Came here on for Brunch on Sunday and couldn't believe how big and busy the restaurant was. Service was superb, we were seated straight away and the waiter was really attentive. Food was great, especially the pancakes. Great atmosphere. Would definitely come again.
Always love a meal at The Smith. Never disappointed.
Love coming here for brunch! Service is exceptional and the food is delicious.
Great food amazing service. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and made sure we were able to get to our show in time!
The food was excellent but we felt we were rushed. Bill was brought to the table while we were still eating dessert. Could have waited until we had finished our food.
We had an amazing experience! We had the most amazing waiter and he gave us complementary dessert because we were such a great table. It was a very nice gesture and was greatly appreciated. All the food was incredible. Cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The blue cheese chips and mac and cheese were amazing. I had the tomato baked egg dish which was amazing. Overall beautiful restaurant and amazing food and atmosphere.
Food was very good. Service was excellent would go there again
Love being so close to Ballet! Food was perfect — something for everyone. Service was epic: Samantha could not have been more lovely.
The food was marvelous and the service was excellent.
I had dinner there with my daughter on a Friday night before a NYC Ballet performance that we were attending. We were seated promptly and our table server, Nicole F, was exceptionally courteous, friendly and attentive. Our meals were delicious and served promptly. We easily finished our meals with time to spare before the Ballet and we were not rushed. It was crowded and busy, so it was loud but relaxing. I’ll definitely be back.
The Rancheros Eggs were terrific. The blue corn waffle was light and a nice twist in Huevos Rancheros
I would strongly recommend noise control. It would be so nice to enjoy your excellent menu while having pleasant conversations with friends
Great neighborhood place. Excellent food and service. A little too noisy for real conversation.
The service was outstanding and the food was incredible. Overall a great experience and we look forward to going back
great location near Lincoln Center, food was very good, but it is pretty noisy.
Lunch hour was too busy for us, the tables are too close to each other and it was extremely noisy with the high amount of patrons having lunch. The Smith Burger although good was pretty soggy and difficult to eat. Overall the service was good, but I would only want to come when there are fewer people.
Great dinner! Great service! Right across the street from Lincoln Center so really easy to get you to theater on time!
Great Food. Love the fries, and the waiter/staff were outstanding. It is pricey...but whatever.
Great place for a working weekday brunch/second breakfast/early lunch.
The pancakes are lethal however? So don’t eat those unless your metabolism can overcome them or you’ll lose a few productive hours. (Almost worth it.)
Good food, service, and location. At bit noisy even at 10:00 pm
Good food. Service couod have been better but Manager comped our desserts.
Food was delicious! Our clients were impressed
I choose this restaurant because it was conveniently located right across the street from the Lincoln Center, where I was seeing a performance. The "small plate" calamari was delicious and a much larger portion than anticipated. The entree meals (salmon and chicken) were alright, nothing spectacular. My favorite part of the meal was the smores in a jar dessert. I would come back to this restaurant.
Good food. The NY strip was really tasty and lots fries with it. The seafood platter was nice. We really like the environment. Will come back.
Our new favorite restaurant in NYC! ❤️
Very convenient to Lincoln center. We were just a little disappointed that they didn’t serve a dinner menu early on Sunday.
The staff was fabulous; all of them!! When staff members anticipate one’s needs and address them before asked, that’s just fantastic!
The food was outstanding and a great value for NYC.
I will definitely return and highly recommend The Smith:
We LOVED everything about the Smith! The food and service were excellent and located so close to Lincoln Center. It was a perfect meal-can’t wait to go back!
The food and service was excellent!! I wasn't crazy about the layout of tables. No privacy, you are seated right on top of each other. It was difficult to have a conversation. A bit pricey for brunch, but delicious food.
Delicious! A staple in NYC. Generous portions. Make a reservation. Especially brunch. It gets crazy busy!
The best breakfast we’ve ever had!!! Tight squeeze at the tables and pretty noisy but the food made it well worth it!
The food and service was very good. The only problem I had is the was you are literally stuffed in. It was very tight.
Great and versatile Brunch menu. Options for everyone. Overall an enjoyable experience.
A little crowded but it was a Saturday night in New York City. Service was good no problems with the menu or ordering drinks and food. Dinner served promptly and exactly how was ordered--staff efficient friendly and understanding of our needs.
Will we return to the Smith again the answer is of course.
Food was excellent. We had 6:30 reservations before a show at Lincoln Center and we were able to be seated right away even though the restaurant was busy. A little noisy and cramped (table next to us was literally 6 inches away) but I think that is a typical situation in NY restaurants. All in all, a great experience.
Our server was not of the usual high standard that we are accustomed to at The Smith - in fact, we did not receive a side that was ordered (and still appeared on the check). The food however was exceptional as normal.
Over-all the experience was a good one: however, the tables are very close together and the noise level was high. It was difficult to have a conversation with my wife. The food was excellent. I was a little disappointed with the lack of attentiveness of our waitress.
Absolutely love the Smith. My favorite restaurant in NYC!
The food and service are excellent. I hadn't been there for a while. It's a busy restaurant and so there's a fairly high noise level. But the food and service and LOCATION make up for that.
Our server Kevin was friendly and helpful. He answered all of our questions and took excellent care of us. The food was delicious, and the prices reasonable. The manager Rebecca was also attentive and made sure all was to our liking. It was my birthday and although we didn’t order it, Kevin made sure to bring a personal apple pie with a candle for me. Thankfully, no one sang “Happy Birthday to You”. The Smith had been recommended to me by a friend, and I am recommending it to all my friends.
