Food and service were great. There was a band and they were really great. Problem was that the sound was really loud. Hard to have a conversation during dinner and at the bar. Literally screaming. Kind of got annoying but the music was good.
Although we didn’t know it was a price fixe menu and more then we were looking to spend ( we were looking for a good burger and a craft beer) it was a good experience. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to going back for a beer and a burger.
This was our first time for Valentine's Day. The food was wonderful. We will be returning regularly
Unfortunately, we made reservations for Valentine's Day, looked at the menu, saw the inflated price and walked out. We found it almost insulting that the same food on Tuesday costs twice the amount on Valentine's Day. Increasing the cost a meal because it is a holiday is just taking advantage. I will go back to the Savoy on an average weekday when the prices are more affordable to the average working person.
The Savoy has a casual and comfortable pub ambiance. The food is above average with a very nice happy hour. Worth a visit.
The service is always five star and the staff is attentive and thorough in providing a warm and welcoming experience. In addition the hostess, Cat, is a treasure.
All good, service fair. Server appeared a bit overwhelmed
Dinner was great and the daily special of lamb chops were exceptional
Warm fire welcomes you at entrance. For a Saturday night, the bar needed another bartender, though they were generous with beer samples. Food n drink service at table was not any more efficient unfortunately.
Shrimp Toscana was bland. My friend’s fried Eggplant was also forgettable. Sangria was overly sweet. The best part of the meal was the bread basket- warm bread with a crispy crust and soft center. Would only return for beer.
Great environment. Decent beer selection. Menu was creative. Our server was very bubbly and nice. It got pretty busy (but not full) as we sat down which seemed to slow our service down considerably. Two get our drinks took 10min each time. I had two different IPAs that I enjoyed thoroughly and my wife had wine. My wife brought us there for one thing, the artichokes (she’s had them before). They were out...strike 1. We got the Arancini instead and they were pretty good. We both ordered the Chef’s burger. She asked for medium with the bbq sauce on the side. I asked for medium rare, as is. My wife got her burger medium with sauce on the side. Mine was also medium but with no sauce at all. I let the sauce go because of what happened next. Thankfully, my wife cut her burger in half before biting into it as the whole plastic wrapper was inside the burger. I went and got our server and she apologized emphatically and explained that each burger comes individually wrapped in said plastic and the kitchen was busy...I don’t care how busy the kitchen is that’s unacceptable. The manager came over to apologize and let her order something else and offered for our next round of drinks on the House. I thought that less appropriate than comping her entire dish. She got the French dip. Another 20min before it came out. I had eaten as slow as possible to wait but by the time it came out I was finished. They offered drinks but I had had already had two and was driving and asked if there was something else they could do. They offered dessert but we were over it so finally they comped her meal entirely. Not sure if I’ll go back.
