The food is very good — a limited number of options, but everything is executed well. We never feel rushed, and the waiter Michael provides unparalleled friendliness and service.
I took two co-workers there for lunch. The restaurant is very nicely done and cozy. The wait staff was attentive and there were some good menu choices. It's a little loud and a bit cramped, but nothing that ruined our experience. I think their prices are about 20% too high. My arugula salad with grilled chicken, which had about 5 candied walnuts and 5 thin slices of pear, was $19. I think $15 would have been a fair price. I will only eat here if the company is paying the bill. The price, with tip, for a party of 3 was $71. The entrees were a salad, chicken salad and and omelette. Not exactly high-priced food. Bottom line -- good food, nice atmosphere and friendly wait staff, but overpriced for casual dining.
The truffle fries are not to be missed!
Always a great dining experience at Silver Spoon. The food is always fresh and delicious.
Wonderful!! The Mushroom Soup is one of the best. The Chicken and Waffles were great.
Very nice lunch!!
New Years two years in a row.
Had to wait 1/2 hour to be seated. We had 7:30 reservations but weren’t seated until 8. However the host offered and opened one of our bottles of wine while we waited.
The Silver Spoon is one of our favorite restaurants and while we may be a bit biased, the food and service have always been excellent. Our New Year's Eve meal was five courses selected by the chef. Each one put a smile on our face and left us disappointed that we couldn't go back for seconds. What stands out the most is the creative uses of flavors and textures to make each dish more interesting. The cured striped bass appetizer with citrus yogurt, uni, grapefruit and sunflower is just one example. The scallop and strip steak courses were cooked perfectly and matched with wonderful sides and sauces. Despite a full house and waiting customers, service was not rushed. Michael in particular and the wait staff overall always make us feel welcome and appreciated for selecting The Silver Spoon. If your experience fails to meet or exceed your expectations..let them know...they work hard to satisfy their customers. We'll obviously be back.
Our food was good as was our service. The restaurant itself felt that it catered towards an older crowd as was evidenced by our fellow diners, so we felt a bit out of place. We had a nice experience, would consider returning but not a definite for us.
Our server was not personable and removed my friend’s food before she was finished. We had to ask her to open our wine bottle and bring an ice bucket. We’ve been to your lovely restaurant a few times and have always enjoyed our visits. I wish this visit had been like the rest. Hopefully she will improve in the future.
Great restaurant with excellent food. Chef's creations were outstanding
Super fun -
Very fresh and well prepared
We were celebrating birthdays and they did a great job assisting us in celebrating! The food is consistently very good. Mostly healthy food but definitely some serious indulging items too (Truffle fries, Bacon that tastes like syrup).
Another great dining experience at The Silver Spoon.
Nice atmosphere, solid food and excellent service! Our server, Michael, was very attentive and knowledgeable. He does a great job explaining what goes in the various dishes!
The waitress was adorable...but the food was nothing special.
We love it there and it’s one of our favorite go-to’s as a BYO. Excellent food, service and atmosphere.
The food was excellent. The service and atmosphere were great! Loved it!!
As usual, good, sunny service (maybe a bit too sunny that early in the day), good food, warm welcome from owners and an overall good time!
The eggs with the crab were interesting and the chicken salad, a favorite. Beware- the French toast is definitely oversized!
Mushroom soup and the pork chop entree were fabulous. Our waiter Michael was great and please don't miss the fries and the desert donuts. Cozy spot and a great value BYOB.
The food is always consistent. I love our waiter Michael. We will be back.
very nice restaurant -- been there many times and have not been disappointed + BYOB and we tent to frequent BYOB since we like to bring our own wine for a dinner out
Love that it is BYOB. Everyone is so friendly, service is great and the food is incredible!
Food well prepared. Even the salad is special
I have had many excellent brunches at the Silverspoon and recently had another one. Our server was Jenna, who couldn’t have been nicer. Food was fantastic. I had the Farmer’s omelette and both friends had the chicken salad. All were delicious.
Enjoyed food, excellent service and the ability to bring my own wine. Prices were reasonable and the foid was terrific. Look foward to my next dinner at this neighbors jem.
The luncheon menu needs some updating.
I love this restaurant! Excellent food and service every time we come.
Silver Spoon is a sure bet for a nice lunch (dinner too!) It is one of our go to spots for a get-together to catch up. The food is amazing, and portions are perfect. The atmosphere is so nice, and comfortable such that you can enjoy conversation with friends. Highly recommend!!
What a wonderful neighborhood gem! Food can best be described as "fresh and flavorful!" I honestly never had a better, juicier seasoned burger than the wonderful grass fed selection. And, I would even come back just for the fabulous truffle fries or warm and sumptuous fresh made to order mini donuts!
I will be look forward to coming back!
It’s a once a year meeting place for a couple of cousins!
Always enjoy it! Love love love the bacon!!!!
I had a great lunch there. Wonderful selection on the menu. lol forward to trying dinner there.
The food and ambiance at Silverspoon are always terrific. The restaurant is quaint but lively and the food is delicious and beautifully presented. Always a good meal here.
Good food and the host was accommodating. The food took forever to come out. We were there way too long for brunch.
Get the chef's tasting menu. At $55/person for a 5-course meal, it's a steal. I think they have a limited number they do per night, so get an early reservation if this is your plan. My only complaint was there was one waiter who was unnecessarily loud, barking out the specials at top volume, which for a small dining room is quite unsettling. Get rid of this guy, he's killing the vibe...
Lovely dinner. The waiter is excellent but it was very busy and took quite some time for us to be served.
Michael was our waiter for these first-timers to this cute BYOB. Menu was awesome. Had the strip steak and it was awesome - came with some smoked goat cheese mashed potatoes which were excellent. My wife had the chicken, and she loved it as well. Not many tables so sign up early with reservations. Michael was totally service oriented and was excellent - we will definitely be back.
The noise in the restaurant made it impossible to hold a conversation. I would recommend the restaurant except for the noise level.
