Very vibrant place. Food was good. Very noisy. Lots of appetizer choices.
The musician was there as soon as you walked in - too loud even though we were in a back booth - friend had to send back her appetizer- cocktail was disappointing- white wine glass too small... will not return.
Always solid food. Menu items for everyone. Great drinks
The food and service were great.
First and foremost, the food was magnificent!
We went for our anniversary and noted this in our online reservation and yet it was not acknowledged until we told our server.
It was a mild annoyance that accommodations in the menu we not even considered, something simple that could have made the evening that much more memorable.
The food is definitely the draw and it will draw us back for another special occasion in the future.
The restaurant has a nice layout, though seems to be kept excessively dark, making reading the menus difficult. Management needs to be aware overworking one waitress is inhuman. If one wants to retain good staff, it is not ethical to expect one waitress to work 6 tables without a busser, or a table runner. The food was good, appetizers are large enough to serve more than one. I like the restaurant, but would like the staff to be treated with respect. Pay attention Savoy, or I will put you on the naughty list.
They serve muffins and jelly while you are looking at menu. Nice personal touch! Our lunch and brunch dishes were delicious. Would highly recommend!
Weekly night out with my wife🔥
The food was good and the staff is excellent. The only issue is the restaurant is extremely dark. However, I would recommend The Savoy.
Our dining experience was so nice. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. Overall it was an enjoyable meal. It wasn’t the first time we were there and it won’t be the last!
Great place-first time there. There was live music as well which was terrific.
The restaurant seated us in a timely manner. It was busy so we did wait for the waitress to come and take our order. The appetizer was delicious but service was slow. We didn't receive the necessary serving silverware so appetizer was cold. Waitress friendly but difficult to locate. Organizationally , the restaurant needs some work- but would go back as main meal hot & drinks outstanding.
The noise level coming from the bar area and poor service ruined our dining experience
My fiancé and I decided to have dinner with another couple (newly dating) here tonight. Wanted somewhere we could get a good dinner but also an atmosphere that was alive. I’m glad we chose Savoy Tavern. The food was great and the service was also very prompt. We got two bottles of wine that came chilled with a wine bucket. Out waitress was very knowledgeable and came around often. We were not rushed and stayed till close. Would definitely come back!
Very Hip place. Food very Good
Music was great and waitress was fantas5ic
It was a pleasant experience but the food was so expensive for Valentine’s Day and the quality and taste was not very good
Amazing food(price fixed) for valentines every thing was great!
I would recommend The Savoy for brunch, lunch and dinner. The food is creatively prepared with fresh ingredients. The service is great and the food is excellent.
Friendly service, good food. Local restaurant. We will be back.
Arrived early for reservation and was helped immediately. Food selection and flavor was amazing.
They were sold out of steak.
As always a great dining experience at Savoy Tavern!
This is our families go to spot that has great food and live music! They staff is always extremely friendly and the service is top notch. I don't think I've ever had a dish at this restaurant that I didn't love.
The owner Guy is a standup guy who came over to our table and gave our kids coloring books which was awesome.
The food was good but the waitress disappeared on us after dinner and took forever to get us our check.
Will not be going back.
Savoy is a great local restaurant... active bar, more sedate dinner. Menu is excellent... I recommend the tuna. Drinks are great, service was great too. No one rushes, but service is attentive.
Staff was very accommodating to our needs.
Good service food lackluster prices high for the So- So food
I’ve been there many times. Service this week was poor even though it wasn’t too crowded— it is usually much better. Food was good.
Great service! Food as well! They make you feel at home and food comes out looking top notch and timely. From the hostess to the hardworking bus boys to our awesome waitress whom we will only request. Rebecca I believe.
This is one of my favorite local restaurants. Good food, excellent wait staff
Overall very nice place. Loved the decor and music! Food was good ...Cosmo not so good.. service was very good. Will definitely give it another try maybe we ordered the wrong dishes.. we went on a Saturday night and not very busy ..
We went early on a Saturday night. The restaurant wasn’t that crowded when we sat down but the waitress did not tell us specials so we ordered from the regular menu. We figured it out when we overheard specials being shared with the table next to us. 3 of 5 bread plates were dirty. Appetizer of chicken meatballs was good. Eggplant meatballs (main course) were not - texture odd, served over zoodles which were really strips of zucchini. Two of us who ordered it were disappointed. Those who ordered burgers and the steak were pleased. This restaurant is trying to be too many things. Stick with steak and burgers. We left a lower tip than we normally would because the waitress seemed generally unhappy to serve us.
We had 2 delicious dinners. I had the braised short ribs and my husband had the barolo chicken. Both were yummy!
We have dined here since our fav chef closed his place in Merrick. He brought some of his specialties to Savoy and the food is always good. The mussels were delicious as was the grilled shrimp dish. The shrimp Tuscano was not made quite the same however my husband said was excellent only they did not have a choice of pasta. The only draw back was the food took a long time to be served. Our waitress was a doll and bought us coffee for the inconvenience but there was no reason as they were not as busy as I’ve seen them on a usual Friday night.
The place was very nice. The waitress was super and friendly. The food very good.
A little on the pricey side but worth it.
Service at the bar and table were a little slow this night. Waited 10 minutes for a drink and 45 minutes for entree.
Expensive Very noisy. Nothing great. Hadn’t been there for awhile. Got a 15% off coupon so I thought I’d give it another try. Just ok. Won’t be back We were a party of 6. All agreed.
