Amazing staff, very attentive and the food was just what we expected. We had a very good time.
Consistently great service, good food and a lively atmosphere.
Hyper loud noise level and ridiculously expensive small pours of wine for the price made this a very disappointing experience. My friend's mussels were bland although the fries were decent and plentiful. My chicken sandwich with burrata was OK(the tomato jam was tasty but decidedly lacking in burrata. All in all, for a $40 lunch - would never go back.
Good American Food, very noisy location, fast service, Priced according to location
We arrived at the Nomad location and we waited a little bit before we had to go get someone to take our order. The people were very apologetic and gave us 2 appetizers and their cookies on the house. I’ve been to The Smith before but this was the first time my parents had been, so I was worried they wouldn’t enjoy it because of the service. But they loved it! Ny mom loved the fried green tomatoes and my dad the fried okra. Overall we had a great experience, so much that we came back for brunch. Very reasonably priced restaurant in the city. We loved the whole atmosphere.
The chairs are not comfortable, but the food is good
We are looking forward to our next visit.
Went here for a family brunch and everyone loved it!
I visited The Smith for brunch on Easter Sunday. It was packed, but the staff was turning over tables and seating people very efficiently. The food came out promptly and it was delicious. We had a wonderful time, I definitely recommend this place.
We planned brunch there the night before Easter. When we arrived, we saw a huge line with people everywhere. However, when I checked in we were seated within 5 minutes and the service was impeccable. Our server could not have been better- quick, efficient and friendly. The food was also delicious!
Three generations representing 3 states always make The Smith a must do in NYC. Thank you for the beautiful and delicious Easter brunch. We will be back very soon!
Had a great brunch on Easter Sunday. Eggs Benedict were fantastic!! Service was very friendly and professional. Will definitely go back.
As always, the food and service are excellent at The Smith. The ambience is fantastic, as well. Everyone will find something (or everything) to enjoy.
We went for Easter brunch and were very impressed. All the dishes were excellent and original, the venue was lovely and our server was great. I would highly recommend The Smith
Food was average - noise level was high - unisex bathrooms were a surprise! Not a bad meal but wouldn't be on my list of restaurants to return to.
Good value. Food very solid. Service very good. Get the grits and don’t worry about how much butter is in them... just enjoy.
One of my favorite restaurants! ALWAYS delicious, whether you are there for brunch, lunch or dinner. Love the avacado toast best but the steaks and burgers are awesome too. Great drinks. Well run restaurant with likeable staff. Service is on-point.
Great atmosphere. Lively! Service knowledgeable and excellent. Food was very good. Had breakfast here on a busy Saturday morning. Gluten free options available.
Everyone from the guest desk to the servers were amazing. The food was great!! This is after all the level of service and quality of food that one becomes used to at The Smith
Friends in town with baby
The Smith has a fabulous ambiance and delicious food. As a Chicagoan, I come here all the time when I’m in NYC.
Nice atmosphere for lunch. Service was great. The Seared Tuna Salad was outstanding.
My favorite business breakfast place in midtown. Wonderful staff, great food and consistently so over the years.
I have no words other than Thankyou 😊
Excelllent food! great service and nice place to have brunch! Loved it
Food came out cold. Was very disappointed in that. Service was ok.
Everything about this place is special phenomenal food great atmosphere sale wonderful service
The food was amazing. My mom said she would eat here everyday if she lived in the city. The poached eggs were like little white puffy clouds!!
It never disappoints!
Got good reviews but perhaps from a younger crowd. I see the appeal but pass on this place if you’re looking for a quiet dinner. Food ok, not bad, not great.
Food was mediocre, service was terrible and noise level was very high! I would never go back
The Smith continues to be the quintessential lunch spot on the east side. They manage to make simple meals interesting. Good job and great service
Very busy, very loud, slow service but the manager did a nice job trying to help. Food was good but not exceptional. It's a hot spot so good for young professionals.
Perfect for our lunch. Spicy tuna elegantly presented and absolutely delicious as was chicken sandwich and tuna w salad. Service was timely without rushing. Wait staff attentive. Awesome vibe business and recreational people. This is my new favorite restaurant for any occasion.
Very disappointing and we knew that it would be noisy. It was far beyond noisy. The waitress's attention was sporadic at best. Not sure what restaurant management can do about the noise, but why would you eat out when you cannot hear the people you cam with.
Incredible wait staff.
The Smith is a "new" place for me- lucky me! The menu had so many interesting items to choose, and my smoked salmon was a good one. The restaurant was quiet, as I was there at an in-between time, which was refreshing. Our server was attentive and friendly. I will definitely return!!
Loved eating at The Smith. The food was great and content with the service we got!
We made a reservation and had a slight delay in being seated, Sunday brunchers haha. We waited about 15 minutes longer than expected, but the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The food is always great here!
