The Silverspoon Restaurant
Alcohol service is BYOB.

Always love the food and welcoming owners at The Silverspoon! Thank you.
Have enjoyed Sunday Brunch here several times and never disappointed. Food well prepared and always an interesting selection. Servers attentive and well informed of menu. If I lived closer, I'd be there weekly. Thank you!!
The food was delicious only surpassed by the exceptional service provided by Michael.
Highly recommend Silverspoon.
great spot to meet friends for lunch. nice menu - everyone enjoyed.
Phylly and I had a super delightful dinner with Mikey giving us better than swell service asusual. This place is the best well kept secret in Philly and hopefully will stay that way forever. Thanks for the wine Mikey! Good stuff!
FOOD MENU UNEXCITING - FOOD SAME - WOULD NOT BE A PLACE I WOULD "RUN BACK TO EAT
Birthday dinner. Service was extremely slow. We were seated at 6:05 and didn’t receive our check until 8:20pm
Our server was amazing! Food was great! Will totally be back!
Great meal! Enthusiastic waiter, Michael, described the meals perfectly making our decisions easy. Interesting menu items but not so "out there" that a less adventurous diner would have trouble finding something great to order. Menu items are somewhat limited --which, to me, means they do what they do well! Nice size restaurant with good ambiance. We have been here before for brunch--also delicious. Would not hesitate to recommend.
The service and food are always great. Delicious!
Great brunch BYOB
The food is absolutely fabulous - it is fresh, different and delicious. Service is quick and friendly - the menu and specials are explained and all questions are answered. We have enjoyed having Jen as our server on several occasions and it is a pleasure! She is so engaging and so helpful - she certainly is an asset to The Silverspoon. I would highly recommend it - we were just there for brunch. I have a delicious omelette and my friends enjoyed chicken and waffles. We also had dessert which was fantastic. I would strongly urge reservations. It got pretty crowded and there were people waiting.
Have been here frequently for lunch and always enjoyed the food and service is excellent
This little gem keeps getting better and better. Today I selected a new item on the lunch menu--lobster roll! Yummy! I'm never disappointed in the food or service.
Had the lobster salad which was excellent. Great place to meet someone. Main restaurant open to outdoors on nice day.
Every time I dine at The Silver Spoon, I enjoy the menu selections, but I must tell you that every time I am disappointed in the amount of salt used. It is highly unnecessary! Sometimes I have told the waiter or waitress or the hostess, but it does not make a difference. I think in the future when a friend suggests eating there, I will decline.
Sorry...I want to be supportive of your presence on the Main Line!
I chose the Silverspoon for lunch on my birthday with my husband and parents. I like that it’s BYOB and I could bring a bottle of champagne. My parents both had the lobster sandwich, I had the frittata and my husband had the BLT. Everything was delicious. Robbie was friendly and attentive. I recommend The Silverspoon for lunch and dinner. Great menu options and friendly people in a lovely atmosphere.
It was lovely
It was the night breezes, the open doors, the patrons and the food that made this a wonderful dining experience. Service from Michael was unique which added to a perfect night.
5 Stars. Food, service, ambiance was perfect as always. Would recommend for any occasion. And it is BYO!
Awesome service! Awesome food! The only reason for lack of 5 stars across the board is that the tables are a bit small. Other than that all the staff was polite and attentive and couldn’t ask for better tasting wonderfully presented food! We will definitely be back by ourselves and with friends!
Outstanding food at a great price. BYOB say parking and accessible
I just got bacon eggs, toast and orange juice. The bacon was outstanding and caramelized. The service was excellent. Also the mushroom bisque was tasty.
Some of our meals were amazing, some were not great. Chorizo grilled cheese and BLT with fried egg was fabulous. The burger was over cooked and Heirloom tomato eggs Benedict was overpowered by the basil and nduja. We went to celebrate a birthday, which we mentioned in our reservation, but this was not noted by the staff. Overall we had a nice experience, but it was lacking in terms of reaching an excellent experience.
food very good , entrees limited and no specials the night we went. the beet salad excellent !
