First time at this restaurant and I made a note that we were celebrating a birthday without thinking much of it. We were immediately greated with a nice welcoming surprise. We had Monty as our waiter and he was exceptional. Very kind and patient. He alone would’ve given us a reason to go back. I don’t really write reviews, but this one had to be done. Very memorable meal and experience.
Excellent service , Lou was surgical , very professional server. I can't remember the last time i had a great server. Lou is old school, these days these kids are in a rush , rude and eager to receive a tip without really working for it.
Absolutely incredible. The food was great excellent. The service was exceptional. They made our anniversary a truly special and romantic evening.
Excellent service and food
The ambiance, service and food were all exceptional. The tuna steak was done perfectly and just melted in your mouth. It was a great place to have dinner before the theatre.
We like the Shore Club because it’s convenient to our work, you can always find a table, and the service is very attentive. The food is also very good; we would go here more often if it wasn’t so pricey. Dinner for 2 with a bottle of wine, and also buying a few drinks for friends came to almost $400, $450 with tip.
Very slow service
I loved my experience at Shore Club! It’s a must try for those who love food and dining experiences! I took my partner for a celebration, and it was both our first time there. The food was absolutely delicious, and all so beautifully plated and prepared. Service was incredible, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special! I haven’t stopped showing people our photos and recommending the restaurant. Can’t wait to come back!
Terrible. Such a disappointment, especially considering the price. Steaks were way too salty, lobster overcooked and dried out, flavour of the sauce for the scallops was just off. Desserts not worth it. Portions were generous and service was ok - only positive feedback. At this location and price point, expect a much higher quality food experience and they definitely did not deliver. We were there on a Monday night when it wasn't that busy so perhaps got stuck with less experienced cooks in the kitchen. On the bright side, the food was so below par that it made the evening even more memorable as four of us were there to celebrate a birthday - we just had to laugh at blowing over $600 on such a bad meal.
Good deal for oysters in the bar. Tower of seafood in restaurant also well executed.

Aghast to find that one of the oysters in the dozen we ordered was smaller than the tip of my pinkie finger. Clearly inadequate quality control of that dish in the kitchen.
It was okay, not the usual attentive service and great food I expect from the Shore club. We almost dined and dashed because our server forgot to bring us the bill and we had sat around talking for so long we got up to leave and realized we hadn’t paid. My steak was well done, they brought me a new steak and comped my meal and glass of wine which was great but overall, experience just okay. This is not the norm for this restaurant.
The Shore Club had a great ambiance, Oysters we amazing!! Seafood tower was very good and the mac and cheese did not did-appoint. Drinks were great and to top it off the Crème Brulee was perfect! The waiter, Jacob, was the perfect balance of attentive but gave us plenty of space to enjoy a romantic dinner and have a quiet conversation. Overall the experience was great and I will be back!
Great service, except the hostesses seemed to be a little uninterested. Everyone was so wonderful and attentive and we enjoyed our food very much! And we loved the special details made for us since it was our anniversary that made our night a little extra special! Would highly recommend to someone and we will also be back again, we want to try the seafood tower next time!
Food was good but I wouldn't say it was outstanding and worth the high prices. Service was excellent and the ambiance is very romantic and quiet. Vegetables were an extra cost too. For the prices you are paying they should at least include some vegetables. Be prepared to pay at least $100 per person if you want a cocktail, appetizer, entree, dessert and wine with dinner.
Already recommended to a friend. Very impressed by the service. The portions were shockingly perfect. Love the menu!
Fantastic steak and super vibe, great service, I would highly recommend and will return for oysters during the week.....
Had to send 1 course back twice for not being according to specific instructions given while ordering. A third course was kept, but not according to the description given by the waiter. (crispy skin salmon dish came ... with no skin at all!)
This is unacceptable for a restaurant such as this one.
Altogether, though, the rest of the food was very tasty, and the management was fair in comp'ing all unsatisfactory items...
A very bad impression made on our business dinner, nonetheless! I wouldn't recommend this place.
We decided to sit in the lounge area instead of the dining room. The lounge was much quieter and comfortable than the dining area appeared to be since it was quite busy during the time we went.
I tried ordering oysters, but the kitchen had run out, so I was a little disappointed by that. For dinner, we ordered the filet mignon and the lamb chops with sides of grilled mushrooms and roasted broccoli. The fillet was great, perfectly medium rare, but the lamb chops (total of 6 sliced in portions of 2) were all different temperatures. The first chop was rare, the second was medium rare, and the last was almost a medium well. Aside from the temperatures being off, the food was seasoned well.
Service was nice, our waitress was very patient and came to check on us multiple times through our dining experience.
We went to the Shore Club for my husband’s birthday and we are SO glad that we did. The ambience from the moment you walk in sets the mood. It is stylish, warm and inviting.
We got seated and they left a lovely handwritten card on the table for him - we were shocked. And then they brought us each a glass of bubbly to celebrate his day - this was over and beyond.
The service - like nothing we have experienced in Toronto. The food ... amazing. The evening was perfect and we are eager to set our next special date night there. Don’t hesitate to reserve a table, you will not be disappointed.
5 hour mediocre dinner, and we got over cooked steak and undercooked broccoli

