The waitress are so rude. But the manager he knows how to handle everything. Good for the restaurant.
Thought I'd get something special for my 21st birthday :/
Good food. Great Service
The Smith is a great place if you are looking for an indoor dining option in the EV. I felt safe dining here as they have many COIVD protocols in place. The staff was friendly and the food was great.
The best time!
Food could be better
Felt very rushed out. Didn’t realize the smith closed before 10:30 or else we would have gone somewhere else where we could comfortably sit and order drinks instead of being handed the check within 10 minutes of receiving our food.
Fantastic experience. Delicious food and wonderful service.
Service prompt and food good. They did forget to bring refill for sparkling water though. I didn't like having to mask up every time the water came by. We were able to have the table for a long time which was nice.
So given everything that is going on, quite frankly The Smith nailed it beyond words. Very friendly service. Concise explanation of how it all goes down from getting the temp check to the where masks when the staff swings by. Everyone followed the rules. The meal was great. The cocktails solid, the service exemplary.
Great menu, well made food and service, as always! I would definitely recommend it.
The food was tasty but the drinks were a bit strong for our liking. Outside dining was the only option but lucky for us it was a nice day
Food was not tasty and expensive. Service was ok.
Always love the smith, especially at brunch! Food was very good (although eggs were a bit cold) , great Covid 19 precautions. Only thing is there are so many homeless people in that area and were constantly walking by the tables without masks, so I didn’t feel safe. Had I been sitting at one of the street tables near the cars (which I had asked for but weren’t available) I would have felt safer.
Great chicken sandwich. Strict Covid rules. For example, the server cannot come to your table with a mask off.
Sunday brunch at 9:45 was very nice, seating well done outdoors with overhead covering and feeling of privacy and space with olanter barriers even though light traffic was flowing. Food was delicious and well prepared, service was excellent. All staff wear masks appropriately and ask guests to wear masks when servers approach table. Able to safely accommodate allergies to nuts as well.
They have such delicious fries! I really recommend the Gnocchi.
The Smith is always great but the as the tables get further away from the restaurant down 3rd Avenue, so does the experience. We felt very exposed vs. the people who are in the restaurant’s open window and those in the alcove they’ve built just outside in the street. Understand this is a necessary evil but wouldn’t have kept the reservation if I’d known the table setup we’d be getting. Food and service were good as always though.
Above Average food with a nice ambiance. I'd go again, but not regularly.
Very nice outdoor dining - great mac and cheese
Always a reliably awesome eatery and drink place with tasty food and interesting drinks and wine. Excellent prompt and friendly service. Very safety-conscious wait staff in these times of heightened precautions. Thanks!!!
had to wait 30 min with a reservation
Great place and great service.
While our server was phenomenal, service was rather slow. I received a glass of wine almost 30 minutes after my boyfriend received his cocktail.
I ordered a Santiago Punch to drink, because you don’t find pisco on every menu. It was delicious! We split the Mac & cheese as an appetizer, which was PHENOMENAL. Then I had the watermelon and avocado salad with marinated shrimp, which was fairly good. I thought the flavor mix was interesting, but there were too many onions and not enough salad. The shrimp were fantastic!
Service was typically quick, and I’m loving the outdoor dining in NYC right now. This spot was no exception.
It was amazing, great staff, great food, great drinks!!
All in all my breakfast was good. I was just happy to support one of the many restaurants in NYC during this Covid time.
very nice large outdoor spaces with the sane precocid excellent food and drink -menu similar to precocid one
Good food, slow service, pretty expensive however
Great customer service. A dog jumped up and put his paws on the end of our table. Someone came by and washed the end of the table off. I thought that was very kind of him. We were impressed with the entire waitstaff, very friendly.
Good place for comfort food. The outdoor set up was nice.
This was my second time here. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be back. The salads and appetizers were quite good but all three of the main courses we ordered were pretty tasteless. I understand that seasoning is subjective but for all three to be bland was a disappointment.
Great brunch experience. While there was a bit of a wait for a late Sunday brunch, a text quickly notified me when my table was ready. The food was sooo good! We ordered a dozen oysters, chilled shrimp for appetizers. The seafood was fresh! My sister and I both ordered steaks w eggs and trust me not a bit was left over. We went for the 50/50 frozen margaritas and I was tipsy after one drink!
Great food, great service. One of my favorite restaurants in NYC.
I’m here all the time and it has the best food ever
Great lobster rolls and drinks
Good food and service. Comfortable outdoor dining.
It was only outdoor seating but still very good. Def. recommend.
Great staff amazing food
