Great night out. Waiter was excellent food was great. Stayed after dinner in the bar area and enjoyed great live music. I would recommend this place to everyone.
Great restaurant. Service is top notch. Seafood dishes are a specialty and highlt recommended.
overall excellent but $50 for a fatty rib bone in steak was a bit much. More of a concern with selling a cheap steak in such a fine establishment than the cost. Better places to have steak downtown.
Leo provided great Service and the fish & chips were wonderful!
Amazing service and great atmosphere. Food was delicious but a little pricey for what you got.
The service was extremely slow - we came early to have a relaxing dinner, about 5:45 pm because we had TSO tickets and wanted to leave by 7:20 pm but were still rushed as our main course did not get to our table until after 7 pm. Otherwise, it was good food and friendly service, just not timely.
Food and service was fabulous...highly recommend!!!!!
Valentine’s day dinner
Amazing, quick and attentive !!!!
Sean, our server, was amazing. He was knowledgeable and attentive. The rest of the staff were welcoming as well. The food was delicious and my husband and I enjoyed ourselves immensely. It was pricey so we wouldn't go regularly but for a special occasion I would definitely recommend.
First time at the Shore Club and it was a great experience! Everyone was very nice and welcoming, from the receptionist to the servers to the manager. We were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and the staff gave recognition to that, which we appreciated! Our server, Sean was very nice throughout the entire night! Very pleased with his service! We were not disappointed and will definitely return!
Seafood Platter is the BEST! I crave it on a daily! Super cute place and amazing staff
First timer to have Valentine's dinner at The Shore Club
Have the Smoked Pork Belly & Scallop for App, great choice. Try out the Winterlicious menu for myself, lobster bisque was great, not too salty. Added the Grilled Tiger Shrimp to the Manhattan Steak make the dish complete and balanced. The Tiramisu was tasteful and not too sweet. My wife has the Bone-In Rib Steak, was a bit over cooked for a medium rare, but it's soft enough and not require to send it back to the kitchen. She has the Butter Tart for dessert, great flavour from the rum along with the vanilla ice cream.
Overall, it's a great Valentine's dinner for both of us and appreciate the professional service from Jacob. Well done. Will consider to go back and try something else in the future.
Everything was amazing , food presentation was nice and just enough. Waitress was attentive and prompt
It’s a nice place in the heart of Toronto downtown. The food isn’t as great as this kind of authentic restaurants should be. For example the dessert - Tiramisu is over soaked, which is not a joyful thing for the tastebuds.
Food was great. Service was pretty good - the only thing was that there was a long time span between ordering and first course but then pretty quick for next two courses.
Very bad experience, food had no salt and instead of an apology we were explained how there could have been more salt
For a 12:15 table food arrived at 1:05 - after asking.we had to skip the dessert course from Winterilicious menu
Server seemed to have a chip for some reason - when we asked for our food his question was “ do we need to be somewhere at a certain time”
Poor experience and will not come back. I entertain a fair bit at other downtown restaurants like Bymark, Canoe, Cactus etc have never had this kind of experience. My client had the exact same feelings. This is not good publicity for Shore Club
As usual this is one of the best restaurants in Toronto. The food is always top quality - I had the chicken club sandwich with a caesar salad - and the service is 5-Star all the way. It's a great option for business lunch and you will not be disappointed for a special dinner night out.
They found us a quiet table where we were able to enjoy conservation. There was no rush. Happy hour ran all Saturday, what a treat. We had a casual drink and then ordered from the “Winterlicius Menu” which was lovely.
Went for winterlicious and loved it. The service was absolutely stellar, the food was simple but very well done. The decor is classic and elegant giving a lovely ambiance. I definitely will be going back! The lounge had an awesome happy hour too
The service and friendliness of the staff was spectacular. We felt welcome and very comfortable. Actually one of the nicest environments of any restaurant I've been in.
Unfortunately, that's where the good ends. You eat out for the experience, and the food is paramount to a good experience. The winterlicious menu was $53, for lobster bisque, steak and desert. The bisque was actually very good, and had no trouble enjoying that. The steak was precut and served on a bed of mashed potatoes, with some green vegetables (kale). The steak lacked seasoning and was overcooked, and almost a bit dry - we asked for medium rare, but it was close to medium or well done. The mashed potatoes were also generic and lacked flavour. The temperature wasn't ideal either - lukewarm at best.
I was really hoping to enjoy this restaurant and have a special experience. The service lived up to that expectation, but the food was a serious disappointment.
