. I never write reviews but I loved The Smith and will definitely be back!!
Waiter was kind, helpful and very attentive. The food was amazing!
Dependable. Friendly and efficient service. Good value for excellent cuisine. A must stop each time we visit NYC.
Birthday Brunch. Accepting reservations is what we liked best. They were even able to seat us early on this very busy Sunday afternoon. We enjoyed our visit very much.
I had a reservation, but getting seated took an extra 20 minutes, even after a few follow-ups. The table was in the center of a noisy area, which felt like it was arbitrarily placed. The servers took quite a while to take drink orders and food orders, and on top of that, our dining experience felt rushed when our plates were practically taken away before we were finished.
We had a family get together for brunch and the Smith was a great location. The food was delicious and the service was great. I highly recommend this place.
The service was great, and the prices were very reasonable especially given its location in the heart of NYC. Food and wine options complemented each other well.
Really loved the food! Really liked the vibes in there and was very aesthetic. Everyone is vey nice there as well but our waiter was a little impatient. But overall great experience!! :)))) I recommend to go with your friend/s!!
