    Prices increasing beyond quality. Jessica has served our family for a very long time. My wife's bday and the server incredible;however the food has decreased in quality and portion

    A wonderful anniversary dinner for a couple of Ontario visitors. The salmon was great and the vegetables cooked to perfection. We had a gorgeous view from our table by the window. The staff was friendly and attentive, even bringing us our desserts with a Happy Anniversary message written in chocolate sauce. The perfect end to a perfect meal and experience.

    Server forgot our appetizer, food was good but fish portions were pretty small at over $40 per dish. Staff didn't seem to have as much energy as they used to

    They need to UPGRADE their Wine glasses. We ordered a nice bottle of Pinot Noir & the wine glasses weren´t adecuate to enhance the wine.

    Wonderful dinner at the Salmon House! The Salmon & Halibut specials were perfectly prepared and presented, and the Seafood Feast Bowl and desserts were delicious. Service was excellent (a smiling hostess when we arrived, wonderful server who ensured we always had everything without us needing to ask), complimented by a beautiful location and ambiance. We’ll be back!

    We celebrated our anniversary with dinner at The Salmon House on The Hill. It is one of our favourite spots to go. The food was superb, the view is always amazing, we had a window table 😄, the ambiance was good and our service was excellent. I would highly recommend going to Salmon House for a meal!!

    The scenery was spectacular and services were friendly and good. We ordered the pan fry halibut and grill sockeye salmon dishes. Both fishes were over cooked to the point that they were dry. It was very disappointed for us.

    The location is a plus for this restaurant, unfortunately the heavy smoke restricted our view of the city in the early part of our seating but did clear up after dark. The food quality and preparation was excellant as well as the service. The pricing was inline with any upscale dining facility in the city. If I had any complaint it would be the lack of aknowlledgement by the management that I had chosen them to bring my family with me as I changed my reservation from 3 to 9, but I realized that the hostess was busy filling in for staff shortages. I highly recommend this place and will return next visit to BC Thanks Keith

    I have been coming to Salmon House when I visit Vancouver for over 20 years, and it does not disappoint. We had the sampler and beet salad (delicious), halibut, salmon trio and gnocchi (salmon was a bit overcooked for me, but everything else was delicious), and the desserts were outstanding (maple tart with ice cream, cheesecake in philo). The ambiance can't be beat, with every table able to enjoy the incredible view of Vancouver (including the sunsets). Service is always professional. We will surely return!

    The service was even better than the food quality. The meal is the best seafood meal I have had in years. This gem on the hill is an amazing setting and best attended as the sun sets and you can see the lights of Vancouver come on. Simply a magical restaurant in a fabulous setting.

    A trip here never wavers from being consistently great. Quality of the food and presentation are exceptional. Colleen is a top notch server. Very dignified and professional. Always attentive but never intrusive. Unforgettable view of the downtown, English Bay and Vancouver Island. Pleasantly low level of noise that allows conversation with the guests at your table without having to raise your voice. Been coming here for over 40 years and have never been disappointed yet

    We went early so we're fortunate to get a window table.. The view wouldn't matter if everything else wasn't great. This is our one must visit restaurant whenever we're back here. Absolutely nothing can compare in Ontario. Food. Service. Ambience. All top notch. Been coming here since 1980. Never disappointed. We're seniors now so don't know if we'll manage another trip. But if we do then we'll see the Salmon House again.

    Chose the Salmon House on the Hills for our anniversary celebration and were not disappointment. Food, Service and ambiance were top notch. English Bay view was tamed by the evening clouds but that could not be helped with.
