The Silverspoon is a wonderful understated restaurant hidden in the Eagle Village shopping center in Wayne. It is a pretty restaurant. The tables are nicely spaced, which allows for quiet conversation. It is a BYOB. The menu is not large but is always creative and interesting. The food is well prepared and nicely presented. The service is outstanding: attentive, gracious, very professional. Our server, Michael, was fantastic. We look forward to returning soon!
Always great food, fresh and delicious. Friendly service. BYOB is a plus too!
Excellent food and service. Great value. I would recommended it to anyone
The prices were high for a shopping center BYOB. However, the portions were good.
I would like to see bread served, complimentary.
Beautifully prepared and presented meal. Fresh and delicious with very friendly service.
Met a friend here for lunch on the spur-of-the-moment. The weather was perfect and the food was superb, as was the service. It was one of the best impromptu occasions I've had in ages! Afterwards we poked around in the fun shops surrounding the restaurants and basked in the treasures inside and out. Good day!
Having moved out of the immediate area, I had not been to the Silverspoon in over three years. So glad to see that it has become very popular. Three wait staff at lunchtime, where there used to be 1 1/2. The food remains high quality, locally sourced, healthful, tasty, with interesting combinations. Too bad they don't serve Izzies any more, but the iced tea was delicious. Lunch portions were generous (no room for dessert).
I have been there many times but this was the first dinner. The food is excellent, and service was superb. It was tremendous value. I would recommend it to anyone.
Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch there yesterday. The food is always good, but the waiter who waited on us was exceptional. Friendly, enthusiastic, eager for you to enjoy your stay and your food, she was just a joy...The noise level is a bit "heavy," but all in all it was a lovely way to celebrate my friend's birthday. Keep up the good work!
Consistently good food, service and ambiance. And BYOB. A favorite!
Delicious food, friendly and prompt service, comfortable atmosphere, pleasant outside seating. I'll go again!
My guest and I each wanted to substitute lettuce or mixed fruit for the potatoes that were standard for the omelets and they asked for a $3.00 upcharge. The omlets arrived on a plate with no garnish and no potatoes- just a bare plate- absolutely no presentation!! We were the only partrons in the restaurant - our reservation was at 10:30am. Not a pleasant experience.
It was a little too hot to sit outside, but we loved having the French doors opened to the patio. So charming and inviting.
The Silver Spoon is always a good choice for quality food and good service. I think the brunches are priced at the high end for what you get, but the quality is excellent.
Fourth time here and every time is great
The only negative is the noise level, which is only a problem 'cause we are 3 old ladies!!!
GREAT restaurant! made a reservation for a special occasion with a group of 11 and they were very accommodating and even suggested a special menu. The group had a great time! Have dined there in the past and it is one of our favorite places to dine!
Sunday brunch at this establishment was excellent! My friend and I had the lobster roll, very delicious and my husband enjoyed the banana bread French toast. Shoutout for the amazing iced tea as well that includes orange and mint flavors. Can’t wait to try dinner here.
Expected a bit more if comparing to a city restaurant. But for the burbs it was ok. Wish the waitress was a bit more involved and the steak came sliced! And super small for the price. It seemed as though the steak was cut in half and then sliced into 4 small slices. ( disappointing ) ...
Great Service and Food!
Always a good meal. Ingredients are fresh and the menu is great.
I love this little gem. I have never been disappointed or had a bad meal. I can even bring a friend who uses a scooter. The seasonal menus using local ingredients always provides for variety every season.
A favorite! Wonderful meal, beautiful night with the patio doors open, and tremendous service. Wish they were open every night!
A true delight as always. Michael’s gracious and attentive care enriches an already wonderful experience. Come for the bacon, stay for the beignets!
Wonderful...beautiful day and the doors were open for outside dining. Delicious food!
Entree was lobster and gnocchi- lobster tasted like it had been frozen and over cooked - dry - gnocchi Was tasteless
Thanks I’ve been there several times, (I came in from Center City to dine with friends- my choice) however this meal would cause me to think long and hard about going back.
Thought it was strange they didn’t have a basic two eggs with potatoes and bacon on the menu. You could probably ask for scrambled eggs but 99.9% of brunch and breakfast spots have a two egg option. $8 for caramelized bacon was a ridiculous price to charge, in my opinion. I went with 4 other friends and we generally all liked our food. I ordered the Belgium waffle with berry compote, except the “compote” was basically just strawberries, raspberries and blueberries cut up. So, not technically a compote :) But overall was a very cute place and staff was nice.
Excellent brunch & great atmosphere. Accommodating to changes requested on the menu.
Excellent server. Great sandwiches - BLT and chicken salad. Room was a little loud, prob bc of tin ceiling. Nice outdoor dining area when weather is good.
Had a wonderful Mother's Day brunch at Silver Spoon. Service was outstanding, and food was delicious. Only suggestion would be to use less salt in the food.
The Silverspoon is consistently good. I’ve been going for years - brunch, lunch, and dinner. One of the nicest things is that they always remember you regardless of the time period between visits. The wait staff is professional and always really friendly and accommodating. The ambience is very nice - french brasserie style. It’s a relatively small place so be sure to make a reservation. The outside patio dining is great for brunch. It’s a BYOB and they are always accommodating with the correct glassware. The food is consistently delicious. Seasonal menu with some locally-sourced ingredients. Tastes homemade and not mass-produced restaurant fare. The Silverspoon has become a neighborhood staple - give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.
Great food and service. Only negative was noise level.
Silverspoon was the perfect choice for lunch on a glorious spring day, dining al fresco with just the right buzz. Silverspoon serves up carefully prepared brunch faves with a modern twist, featuring locally sourced ingredients. We were delighted and will be back.
First time but for lunch with a friend. Excited to return for dinner with my husband. Menu selection was fresh and a nice amount of choices. Tastes and presentation were excellent. Ate on patio and delightful ambience.
I may not even know some of the options available for good quality dining on many local ingredients and gf food...But I can attest to the wonderful salmon w/delicious crusty covering and accompanying vegetables. The dessert which was just the proper ending of not too sweet and just right. The fine and attentive service..the fun of being able to be outside if preferred (on some occasions ) and the lovely ambience of being inside (on some occasions)
All in all, a very good quality dinner and and very good setting and a very good server.
Thanks. Silver Spoon.
Pleasant brunch location with friendly attentive service and delicious food! Also Silverspoon was very clean, which is one of my pet peeves. Will definitely be back to try dinner!
The mushroom bisque - 9/10
Chicken and waffles - 9/10
Farmers Omelette - 9/10
I love Silver Spoon and go every time I want an excellent meal with outstanding service. In warm weather outside seating is delightful. Michael our waiter is attentive, friendly and one of our reasons for returning.
I just love this little gem of a restaurant. Food always is great and the service even better! The pepper bacon is the BEST anywhere and omelets are always light and delicious!!!
The waitress was pleasant but slow, too many tables. The lobster roll had about one ounce of lobster on it and it cost $17.00.
