The Smith- Lincoln Square

Food service and the energy make this place really appealing. An absolute must if you are near one of their locations. Bi bim bap is revelatory. Which is weird for a non Korean restaurant but trust me.
Had brunch at The Smith at Lincoln Square on the west side of NYC. Noise level was very high, but like the energy. I ordered a scrambled egg ranchero with beans and avocado, it also had some kind of a waffle under the scrambled eggs. The waffle like bread was to charred and not very tasty, would not order again. My husband had the Sicilian eggs with tomato sauce and really like it. We had cocktails the were very good.
A bit too pricy for what you get.
Our seating was perfect. They were able to seat me before my other party arrived. The service was excellent!
Great spot. Don’t be shy to speak up in there. And bring a few bucks!
Food was the best and overall service was awesome I would recommend this place to anyone my Valentine’s Day here was great
Great time great service great food
My friend and I came here for a Galentines day dinner. The food was absolutely delicious, we got the skillet Mac and cheese and the brick pressed chicken . The Mac and cheese was phenomenal and really filling so we could barely finish our main entree. The mashed potatoes and the chicken were both also excellent and made great leftovers lol. The service was quick, and the restaurant itself is super cool with even cooler surprises. Definitely an amazing experience and will definitely be returning with more friends. My only regret was not getting dessert!
Good service. Good food
Great meal and truly top notch service. We were seated about 15-20 minutes past our reservation, but were treated to a complimentary appetizer and cookies to take home! A truly great experience in hospitality.
Long wait even with reservation; afterwards, really good service and tasty food.
We went on Valentine's Day evening before the ballet. It was crowded and fun and great for people watching. Yes, it's loud but that did not bother our party of four. The food was delicious -one of the best burgers I've had. I also had the Old Cubano cocktail and it really hit the spot. Very good value for the money especially for Lincoln Center.
My daughter and I went here on Valentine’s Day with a reservation through Open Table. We received a fabulous table - a tiled booth facing the dining room. Our service was excellent. He gave us recommendations and never hurried us through our meal. It was very busy and fun atmosphere. I highly recommend!
custom order on my burger was done, good service pre-ballet. v nice.
The Smith is always good and so consistent. Robert at the Front was especially nice and helpful.
Always a fan favorite for a casual night with quality food. From the sparkling water to the gnocchi to die for. I’m always happy walking out!
Server Javier was excellent
Always a great menu, and we were seated very quickly by the staff. Our server was so helpful.
While the food and service were fine, the noise level is ridiculous. "Energetic" doesn't cover it. When I eat in a restaurant, I'd like to talk to the people I'm dining with. That is almost impossible at The Smith. Never again.
Food is always delicious and staff are really nice. Super convenient to Lincoln Center. This is a big restaurant that is sort of a zoo at peak times.
Very good food and service. A little noisy.
A bit noisy, otherwise, very good. Excellent service. Very good food.
The food was decent, but my plate arrived 10-15 minutes after the rest of my table. The waiter also forgot to bring cream for my coffee. But the real reason I won’t eat there again—even though I live in that building—is the noise level. I understand how the wait staff might be distracted. Who could think while a cacophony is going on. Everyone was shouting to be heard. That’s not how I want to have a meal.
As always, the staff was warm and attentive and the food outstanding! The Smith Lincoln Square never disappoints!
The front desk was great about seating us on time for our reservation even though it was a busy Saturday night. Drinks and food were amazing as always. Our server, Joanne, was amazing and never bothered us too much or made us feel rushed but our drinks were still always full!
Very, very loud. Excellent service. Expensive good food. Appreciate the location.
We appreciate the fact that we never feel rushed to finish our food even when the restaurant is busy. The service was great as well.
Too noisy....tables were too close. It was impossible to hear . I did not enjoy the experience
Definitely expensive but good quality food and fun atmosphere
Service was exceptional, food was hot and delicious.
Good food and good service consistently delivered
Conveniently close to Lincoln Center but poor food quality and ridiculous high noise level makes it impossible to want to return
It's a fun venue and the food is delicious. It is a little pricey, but that's the Lincoln Center neighborhood..
The restaurant was so noisy. I was in the back and it was even noisier in the front.
Great place to enjoy dinner before performance in Lincoln center. Basic food and great service.
Wonderful par usual! Service excellent, food delicious, ambiance fun!!!
Love the Smith! It's my favorite place to eat before or after any show at Lincoln Center. The jalapeno grits are out of this world (not to mention the brownie sundae).
We decided to come here for lunch before seeing a broadway show. And we were so happy we did! The service was excellent! Especially the hosts at the front door. They treated us really well and handled a reservation mix up (which was totally my fault) with grace. The service was efficient and I was very impressed at how well trained all the bus boys were. Great job management!
All of our dishes were fresh and great, and I especially liked the baked eggs dish.
We loved the whole experience and will be coming back again!
Great service and food
