   Really friendly, accommodating staff who made us feel welcome. We were lucky enough to be seated in the snug which is almost like a private dining experience. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for the food was simply down to availability, as we dined later in the day (3pm) the selection was limited but what we did have was excellent. We will be returning at some point.

   This is the third visit and we have been very happy on each visit. It is a delightful way to end a walk around the lake. Will definitely be back again as always impressed.

   Great spot for a family meal. Loved the homemade bread and great options for kids. Nice busy atmosphere and helpful smiley staff. A little chilly with the front door kept open but other than that no complaints.

   The Seymour Arms has that little extra something to make any occasion special. It is a good place to go to meet up with friends, business colleagues or for that special romantic evening. The food is excellent, imaginative, beautifully presented and delicious. The staff are always welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. If you want to watch your figure and not have the chips with your steak they will happily change them for new potatoes - with no butter! Then you can enjoy one of their amazing desserts guilt free!

   On entering the restaurant were acknowledged immediately and not left at the bar .We were shown to our table and given the menu to browse with our drinks.We ordered and we're served prompt and our meals were lovely. We were on our way to the Algarve and this was a stop over before our flight. We would definitely use this restaurant again.Thanks.

   Superb service, attentive without being pushy. Excellent starters and mains (too full for dessert) and good choice of real ale and wine. We stayed two nights. Rooms were lovely, very clean and well presented. Breakfast was outstanding, with staff happy to mix and match, giving different options to standard menu. Lovely part of the country, only wish that we did not live two hundred miles away or we would definitely visit, eat and drink more often. Well done, would recommend to young, old, couples, families and people with dogs.

   We often eat at the Seymour and the meals are without fail, of a high standard and really delicious. The staff are friendly, attentive and knowledgable. It's a lovely restaurant to visit. We also appreciate the fact that it is dog friendly as its a great place to call in for lunch after a good dog walk. The Sunday lunch we had recently - roast beef was super, as was the lobster and ling bisque we started with. I also recommend the mille feuille with rhubarb!

   Great service, friendly staff, nice food, good value for money. Nice atmosphere and clean and tidy throughout. Dog friendly and child friendly too.
