Always elegant exceptional food & lovely presentation.
We had a great night, ordered the caesar salad, the Coho special, and the seafood feast bowl which were all amazing. I also had the warm duck salad, unfortunately the only complaint was the duck was tough although the salad was delicious so I wouldn't order that again. Great ambiance and service.
Although my Procceco was a bit flat (maybe open a new bottle next time ?)
The food service and ambiance was lovely
I really enjoyed our dining experience. Good food, excellent view and great service.
Excellent halibut dish on special. Delicious pecan pie
Absolutely amazing as per usual! From the food to the view and the amazing staff!
The food is very, very good. Service and ambience also good. Pretty expensive but high quality.
We had an amazing dining experience and the view was breathtaking. The seafood tower was delicious and fresh. We ordered the duck, sockeye salmon, sable fish and halibut, and all our entrees was cooked perfectly. Special thanks to Kyle and the staff there for making my father’s 86th birthday memorable and special!
The ambience and view at Salmon House is always great. Service was excellent. The food was quite good, but one steak was undercooked and had to be sent back to be cooked more. Overall great meal and restaurant.
The view, the service, the variety on the menu and the quality of the food!
The sablefish , duck and beef tenderloin were all outstanding and the server Colleen was attentive yet not intrusive! Not cheap however a perfect evening for a double birthday! I’ll certainly return!
The food was delicious. The recommendation that our waitress made was great too! She was knowledgeable when asked about the difference in taste between Sockeye and Chinook salmon (the Chinook was soft and delicious, just like she described it as). It would be interesting if you would offer a limited time special of a whole salmon? Whole Sockeye or Chinook? Overall, 11/10!
Food and service was exceptional
Great quality food, the salmon and the sablefish were amazing! The scallops appetizer was very good! Wine selection also very nice! A bit pricey. We will be back for special occasions!
Exceeded all expectations for service and food and ambience. Don’t get me started on the View !
We enjoyed every dish and esp the fresh catch Chinook and Sockeye salmon specials of the night.
The Salmon House is an old favourite and although we always enjoy our visit it has got more expensive without maintaining value.
The view and the location are unparalleled in Vancouver and the wait staff are very professional.
The caesar salad was a disappointment and over priced, but the mains were very good.
We feel so fortunate that The Salmon House is in our neighbourhood. The food is always delicious and the staff welcoming. We love the ambiance which embraces the First Nations culture.
We would definitely recommend The Salmon House to friends!
It's our favorite place for a special dinner. Jessica's service was great.
A couple of noisy groups were placed near us which detracted a little this time.
Really good seafood, well cooked and presented along with a delicious variety of properly cooked vegetables.
Service was food which says a lot as most restaurants are so short staffed these days.
Food was very fresh tasting and served in a delicious broth sauce. Would say you could get equivalent qualit for a lower price point in the City but of course paying for view. They wrote ‘Happy Anniversary’ on our dessert which was a nice touch. We had a great evening overall.
Pretty good in general. Just a little expensive
Great food and great service. Magnificent view to Stanley Park and downtown Vancouver.
The view was nice and the service was good. However, the prices seem to have increased significantly in the last year or two and are now a little too high.
Food was excellent!
Food was mediocre and over priced. Caesar salad made with iceberg lettuce? Poor premium liquor selection at the bar. Only 4 gins and only Empress as a premium selection. Disappointing experience despite the great service by attentive staff and a fun companion.
So unfortunate to write this as I know this restaurant had been around for a long time.
The inside is beautiful and timeless but that’s the only good thing about this restaurant now.
For what it was the food was over priced.
The servicer was terrible, I’m surprised he works there… really slow service and odd behaviour.
We came here because it was the only reservation we could get last minute on a Friday night however for $300 (no alcohol ordered) I wish I ordered in.
It was a wonderful meal. The view and service was very good.
View is stunning even on a cloudy day and food was excellent as was the service
Very Enjoyable experience ,…………………………………………………………..
Lovely view. Easy parking . Excellent service. We arrived early for our 7:30 pm reservation, and they were able to seat us immediately. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and wines. We would definitely return the next time that we visit Vancouver.
Very nice restaurant with excellent food and astonish views of Vancouver!
Great food, service and location. Was unable to get a window seat as requested.
Fabulous view. Excellent service. Food was very tasty -- go for the traditional best bets: salmon didn't seem that fresh? Meals could have been served a bit warmer--perhaps they had sat for a bit? But the main courses were very tasty and nicely presented. In general, over the years, food is consistently very tasty and service and view are outstanding. We really enjoy going here for birthdays and other family celebrations. Keep up the good work Salmon House!
Good food was great except portions especially the clam chowder barely any soup in the bowl for what you paid.
An awesome trip down memory lane!! Such an amazing ambience! Wonderful taste bud experience!!
Our server, Bea, was wonderful. Her manner and approach added greatly to a great experience.
We had a delicious dinner and the service was very pleasant and quick.
Liked the food, service, parking and restaurant. The reservation system seem a bit fault on line with open table. The restaurant was open at 5:00pm, our preference for time but online reported only open for reservations at 6:00pm. I asked for a window seat one week in advance with the online reservations but when arriving nothing reserved. Next time I will phone them directly and bypass this open table system.
The service was excellent. The drinks and food were great. However, the caesar salad was different in that only the ribs of the Romaine lettuce leaves were served. The leaves were cut off the ribs. The ribs were crunchy and fresh but it was still unusual.
Our meal & time at the Salmon House was a memorable experience! As always, food was top class & setting spectacular! Highly recommend this place for a fine dining experience!
