Everything was perfect!
Amazing as always!
Bleh. Not worth time. Food is just ok.
The food is amazing. I think there is nothing in the menu that I wouldn't recommend it. love this place! The service is always great.
Pancakes and short rib hash are both must-haves! Excellent coffee, food was sublime.
It was fine.
Brought the family here for breakfast during our long weekend stay in NYC. Always a good meal and great service. I make it a point to come here whenever I am in town.
Great. Never disappoints.
The place was unexpectedly huge. We weren't sure where we were going as we went to our table. Walked thru a lot of hallways. Good menu choices and drink list. Good selection of wines and beer. Lot of service people, but they have a lot of tables to take care of - sometimes hard to flag your server.
The food choices were all very good. Everyone commented on how tasty and portion sizes.
Overall a good place, but conversations are difficult with a large group.. Keep it small and the noise will not be a problem..
I've spent great fun time!
Good food close to the Met. Price and service ok given it was very crowded.
A great place to meet before or after a Lincoln Center event. Service is friendly and prompt. Menu is interesting, Sometimes feels too crowded and cramped at adjoining tables.
We booked the Smith-Lincoln Square prior to attending the Met as we did several weeks ago for another opera. The table was ready. The sound level was high (but we knew it would be and it was not a negative) the sevice was only a little “slow” which was also expected. What was not expected was the quality of the food compared to our last visit. Of the 5 of us, 3 were not at all satisfied. One of us (a guest from the UK) had the “special” - slow pork dinner which was just not very good. I had the “special burger” and it also was not up to what I expected. My wife had the “steak salad”. The steak itself was fine but the salad presentation and taste left a lot of room for improvement. To be fair the other 2 guests enjoyed their meal. Although there are not many decent restaurants in walking distance of Lincoln Center, I’m pretty sure we would not come back. We’ll take a csb if necessary.
Thank you to manger Doug who was welcoming and made our experience all the more enjoyable!
Delicious food and cocktails, with friendly and efficient service. Only negative aspect is that some of the tables are very close together, so I could hear the conversations on both sides of my table and that was a little distracting.
We had excellent service, food was good. Location was perfect, right across the street from Lincoln Center. Like most NYC restaurants the tables were very close together so tHe noise was very loud.
Great place to have lunch.
Always fun just so LOUD. Great location when heading to Lincoln Center.
Awesome all around!
Had a wonderful Sunday brunch with my daughter. Enjoyed the location...friendly service and food very much.
Food is good, but it is was very busy and very loud. Not a place for a quiet conversation, but buzzing and fun!
Very nice but our table was in the middle of the floor so the location was very loud.
Food was very good but replace was pretty chaotic.
Always good... Very consistent quality. Love the free sparkling water at the table. They go above and beyond in accomodating allergies best I've seen in New York thank you! That's why they are on my go to rotation list!
It took the waiter a very long time to deliver the check and also take our orders, but the food was so amazing and the ambience is so great that the waiter could have yelled at us and I still would have given. a 5 star review
The Smith is always great - tons of options for food and drinks. Service is always good and best of all, they never rush you out. So it's my top choice when meeting with friends or family. Will always recommend.
Great as always! just love this place!!
I have been to The Smith on a number of occasions. The food is fine, but the noise level is very high and makes conversation difficult. Since I go out to eat in order to socialize with my friends, this is a big drawback. "Energetic" is an unfortunate euphemism for uncomfortably loud.
My favorite breakfast/brunch spot in the city. Great menu, great drinks. Their breakfast potatoes are to die for and the short ribs and cheese grits are heavenly.
Fun place with interesting and delicious cocktails and food menu. Service great.
While our meal and service were just fine, we were fortunate in being able to dine outdoors. The noise inide the restaurant was beyond deafening, as uncomfortable as oncoming subway trains. Avoid it if mealtime conversation is important to you.
Delicious burger and brownie Sunday. Blue cheese chips ok, and arrived after the entree.
Beware, if you order the salad and add a protein theyll slap $15 extra without telling you. I refused to pay that amount and they had to bring the manager out. They took care of it but this was unethical in my opinion
Been to the Smith a number of times. Great drinks. But this time our food was lack luster. My medium burger was raw (soft squishy red ground meat with barely even a char to the outside) and my wife's gnocchi was just fried dough that tastes like bread bites. Also we had a reservation but the front desk didn't find it and then sat us at a table that was between two walking paths so people kept bumping into the table. All and all the visit was just lacking but I would still go back just not to this location of the Smith.
We ate here because it was across the street from Lincoln Center. We had burgers which were excellent and prepared as we requested. More than ample fries were included. The waiter was friendly and accommodating. Service was quick.
excellent food, v.good service, quite noisy until theater crowd left
Service was not terrible but definitely not good which made almost a bad experience. The waitress made us feel like we were bothering by ordering many times different things. We were a group of 6 and since the portions were quite on the smaller side, we continue to add different items from the menu.
Food was ok. From what I ate and remember, I can say that The calamari felt like from a cheap touristic restaurant but the pork chops were fantastic.
Amazing food - the Hot Potato Chips and Bleu Cheese Fondue were absolutely superb. We had a great seat on the patio to watch people walk by and enjoy the outdoor energy, but not too loud. Drinks were top notch and our waiter Evan was funny and attentive and classy. As visitors to your city, the next time we are near, yours will definitely be restaurant to which we return!!
Always a great experience. Exceptional service and great food. I live in Lincoln Square and this is such a great restaurant to have in the area!
Restaurant is extremely loud. Not conducive for conversation. Overpriced. Food was good, but not great, especially for the price.
