What a lovely dinner! Everything from our greeting at the door to the service we received - to say nothing of the delicious meal was just fantastic. The fact that it is a BYOB restaurant makes this a place that we will frequent.
The food was the best meal I have had in a long time.
order the greek shrimp - amazing!
Omelette was burnt. Expensive for what you got. No one checked in to see how everything was. Would not return.
Had a great dinner.Priced right, cooked right, good recipes, GREAT SERVICE and a beautiful evening with our favorite wine !
We very much enjoy Silverspoon. It is our 'go to' place for a date night.
Never diappointing. Ask for Michael! Worlds nicest waiter.
You can't go wrong eating here. One of my favorite places for lunch. My friend had the burger (she really liked it and it was cooked perfectly) and I had the Grilled Rachel (again). Service was great too!
One of very few restaurants I can say I have never had a bad meal. The food is fresh, creative and delicious. Three of us shared Brussels sprouts, bacon and watermelon salad to start. For dinner we had the salmon and the shrimp entrees. And they most generously noticed we were celebrating a birthday so they surprised us with unbelievable tres leches cake.
Always a great meal.
We shared Brussels sprouts with hummus as an appetizer and it was excellent. Never had them together.
Will definitely order again.
Lovely dinner on the terrace
This was our first in-person meal here since the pandemic, and it was great to be back. This chef makes magic with his deft choices of ingredients and perfect blends of seasonings and sauces. The service was gracious and personal, as always. We will continue to use this for our "special night out" restaurant of choice.
Great! Love this place
Another fabulous meal!
Where Michael knows your name and treats you like family.
Wonderful tasting menu from the sea! One of the best lobster rolls we have had (including Maine)! The squash crudo had a good bite from the thin sliced yellow squash and lovely meld of pesto, citrus and chopped nuts. Blacked cod was done just right. Note not heavy spice, so fine for the "faint of heart). All this was topped of by an amazing vanilla ice cream with almond, coconut, peach compote goodness. Service sizes were balanced for the multicourse meal. We probably should have shared the ice cream. Even if you have missed this special menu, or post quarantine experiences at Silverspoon have been great. Thanks to Chef and shout out the Michael the major domo!!
The staff forgot to bring back our leftover appetizer at the end of the meal and we forgot to ask for it back.
We went for the special pre-advertised tasting menu, but when we got there were told they could not get grouper and substituted cod. BIG DIFFERENCE. Big Disappointment.
Busy but service was great
Great spit for lunch in the mainline
Always wonderful food and great service!
Food was good. Servers are friendly. Definitely a local to-go place for brunch and lunch with friends and family.
Diners can always rely on The Silverspoon for a relaxed, quiet atmosphere, very friendly service, and consistent, high quality food choices for every palate.
The Silverspoon is always a good food experience. Highly recommend!
This is a charming little restaurant tucked back near the rear of an upscale shopping area on Lancaster Ave. in Wayne, PA. It was recommended to us by a friend and we're delighted that we tried it.
The food was excellent and the presentation quite nice. The soups that we tried -- gazpacho and a mushroom bisque -- came to the table in small glass cups with metal handles that presented a lovely visual. Not only did the soups look appetizing, but they also tasted great! Our lunch salad entrees were stocked with incredibly fresh garden veggies, the perfect meals for a hot summer day. The server, Giada, was excellent -- personable, knowledgable, and very attentive.
The only downside was the noise level in the restaurant. With a beautiful tin ceiling above and wonderful hardwood floors, there was no opportunity for sound dampening, making conversation a bit difficult. Still, the food, ambiance, and service made the trip worthwhile.
The Silver Spoon is definitely a restaurant that I'd highly recommend. We'll return to try their interesting dinner menu.
The Silverspoon was a great experience. All four of us enjoyed the food from the soup to the desserts. Everything tasted fresh and our server was delightful. She knew the menu and provided some really good suggestions. The chicken and the salmon were tasty! The dining room is certainly energetic!
A wonderful find on the main line. And to be BYOB saves a lot of money.
It was our first time at Silverspoon after the Pandemic and it was another good experience. We sat outside with a nice breeze, the food was delicious and the service by Michael was outstanding as always. We love the Silverspoon and will be back soon.
Wonderful visit with friendly staff and delicious food. Can’t recommend Silver Spoon more highly.
As usual we had a very enjoyable meal. Seasonal watermelon salad was excellent, great combination of flavors. I took a gamble on the Denver steak given it’s not as tender but the flavors in the seasoning and sauce more than made up for the texture. My wife had the pork tenderloin…very delicious. And of course the service was top notch as always….thank you Michael. Silver Spoon has been our favorite for years because they continue to surprise us with new dishes and flavor combinations we simply wouldn’t try on our own. Like everything else in life, favorites are personal but we’ve never been disappointed.
Repeat visit within a week
Came back to try other menu options
A little disappointed about the portion size. I ordered the steak. It was delicious but it was in fact a slice of steak..... sliced.
It was a lot of money for what you get.
One of the best brunch/lunch places on the Main Line. Weekend reservations are a must though, Sunday's especially. Food is wonderfully prepared and creative. Service is terrific too. It's BYOB too which is a plus.
Brussels sprout appetizer is delicious!!!
Enjoyable evening, great menu selections, outstanding food and great value
Great cuisine in a friendly “welcome back” environment. Always happy to see their repeat clientele. Five star service.
Cuisine excellent! Menu has a variety of options plus interesting special additions. We love the traditions (carmelized bacon and truffle fries) as well as the added items (watermelon feta salad). The combination of flavors in the salmon were absolutely fantastic. And we had an inside/outside table to enjoy the summer breeze. Our favorite BYO for sure.
Nicest people working there with really good good.
Michael was our server
He was excellent
Michael is exceptional !!!!
We had lunch reservations for Father’s Day. Was pleasantly greeted by owners and seated immediately.
Our server, Michael and other staff were extremely attentive, friendly, polite, efficient and always checking in with us. The food was incredible-especially the watermelon salad, quiche, burgers and soups. The homemade ice cream and brownie combo amazing. We also enjoyed the fresh orange juice, the best ever!!
Definitely a 5 star restaurant!!
Clean, beautifully designed and overall the perfect dining experience!
Will definitely return!!
Thank you all at Silverspoon. :)
