We wanted to eat outside, but the chairs were very uncomfortable so we moved inside to one of the banquets. Unfortunately, my. Husband ended up sitting on the crack between the seat cushions. The noise level prevents any ability to engage in conversation. On a positive note, the shrimp wonton soup is delicious. The main courses were just ok.
Can't beat the service, quality and value of The Sea Asian Kitchen. The both times we have been to the restaurant, we qualified for the early bird menu. We were able to try some new dishes along with ordering a variety of items enough for a filling meal. The house wines are very good, too, especially if you are not a wine aficianado.
Solid restaurant but they just plain rush you...no time for ambience, no time for conversation, they make it plain that they want you in and out so they can turn the table...you do not DINE, you chow down and eat and for what it costs thats not what you would expect
Good as always
We very much enjoyed the food. Restaurant is crowded with tables close together, service was very good. Happy hour prices until 6 PM make it more reasonable, but the regular prices are high. Sushi was very fresh and well prepared.
Food is always good and staff is pleasant. They do a very good job of honoring reservations.
Large varied menu. Good food and service. Very enjoyable.
The Sea has consistently excellent food and lovely service. Meals are made with high quality ingredients and beautifully presented. Always a pleasure to dine there.
Very lovely outdoor area. Accommodating staff. Yummy food with lots of options. Enjoyable!
extremely noisy inside. outside service terrible, food was cold and 2 meals arrived and 10 minutes later next 2 meals arrived, all cold for hot food. outside should be closed off on far end because take outs and finished people push you to squeeze out instead of going out the front.
6 pm reservation honored upon arrival. tables were on top of each other but our neighbors were pleasant. dinner was delicious. however... twice the waitress came to ask me if i was finished with food on my plate and fork in hand. the third time i told her i was finished and my plate cleared and check plopped down. was not asked if i wanted dessert or another cocktail. as i am finishing my drink the hostess came over and told us she needed the table for customers who were waiting and we needed to get up NOW. this was 1 1/2 hours after arriving and 2 minutes after check was paid. i was clearly finishing my drink and she stood over us and said again that we had to leave. left 2 messages for the manager with no return phone calls. i will NOT return.
I have eaten here many times through the last few years, whenever I am in the Boca area. This was a 6 PM appointment and we were taken immediately. Our meal began well with delicious soup. The spicy Tuna roll was not spicy and it was mushy. I expected a solid piece of Tuna. I think it should me described as minced. Our Shore dinners seemed a little less flavorsome than usual. I hope the quality is not going down as we loved all of their restaurants since we first discovered the tiny store front that is now The Ramen Laboratory which we hope to try in the near future. We have always enjoy Lemon Grass too.
This is the fourth time I have been here the food continues to be excellent.
Good selection of Asian cuisine- Thai, sushi, various Asian stir fry
Nice decor- good food , presentation and service
Food is always consistent and the service as well.
Good neighborhood place to go to.
The restaurant was very crowded and noisy. They gave us a small table toward the wine cabinet and the waiters and people kept walking past the table. We finally told them we wanted another table or we would leave. They did give us another table as soon as it was available.
Excellent cuisine. Matt is a great server!
We go to the SEA often. The food is good and presented nicely.
I would highly recommend it. The service is very good and the
wait people are helpful in recommending dishes.
We frequent this restaurant, and they’re consistently good in regard to the food and service. The only complaint is they pack you in where you’re within a foot of the adjoining tables thereby completely losing any privacy you would need even for a simple conversation, let alone any intimate chat.
Good food seated in about 10 min.of our reservation(good) but service TOO fast.seemed like wanted us to finish and leave.Didnt have coffee on menu. Meal taken and served and eaten in under 1 hour. No one waiting for table after finished meal. Why the rush? Entree served while still eating appetizer.1St time there but next time ask them to slow down. Will return because food very good and fair priced.
We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was at the table promptly. He was courteous and able to answer our questions about the menu. The presentation was nice and the food was very good.
I think the food is very good here. The presentation is lovely and It is moderately priced.
As far as Asian / Sushi goes this was excellent. Recommend it highly.
VERY GOOD ASIIAN FOOD, EASY LOCATION, GOOD SERVICEBEEN THERE MANY TIMES AND NEVER DISAPPOINTED
Very good food beautifully presented. Staff very accommodating. Do not rush you at all. Like most restaurants a tad too noisy. Good variety on the menu at reasonable prices.
The finest oriental cuisine in Boca/Delray Beach area.
Duck soup a must first course. Please split it with your partner so you don’t get filled up before the entrees.
This is truly in the same ballpark as Rainbow Palace in Fort Lauderdale another dining gem!!
The food is incredible. The downside is that the age skews toward retirees and the ambience reflects that. Get there at 9 pm and you can have the restaurant to yourself.
Every bite we ate was delicious. Can't wait to go back on our next trip down to florida to visit my parents. Big props to the crispy duck with basil sauce and the crispy rice tuna.
Very broad menu selections. Particularly liked appetizers such as the Lobster and Shrimp Shumai and the Bao Buns. Entrees were worthy as well. Service was attentive. This Asian restaurant is heads and shoulders above and Chinese restaurants in Delray.
We had the Florida role which was good, nothing special but solid. The doc noodle soup was outstanding I’m looking forward to trying the house made Ramen soup next time. The Thai curry was also excellent, looking forward to trying more on their menu on my next visit.
My husband and I went Saturday night to celebrate my birthday. We had not been here in awhile. Although it is a noisy place, the ambiance is very nice. People at adjoining tables were very friendly. They seemed to be frequent customers.
My food, The Hawaiian Dancer was a bit spicy for my taste. My husband had a large soup with seafood and noodles. He enjoyed that.
The only desert they offer is ice cream. I would not hesitate to go back.
Food so so, sat us literally under the overhang of the sushi bar despite other open tables.
Told them it wasn’t a good place but they seemed to ignore us.
It was new years eve, so very busy but service and food were still great!
Huge menu. I would have loved to try so many different foods. I ended up with sushi which was great. The food brought to other people’s tables looked amazing. Can’t wait to go back.
The food is always excellent and the introduction
Of the large boards with Sushi/sashimi is outstanding
Consistent! Best pad Thai in town and great lobster shrimp won ton soup
Asian food with a menu that goes on for days!! From Japanese, Thai and Chinese this restaurant has it covered. Our family had a fantastic New Years dinner at The Sea. A great assortment of Japanese dishes with a sushi menu to please everyone. Yummy Thai food including Tom Yum soup which was out of this world and delicious Thai curries. Be sure to check out the back of the menu. The front was good enough to make a decision from but the back has tons more. Extensive cocktail and wine list too.we will definitely be going back to The Sea!!
Food was excellent, duck salad is a must. Very good makis. Avoid wonton and tomyum soup.
When we are in Boca this is one of our favorite dining venues. We are foodies and the variety and quality means we can dine here without having to have the same dish each time. I have yet to select something I did not enjoy
