Moms’ 65 Birthday ! Amazing everything !
The Settler’s Inn never disappoints! Great ambiance, attentive and friendly staff, and delicious locally-derived ingredients. Definitely worth the splurge for a special occasion!
Stayed at Settler's Inn and ate at the restaurant for a romantic dinner. The food was quite good, particularly the French onion soup and the wild boar Bolognese. The server was attentive, despite it being rather crowded.
It was our Golden Anniversary party and couldn’t have picked a better restaurant . Food, ambience (even had piano music) and above all the hospitality and service ... were all wonderful from the moment we walked in to the end of the evening.
Always excellent! Very nice atmosphere and wonderful service.
This is the second time my wife and I had dinner and next -day breakfast at the Settlers Inn.
The food is very good, the service is outstanding, the environment cozy and inviting and I believe it is a very good value. The live piano player made the meal a truly memorable experience. We would return again without hesitation.
As always the Settlers Inn didn't disappoint. Came a bit early so we could have drinks by the fire. Great ambiance. 2 of us had the Old Fashioned drink special garnished with a maple glazed bacon and it was excellent. 4 of us shared the Ode to Duck appetizer special and one of my favorite standby appetizers (Blooming Grove Smoked Trout). Both were excellent. Everybody enjoyed the main courses and we finished it by sharing 2 great desserts. The wait staff was great as always!
As always, The Settlers Inn was delicious. We had a lovely drink from the bar by the roaring fire and then proceeded to a fantastic table. There was literally something for everyone on the menu - and a willingness to make some slight modifications based on dietary needs. So good. And the atmosphere is great - quaint and classic.
We had a wonderful brunch to celebrate my aunt's birthday. Everything was wonderful even though the service was a little slow. The restaurant is beautiful with its mission style.
As much as I hate to say it, the food was disappointing and mediocre; pasta was quite under cooked (billed as al dente) and really the food did not thrill or sing. However, the salad under the chicken was very fresh and excellent. One might not be as nit-picky if the food served was in line with the cost (although that is no excuse). Beer was overpriced although it did not prevent us from each having a #. Ambience and signature birdseed bread as always was pleasing and little quince jelly appetizers were delightful and a tease.