This was our fourth time dining at Silverspoon. As always, the service was wonderful and the food was very good. The mushroom soup is always excellent and the Caesar and arugula salads were tasty and well prepared. The current menu was difficult for our party. The protein choices were very adequate - steak, chicken, salmon, swordfish, and gnocchi with ham. We would have ordered any of those, but each of us, individually, looked at the accompaniments and wondered what had happened to the restaurant we all loved. Three of us ordered the gnocchi and loved it, and the fourth member of our table enjoyed the salmon. We are all looking forward to the next menu change.
As usual food was fantastic!
Michael was awesome
Always enjoy our meal here. Fabulous food, staff and great location.
Never disappoints and it is always a treat to go whether for brunch, lunch or a great BYO dinner!
I suggested this place for my group to have brunch last Sunday. We were 4 adults and 4 children.
Nothing majorly bad happened, however, several small things that spoiled the experience.
One of the kids asked for the waffles with no compote, it came with it, when they brought the correct order there was some salt on the place.
Another kid asked for pancakes and syrup on the side, it came wrong.
One of the adults salad was extremely salty. And overall the portions are just not big enough.
Again, nothing major and it wasn’t terrible, but I felt bad for bringing them there because of all the small things and lack of apology.
The Silverspoon is such a gem. The people are very friendly and attentive. We had a lovely lunch for two. I was having trouble deciding among FIVE options- that rarely happens that there are so many tempting items on the menu for this particular eater. Our server helped me choose the seasonal omelette which was stuffed with julienne snap peas, corn and feta cheese served with home fries. My husband had the grilled cheese with chorizo (which was one of the ones I was considering) with the truffle fries instead of the house made chips. We split a side of bacon which was outstanding- sweet and savory. We split the bread pudding for dessert. They serve Coke products. It’s BYOB. There’s a parking lot. They take reservations and are open for lunch and dinner. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. We’ve been several times and always had a wonderful meal and experience. At lunchtime, it seemed to be 80% women lunching but there were a few other couples enjoying a leisurely lunch.
Awesome restaurant! Food excellent - waiter great, knowledgeable and friendly. Price very fair and BYOB!
Superb service with Christina. Food, especially salmon cake special, quite delightful. Venue is also bright and cheerful.
Small so kitchen noise can be loud unless you're seated outside or away from the kitchen. Expensive for what it is. Im sure the rent is high so thats part of it but still. Chicken and waffles: Delicious with real maple syrup but only two tiny peices of chicken with hardly any meat on them. Expect about $30 per person for brunch which doesnt include alcohol.
I normally love this place, they have great food and good service. However, this time the service was awful. Was very unhappy that no one came to our table to ask how things were, and that I had to ask to have drinks refilled. Was very disappointed, and am not sure I'll return.
Lovely evening with the wall open to the patio allowing the breeze to filter in. Michael always makes us feel welcome. Feels like you are a guest at a private home. Very considerate of my dietary requests. Excellent, fresh, seasonal menu. And a BYOB! We have been coming for years and have never been disappointed!
Went for brunch, sat outside. Beautiful day, cute restaurant. The pancakes were ok. Maybe a little greasy and salty. Thought the waitress was kind of rude/lacking in social skills. Also, the hostess or manager had a long, drawn out cell phone call at the table right behind us which lasted about half the meal which was kind of annoying. Sounded like a personal call. Otherwise, wasn’t an unreasonably long wait for food or anything. Definitely not my first choice for all the places to eat in the area, but might consider giving this place another chance.
My husband of 51 years and I often choose Silverspoon for our date night! We had a lovely dinner on the patio this week I like the “tweaks” the chef made on the menu, to lighten the entrees with summer ingredients. Besides the food, the star of the show was Michael, our server. He’s delightful! The grand finale was the homemade donuts for desserts. And it’s a BY0–life is good😎
We have eaten here before and enjoyed it so we invited friends to join us one night. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and welcomed back. The atmosphere is very pleasant. There is outdoor seating also, but it was a little too warm for us so we opted for inside. Our waiter was terrific. He took the time to explain the menu and answer any questions we had regarding preparation, etc. Three people had the swordfish which they loved. I had the gnocchi which had been slightly toasted and prepared with fresh tomatoes and other fresh ingredients. Not a speck was left on anyone's plate which tells you how much we enjoyed our dinners. For dessert we had the chocolate truffles - utterly amazing. Very rich and one dessert can be easily shared. Looking forward to going back again as there were other dishes we want to try.