Do not recommend this place to anybody because the food is not that great and service is way to slow
The Shore Club did a stupendous job making me feel special on my birthday. From complimentary champagne and desserts to a hand written card, a birthday girl can't ask for much more. The service was remarkable, not once did we feel rushed or pressured. The food came out hot and tasty, and the wine and cocktails were delectible.
Lou was our server. He was great!

I had a great time at The Shore Club this past weekend, I had guests who were running late and the staff were very accommodating, ensuring that we were all taken care of and everyone was able to order before the kitchen closed. Such a great way to spend my birthday! My server was great, and special shout-out to Kyle for being a doll! With the weather warming up I just know this restaurant will be my new summer spot! Outstanding evening. Two generations at dinner and something for everyone. Service was outstanding and some great gems on the wine list!

Great overall experience. But our waiter was too uptight made me feel like I don’t really belong here or that he is extremely serious about his job. Little weird about it. Would definitely go back once again.
Loved the design and space. Fabulous art. Service was slow. Short ribs were full of fat. The waiter took the order off the bill which was to be expected.
Came back for the seafood platter. Excellent variety and taste. Top notch friendly service. We were in a semi enclosed booth ... great privacy. Reasonably priced. Will definitely dine here more often.

Nice ambiance, adequate menu and wine list, excellent service. Either with or without a reservation you're taken care of with a smile and all does nice and smoothly. Food was very good, but the cheesecake was hard and far from being as good as our excellent waiter announced. Since we were in a hurry, we did not take the time to make comments on the spot, but leftovers can be an indication of non-appreciation. BTW, their exclusive draft beer was very good and overall the restaurant is pretty good. Having a weekly lunch-menu, however, with a 3 course meal, could be an improvement.
I had a seafood chowder followed by a steak salad for a lunchtime meal. The seafood chowder had excellent flavor, but was primarily potato and no seafood that I could find. The steak salad was good, the steak also had great flavor, but was 50% bone and gristle, really a poorly cut steak. The first time I have had a bone in steak with a steak salad. Overall, I won't rush back, nor will I order these items should I return.
The overall dinner was good and enjoyable. Sean waited our table phenomenally the entire night. Very attentive and smooth, definitely knew what he was doing.
Very disappointed with the initial point of contact. A lot of unnecessary confusion and time wasted. Turned us down for a table in person, but we managed to book a table online, just a mess. Hopefully this improves.
Great birthday dinner for my wife. I appreciated the little touches (ie card wishing my wife happy birthday by name when we sat down, bubbles on the house, and more). Service was attentive and our waiter brought a strong attitude. Good job.
