Very busy, especially before performances at Lincoln Center. Make a reservation! Also energetic and loud. Menu has nice variety. Service was a bit slow. Apple pie was awesome.

Food and service were very good. Would hesitate to go back due to the extremely high noise level. The first thing I requested, when asked, was for ear plugs!

Great choices for all kinds of eaters. Wait staff was great and attentive. Brussels sprout starter was a hit. Spicy but good. Hot pepper starter was not spicy so everyone loved them as well. Cauliflower tacos for the vegan were fantastic!! Best thing of the night was the s’mores in a jar dessert! Yummy!

Reservation was made 2 weeks in advance. Arrived 5 minutes late. A makeshift table was set up that extended into the service isle. Ordered food and drinks at first contact with server. Drinks arrived within 10 minutes. Food arrived after over 40 minutes and two conversations with server and manager. We barely ate half of the meal and couldn’t take to go as we were already late for a show at Lincoln Center. The food was good but the service, table set up and support was the worst. First, drinks were comped , then the whole meal after already paying. We’ll see if the charge gets reversed.

Food remains good, service generally hurried but good, noise level remains deafening. We return because it’s fine for pre-theatre eats. Appreciate the water and bubbly water options. Menu hasn’t changed in forever.

Had a nice evening out at the Smith with my partner. Our server, Lovell, was excellent - friendly, attentive and ensured we were well taken care of. Loved the food and dessert, was perfect for dinner before a show at Lincoln Center.

Despite a reservation we had a tiny table for two in the middle of the traffic in the back room. No place for coats,umbrellas, etc. the noise was deafening and we were never comfortable enough to enjoy the food. The service was good, but we will not return as this was a most unpleasant dining experience.

The food is what keeps us coming back to this west side favorite! Great burgers, pasta, steaks and salad, although the service is really slow and uneven (some waiters care a lot; others simply ignored us). They have a tough time managing the front desk - we always wait too long for our reservation and there is a always a mob scene trying to get seated for people who have reservations. Shouldn't be the case.... Don't miss the hot fudge sundae and S'mores sundae for dessert. Family favorites!

The Smith- Lincoln Square has become my 'go-to' restaurant in the area for myself and friends, as well as guests from out of town. It is consistently fantastic. The menu is varied and inventive. The quality, flavor, and presentation of the dishes never disappoints. The cocktail and wine list are equally fun and inventive and the prices, reasonable. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. I highly recommend!
