Evoking intimate entertaining spaces of New York's pre-war apartment residences – We serve delicious, simple food that changes with the time of year and is dictated only by what's fresh and at the height of its season. Our Midtown Manhattan restaurant's dinner menu proudly features items from out of the city farms and purveyors of New York State for field greens, wild arugula, heirloom tomatoes, chicken and pork that go into rustic plates. Enrich your dinner experience with international wines selected from small "boutique" vineyards. The restaurant features a large communal table facing 5th avenue. The perfect gathering place for a glass of wine at the end of the day.

Open toast with avocado and poached eggs and cilantro was delicious and I'd go back any day for that breakfast/brunch dish. The seats are super uncomfortable however. You can't sit close enough to the table so you are forced to teeter on the edge of the chair or lean way forward to eat. Seems whomever designed the decor never sat down to actually eat.
Incredibly slow service. Very small restaurant and our waiter seemed to have multiple jobs that kept him from taking our order as we sat with empty drinks. I finally asked the hostess to take our order. Food was very good but a 2 hour dinner is not needed in this place.
Also hostess told me i was not in the system. I showed her my opentable confirm and she quickly found me. She was never rude but also not very warm or apologetic about the situation.