This was my first time here. My lady friend and I both ordered from the Winterlicious menu and we were both a little disappointed. However, our server was very friendly, we did like the restaurant decor, and the booth we sat at was somewhat soundproof which kept the overall noise level to a minimum.
As always, terrific service and fabulous food. The only downside is the noise level.
Another exceptional dining experience at a restaurant that is truly top tier. The service is exemplary and we thoroughly enjoyed the Winterlicious menu. If you are looking for a dining experience that has a touch of class and where the pace is refined this is the restaurant for you. Vanessa and Jacob thanks for enhancing our evening at The Shore Club.
Went as a team lunch (11 people) to try winterlicious menu. They really keep up with the quality even during Winterlicious.
Food was awesome as usual. Had salmon and it was so fresh that the meat itself was sweet. Their key lime pie is the best housemade keylime pie you can have in Toronto. Everyone really enjoyed it and had all good things to say about what they had. The service was awesome and super professional. It was really neat to see the classic serving style - the servers came out in a straight line with two dishes per person and put dishes down at the same time, making sure everyone was getting food at the same time. The food came out bit slow probably because they were trying to serve everyone's food at once. We talked to the server and got our dessert really fast as everyone had to go back to the office.
Very enjoyable lunch, good ambience and professional guests around. The food was delicious and our waiter (Lou) the best! It seems that all 6 of us, enjoyed spending sometime there and enjoying a good conversation, tasty food, dessert and coffee. Till the next time......
The Shore Club is a Winterlicious participating restaurant. The meals offerred were well thought out to appeal to all tastes. The grilled salmon (which I chose) was perfectly done, as were the accompanying vegetables. A splendid key lime pie was my dessert choice. Exceptional service in a refined business atmosphere. Well worth a visit.
We did the winterlicous menu so was a great value
Nice presentation of all dishes
First time at the Shore Club, enjoyed it immensely . Our server was Monte and he was exceptional
First time at The Shore Club and truly loved the ambiance of the restaurant. The Winterlicious menu was delicious but I wouldn't say memorable. However, I just might return to try their seafood tower. The restaurant was busy when we arrived but the sound acoustics were perfect. I had no trouble hearing my dinner mate and didn't have to speak up to keep the conversation going. Seating was perfect, lighting was perfect and service was excellent. Definitely will return.
Had a great time. Monty was our server and fantastic We went to the bar later that night as well. Rob was fantastic. Would go back for sure and we had an outstanding time.
Great Winterlicious experience. I’m a regular customer but this experience was good too.
Great dry aged steak! Stellar service.
Great wine list
A restaurant that thinks it’s acceptable to cancel a reservation without calling is a restaurant I won’t patronize. I will not recommend this place to anyone.
A convenient pre-concert restaurant for Roy Thomson Hall and the Mirvish King St theatres. The best value is the bar food but the main dining room offers many options though focused on steaks. The menu signals its high end ambitions by flagging the mains come unaccompanied so order extra vegetable sides. But an early lighter supper can be created from the wide appetizer selection. Our most recent experience in the main dining room offered excellent service by all the wait staff. Even offered to store any doggy bag until the concert's end (no food allowed in the concert hall).
The seafood dishes were good but both steaks were over cooked. The service was amazing. Over all it was a good experience. Me not liking seafood and the fact that both steaks were over cooked I personally won't be back.
It was a nice time at the restaurant. With good food.
We've been here before. Each time the food has gotten better. This time I couldn't fault anything. All up, we had a great night. The service couldn't have been better. Our server Frank, was both attentive but also gave us space to enjoy ourselves.
My third visit proved to be my last. I had informed them when I arrived at 5:20 that I had symphony at 7:30. My main did not arrive until 6:50 which I then had to wolf down in order to get to the venue with time to spare. It was not busy, there were several empty tables.
I ordered a glass of wine but was charged for a whole bottle. When I pointed out the error he said "you were on the bottle page". No, I pointed to the price per glass. Then I was charged for a large glass. I did not consume a large glass and was finally charged $22, the correct price. Little old ladies do not order bottles of wine, especially before a concert. If he was unsure... ask.
The lobster bisque would have been wonderful had it not been for the heat which overpowered the delicate fish and burnt a hole in my upper g.i. track for the remainder of the evening. The main was swimming in herb butter which was cloyingly, again overpowering. In my gastronomic book; strike one and you are out.
The only up side; the Whiskey Sour was fabulous. Too bad I won't be having another.
