The halibut is always amazing and the sauce on the plate was delicious.
Excellent food and service. I would recommend it to our friends.
Excellent thanksgiving celebration dinner here.
Awesome, highly recommended. Great food, service and location. Everyone loved it.
One of the great things about the Salmon House, other than the food and service, is the view. Though it was a rainy day, the food and service made up for the lack of view. Our server was attentive, yet unobtrusive. The food was good, portions very adequate, cooked appropriately, and presented with flair. I wouldn't say it was outstanding, but certainly very tasty and we all enjoyed it. The room is classic west coast, with lots of cedar, and lots of Native cultural items. I'd go there again, and that is all a restaurateur needs to hear.
An excellent and delicious meal with incredible service. Our table was to the back and we did not have an excellent view but it was still extremely enjoyable. Well worth the money and a very unique dining experience. Will be going back soon
Lovely supper, the view, the service & the food delicious .
Food is not good. Disappointed
We shared the seafood tower. Great variety, tasty, nice presentation. Would have been nice if it came with some bread, but we ordered some. Oysters, crab legs, lobster were all on point. The one thing we noticed was that the salmon was on the dry side. Wonderfully muted ambience without being stuffy. Wait staff were all very friendly / pleasant.
It's been too long since we've been to the Salmon House, and hope to be back sooner.
Although the food and service was very good and excellent, respectively, the actual premises were freezing cold with the A/C still blowing after we mentioned it. Sitting eating dinner with our coats on.
Went for a birthday celebration. Restaurant was about 1/2 full and following COVID requirements. It was a rainy night but between showers we had a good view of downtown lights.
Had the seafood tower which is a lot of food. All very good but some of the white fish in the broth were a bit overcooked.
I was expecting a bit more seafood on their Seafood Tower for two. The portions were small, but I did not leave hungry. The caesar salad was superb.
The prices were over the top, but not unexpected.
The wine list was extensive, but starting at around $65 a bottle, was pricey. Maybe a few less expensive options should be thrown in??
The service was excellent, the atmosphere great.
All in all, a nice experience for my partner’s birthday.
Stunning views, excellent service and great menu.
Fish off the grill is spectacular.”, views are priceless. Only negative was that the coho room is exposed to the bar so can be noisy with the blenders, mixing etc.
Excellent halibut special. Superb service in the lounge as restaurant was full. We actually prefer it there. All COVID protocols were maintained.
Lovely place to have a meal with friends or loved ones. Arguably one of the best restaurant views of Vancouver. Definitely worth the drive. Excellent service from the staff!
Very lovely dinner her hadn’t been here for a couple years way before the pandemic. Food was as good as I remembered it prawn spring rolls very delicious. Salmon was great only thing is it could have been a little bit more rare but still tasty. Good wine really nice to get some complimentary bubbles at end to celebrate my belated bday. Will definitely come back again soon. Love that this restaurant is supporting vaccine passport. Makes you feel more safe.
Always elegant exceptional food & lovely presentation.
We had a great night, ordered the caesar salad, the Coho special, and the seafood feast bowl which were all amazing. I also had the warm duck salad, unfortunately the only complaint was the duck was tough although the salad was delicious so I wouldn't order that again. Great ambiance and service.
Although my Procceco was a bit flat (maybe open a new bottle next time ?)
The food service and ambiance was lovely
I really enjoyed our dining experience. Good food, excellent view and great service.
Excellent halibut dish on special. Delicious pecan pie
Absolutely amazing as per usual! From the food to the view and the amazing staff!
The food is very, very good. Service and ambience also good. Pretty expensive but high quality.
We had an amazing dining experience and the view was breathtaking. The seafood tower was delicious and fresh. We ordered the duck, sockeye salmon, sable fish and halibut, and all our entrees was cooked perfectly. Special thanks to Kyle and the staff there for making my father’s 86th birthday memorable and special!
The ambience and view at Salmon House is always great. Service was excellent. The food was quite good, but one steak was undercooked and had to be sent back to be cooked more. Overall great meal and restaurant.
The view, the service, the variety on the menu and the quality of the food!
The sablefish , duck and beef tenderloin were all outstanding and the server Colleen was attentive yet not intrusive! Not cheap however a perfect evening for a double birthday! I’ll certainly return!
The food was delicious. The recommendation that our waitress made was great too! She was knowledgeable when asked about the difference in taste between Sockeye and Chinook salmon (the Chinook was soft and delicious, just like she described it as). It would be interesting if you would offer a limited time special of a whole salmon? Whole Sockeye or Chinook? Overall, 11/10!
Food and service was exceptional
Great quality food, the salmon and the sablefish were amazing! The scallops appetizer was very good! Wine selection also very nice! A bit pricey. We will be back for special occasions!
Exceeded all expectations for service and food and ambience. Don’t get me started on the View !
We enjoyed every dish and esp the fresh catch Chinook and Sockeye salmon specials of the night.
The Salmon House is an old favourite and although we always enjoy our visit it has got more expensive without maintaining value.
The view and the location are unparalleled in Vancouver and the wait staff are very professional.
The caesar salad was a disappointment and over priced, but the mains were very good.
We feel so fortunate that The Salmon House is in our neighbourhood. The food is always delicious and the staff welcoming. We love the ambiance which embraces the First Nations culture.
We would definitely recommend The Salmon House to friends!
It's our favorite place for a special dinner. Jessica's service was great.
A couple of noisy groups were placed near us which detracted a little this time.
Really good seafood, well cooked and presented along with a delicious variety of properly cooked vegetables.
Service was food which says a lot as most restaurants are so short staffed these days.
Food was very fresh tasting and served in a delicious broth sauce. Would say you could get equivalent qualit for a lower price point in the City but of course paying for view. They wrote ‘Happy Anniversary’ on our dessert which was a nice touch. We had a great evening overall.
Pretty good in general. Just a little expensive
Great food and great service. Magnificent view to Stanley Park and downtown Vancouver.
The view was nice and the service was good. However, the prices seem to have increased significantly in the last year or two and are now a little too high.
