Excellent service and ambiance
Love this place. So classy and quaint. Great atmosphere and food. Staff is friendly and kind. Highly recommend a visit there while in the Poconos.
Food was just okay. The filet was only average. Not sure i’ll
We had a wonderful dinners and excellent ambience far our 15th year wedding anniversary! Thank you so much!!
The food is unique and very good. Wait staff prompt and helpful. Live piano music playing was nice. It was a little noisier than usual but it was Father's Day and there were families enjoying the day. We had a good experience.
Our server Dan was professional and gracious. We found, however, that the breakfast menu was quite limited and the food quite mediocre. This is an unfortunate change from our experiences here over the past seven years. We were in the habit of bringing our out of town guests to this lovely restaurant; doubt that we will do so in the future.
My wedding anniversary. Waiter was great-friendly, attentive.
It was disappointing. Have been there before and it was great. This time, sat down for an 8:00 reservation and did not receive our dinner until 9:30. Very slow. Food was so so. Steak was not good at all. Slow with the drink service. Our waiter, Connor, was very nice. Not his fault.
We absolutely love love love your restaurant and Inn. It has become our special "go to" place for nice occasions. The food last evening was outstanding and the Rioja wine we had was fantastic! We just love Settler's Inn! We will be back :)
Wonderful and relaxing dinner. We were so happy to be able to eat outside overlooking the gardens. We both had the chicken entree and it was delicious! For dessert, the sticky toffee pudding was incredible. The waiter was attentive and let us enjoy a very leisurely dinner and bottle of wine. They even treated us to a champagne toast for our anniversary. We ate breakfast here as well- the bacon, eggs and home fries were also delicious! This restaurant is on the more traditional side- their sister property is the Ledges Hotel. The restaurant there is called Glass- it is also fantastic- it specializes in tapas and has a more modern vibe and a nice location by a waterfall. We will return! Highly recommend!
Arriving at the Settlers Inn we were welcomed with smiles and professionalism. The reservations were in their computer system and were seated within a minute. Overall the service was great and the food as well.
Some of the food wasn't served warm enough and my trout was a bit too salty, but on the whole, everything tasted great, especially the chocolate mousse cake special. Beautiful setting and the staff was most attentive.
excellent food. good experience. excellent service
Beautiful inn, on lovely grounds, with delicious, farm-to-table food. Gracious, non-intrusive service, a decent cellar, and excellent regional brews on tap.
Brunch was very good. Portions were very generous and quality of food was excellent. Only issue was the brunch menu was very limited in comparison to year's past. If I recall there were only 4 items to select from.
Excellent! First time there with friends and everything was great between service and hospitality! Highly recommend this to anyone.
We always enjoy the Settler’s Inn. We had lunch there this time. The French Onion Soup and the trout were fantastic.
Beautiful in and outside dining. Fire pit in the back to sit around after eating in the summer. Gorgeous gardens.
Charming restaurant, excellent food. One of our favorites!
Fabulous meal and excellent atmosphere and service 😃
Very nice dinner experience—nice ambiance, and everything was delicious. The radish appetizer and French onion soup were especially good, as were the cocktails and dessert. Attentive, friendly service, and we really enjoyed the piano music.
Great atmosphere. Food was good but over priced for the quality i would expect more out of a 46 dollar steak.
We love to eat at Settlers. The service, food and Settlers itself make it a wonderful experience.
Awesome but the breadth of the menu could use improvement
Poor selection of entrees, you do not choose the side dish for your meat selection. Wine is limited selection and very pricey. Went there early and was the 2nd one there. Dessert options limited also. So very disappointed in everything. Will no go there again.
Beautiful place, excellent service, and fabulous food!
We love going to the settlers inn or special occasions. Food is creatively prepared and of best quality. Always delicious. Beautiful gardens to enjoy after dinner and the bar is a special place to have before dinner drink. You won’t be disappointed coming here. Brunch is delicious too
Ambiance is amazing. Food is just ok. Sat in the outdoor deck, service was good.
Wouldn’t go out if my way to eat there. It’s nice to visit on occasions.
Very limited menu.
Let me start by saying we love Settlers Inn, we make it a point to eat here every time we’re in the area. We had the French onion soup, Filet mignon and the delicious English toffee cake for dessert, recommended by our waiter. The dessert was probably one of the best we’ve ever had. We sat out on the patio overlooking the beautiful gardens. The service and food is always exceptional. Our only complaint would be the table next to us had two dogs both seated up at the table and the gentleman were feeding them food off their plate and letting them drink right from the water glasses. I find this unacceptable, this is a fine dining establishment, you are not in the privacy of your own home. People should be respectful and leave their pets at home. I am surprised Settlers Inn would even allow pets. I’m sorry but not everyone wants to hear your dog yipping and not everyone wants to eat with your pets. Now there is dog hair on the seat cushions for the next guest...GROSS!! Also having them up at the table drinking and eating off dishes that another guest will eat off of, I find this disgusting and extremely disrespectful. Yes, I know they will wash the dishes but still. I hope Settlers Inn rethinks their pet policy for their restaurant, in order to make it a pleasant dining experience for all.
Wonderful experience. Great service. Beautiful venue. Outstanding drinks. Tasty food.
Fantastic service in the dining room and the bar. Loved the wine flight in particular and the crudités.
Our entire experience was very good! The only thing was the very limited menu
The Settlers Inn was absolutely outstanding. Everyone in our group of 5 found the food to be exceptional. One person said it was the best dinner she had ever had in her life. (She ordered the chicken.) Others at our table enjoyed pork tenderloin, trout and crispy tofu. Service was attentive without being intrusive. The prices for this high-caliber restaurant were very reasonable. I had to double-check the bill to make sure they hadn't forgotten to charge us for something. It was a wonderful experience. I can hardly wait to go back to The Settlers Inn.
Food, service, and ambiance were top-notch, as always.
We have been dining here for years, and never had a bad experience.
Extremely disappointing experience. Although our party of four was seated promptly (we reserved a table in advance) and our order for coffees and food were taken by our waiter, no one brought us coffees after waiting 35 minutes. Others parties seated after us were served coffee and food. After pointing out to our waiter and the restaurant host twice that we were still waiting for at least coffee, we left without coffee or food after 55 minutes.
I would highly recommend this to others. Just the bread was dry and not appealing at all. Everything else was awesome and we don't need the bread anyway!
Great food! Amazing ambiance. Fantastic service. Highly recommended!!
Can’t beat the Tuesday night Burger and Brew for $10.00. You’ll need a reservation but it’s worth it!
