Very small portions. Over priced.
Great food, unique organic healthy takes on traditionl fare. The restaurant uses cauliflower and yucca to replace rice and potatoes to give you great taste with a healthier meal. Fresh seafood and fish good beef and chicken! Great wine list to compliment you meal and innovative and delicious deserts.
The Seahorse is an upscale restaurant with interesting and delicious food. The decor is lovely. The service is attentive but would be better if the servers knew who got what food.
Time to close up shop, Fashion Cuisine folks. Haven't had a good meal at The Sea Horse in the past year. We have tried, thinking, "it's an off night". But every time? Good bye!
Although the food was good, and we were able to sit outside, I left hungry. The portions were very small and the prices were high. I thought my lobster was a bit overcooked .
Service was not what we had in the past
Did not bring all meals at the same time for all diners
Brunell sprouts salad was very good- highly recommend
Tuna asked for sushi style came out slightly over cooked
Grilled scrimp very hard to remove shell
Quite surprising to find such a restaurant. Gourmet dining, quite excellent.
Very expensive, but for customized food preparation, I guess that can be justified.
Will be a special occasion place for us, rather than regular dining, unfortunately.
Best ever. The manager is awesome. We love coming for the food service and the manager.
Sadly, a year ago this was our favorite but it has gone way down hill and is very overpriced for what you get. No wonder they are closed for luncheon. Someone isn't paying attention as last year they served lunch and the food was always good. There are far better places to dine in Wellington now and not as overpriced as this.
Nice people but angry lobster was overpriced
Mojito was nothing special
Would still return
Food is good but extremely overpriced. $44 for branzino is a bit ridiculous.
The food was average for what it cost to eat there. Expected it to be a really nice restaurant. We don't mind spending money on a nice dinner but the food was not even that good- portions were extremely small. We also found raw fish in our food they told us it was tomatoes but there were no tomatoes in the dish. Not impressed and will not return.
Went for Valentine's Day..... we ordered light meals and it was 2 1/2 hours before our meal arrived.... we think the chef was in the kitchen working alone :-(
Service was so slow, I waited over 45 minutes for a drink and the appetizer took another hour....main came out first and then it was taken back to go "under the heat lamp". Portions are tiny. Not a well stocked bar either
We went for Valentine's Day. The restaurant was completely full & appeared to be understaffed. The wait staff tried hard but couldn't keep up.
The food was average, the service was sub-par. It was really hot...the air conditioning must have been turned up to 78 degrees. I requested twice they turn it down, because everyone at our table was sweating.
I had branzino. It was a la carte, with a garnish on top, at a whopping $44.00! Bland.
Wait person forgot to bring drink order and request for salt and pepper. Not good for such an expensive restaurant!
Steak and seafood were very good. Sides okay. Sat outside and it was very pleasant.
Convenient self parking to start. Perfect outside seating. Attentive service with top quality meal and wine. We will return and hope for the same seating and quality wine, food and service. We will return.
The salad was overpriced. It came with no dressing and had to ask the waiter for some. Tasted very bitter. Steak was ok but didn't care for the side dishes. Not enough variety.
We came here for dinner and had expected ok but came away with something more. The Seahorse is an outstanding restaurant from beginning to end. When we arrived we where greeted in a professional manner and given some seat selections and made to feel comfortable at once. When our waiter arrived he again continued with the same level of professionalism and it continued throughout the evening.
All of the dishes where nicely presented and tasted much better than most of the food we find in this area. The preparation and flavors indicate that the chef really cares about what he sends out to the customer.
I would highly recommend The Seahorse to anyone looking for good food at a fair price.
We went with friends and where pleasantly surprised at this restaurant. The food was very interesting and inventive while not being pretentious. The staff was excellent! We strongly recommend that you dine here if in the Wellington area.
Very good! Very consistent! Not very busy which was surprising for season! Entree Prices are a bit high! Fish and chips $29 for two pieces of fish and chips it was good, however, I feel that the prices are to high
we always enjoyed dining here and never been disappointed.
Loved the food! Devon was wonderful, a perfect server. This was our second visit and will definitely return.
I'm a spoiled Manhattanite, so food is a big deal and I am hugely picky. Same with my cocktail--I don't drink much but when I do a want a Margarita on the rocks, salt rim, housemade sourmix, no orange liqueur, not sweet but not acidy either, shaken super well with a foamy top. Nina the bartender outdid herself meeting all of the above and my expectations.
I also wanted a crudo menu--the oysters were outstanding with a variety of mignonette sauces, and the tuna tataki and snapper crudo were excellent!
I give the Seahorse highest marks on all counts.
The service and the food were perfect. The ambience was lovely and it was lovely and quiet.
I love the staff at The Seahorse. They're very nice and caring. We are frequent diners there. I wish more people knew about how great they are!
Very disappointing service. Sat waiting for third guests meal to arrive for well over 5 minutes after our 2 meals were served
Food was mediocre at best and not worth the amount charged
Will not go back
Expensive for portion size. Food very good. Wait staff needs more professionalism.
Very good food with nice waitress. She saw to it that our food requests (one non gluten and one sodium free were taken of accurately. Will return soon.
Been to Seahorse many times. The owner greets guests as friends. Everyone is made to feel welcome. The food is incredible as is the presentation. the staff is knowledgeable and proficient. always a pleasure to dine there.
Just not up to what we had expected from prior experience. Service adequate, skill of the kitchen folks was just workmanlike, not producing great flavor experience. Sorry to see the slacking off.
Nice option in Wellington although not sure the food quite justifies the premium prices, not that it's bad but the prices are similar to very well known palm beach restaurants. Service very friendly and ambiance is good.
Very disappointed with steak skewers. Too pricey for what I got. Won't be returning
Had a great dinner... All dishes were excellent. And Allison provided great service.
My friends and I each enjoyed the 4 course tasting menu. Loved the tuna tartar, the Brussels sprouts Caesar, the quinoa salad and the curry bowl. Best food in a long time!
Genesi, our waiter was great! Changed the silverware for every course, refilled glasses and had a funny sense of humor! We will all be back soon.
Great, delicious food. Appetizing & artistic presentation.
Just a little too expensive for everyday dining.
Another wonderful meal. They keep getting better. We are looking forward to our next dining experience
Our dining experience was ruined due entirely to a table of about six guest who were exceedingly loud and obnoxious. They had absolutely no regard for the other diners at the restaurant. We should have complained but I feel it's management's obligation to do something about guests that obviously have little regard for anyone else.
Wonderful food, fine service.
We are coming back!
