Great service. Our table was ready and waiting for us. They had mini appetizers being served as soon as we sat down. Our waiter was kind and offered suggestions for drinks and food.
I've been here twice. Great for social gathering but service tends to be a little slow. Great food and drinks.
Always awesome! Love the new menu items!! It's like being in a restaurant out west!!
Very nice place, good menu and good service. Went there before concert, walking distance from the venue, were happy with our choice of restaurant.
The food was good but yet too pricy for the small portion that we received. The atmosphere was very nice but at the same time, there could have been more light at the tables. The waitress that we had was not attentive to our needs. She did not come over much to see if we needed anything and she took her time in getting us our bill after we requested it. I could understand if the restaurant was busy but at the time when my partner and I went, it was nice and slow.
we went to wager at trackside & try our luck on slots plus had lunch & drinks - very pricey & food choices are very unique so if you are a basic eater this would not be a place to eat - drinks expensive - 4 of us and we did separate checks due to the cost but had a lot of fun and it was fairly busy not packed - I liked my chicken sandwhich but my hubby did not care for the flatbread - our friends liked the kobe burger & chick. sand. and again we all thought high priced food and drinks - would go back and share an appetizer but those too are unique . they need to offer basic food choices at a fair price and lower drink prices - fun to wager on both slots and ponies! Good Luck to all!
Great food! Like the O-T-B room. The only thing I had an issue with is that there was a fly flying around the food, which was annoying. And it wasn't even crowded.
First a cocktail lounging in the beautiful out of doors....then a flight with a flight (look it up on the menu) and finally a leisurely night cap....all within 100 feet of each other, all different all wonderful. It doesn't get any better!
One caveat, I imagine if the restaurant was full of patrons it might get pretty noisy.
Excellent mix of favors that is extraordinary creative dishes! One of my favorite places to go.
Great hidden place, think Cabelas and Sears center. Great outdoor deck! Wonderful place to dine inside or out. Best specialty cocktails in area!
We had seen some not so great reviews, but don't believe them! Our server was incredible, the food is different with just the right twist, and every bite delicious.
We will be back, this restaurant is worth trying.
Always a great meal. Servers are very knowledgeable about the entrée. Never have received a bad recommendation.
Very slow service but staff made up for it when we gave feedback
Once again, does not disappoint.
Got together for a family birthday.
Good time had by all!
Nice ambiance with great food !! Will recommend to my friends for sure..
Unique architecture of the restaurant. The endless alcohol menu was impressive. Very creative food menu. Not your typical restaurant food very Chef motivated menus. Service was great.
Saddle room is it's great as always. Definitely the BEST burgers around. Great atmosphere, staff is always friendly very nice patio, Multiple fireplaces, the list goes on !
Food was absolutely amazing... Everyone was friendly and willing to help with anything. We love coming here, can't wait to go back!
Over priced choices.
Loved the outdoor patio. Drinks were perfect! Food was interesting, different and well done. Service was a little slow but the server was loaded and very busy so completely understandable. we had a great time. We'll be back!
Excellent in every way. We love the creative food. It's a new experience every time. Especially their soups.
The service is beyond what you expect. The waiters are very knowable about food and wine. And they are very accommodating to your needs.
It's always a good time.
Enjoyed a drink near their outdoor fireplace and it was wonderful ambiance. Ordered the meat plate as an appetizer and it was not something I would recommend to anyone else. I wish we could have ordered a salad outside instead of just appetizers.
ate outside - wonderful atmosphere - an oasis in the middle of suburbia. Food was excellent with outstanding combinations of flavors
I have been to the Saddle Room several times over the past year and it remains atop my list as a favorite. During the hot summer evenings it is quite nice to sit inside where it is cool, cozy and romantically lit. During those chilly evenings there is no better place to be than relaxing around the fireplace enjoying a great glass of wine.....cheers!
Poor service, food overpriced and no flavor
Great drinks, always something creative and fresh on the menu.
One of my favorite places!
Great drinks as always. Husband tried the Mexican lasagna but said Chipotle has better Mexican for $8, so not worth it. Often find its too quiet - should have sat outside where all the guests were even though it was a little cold.
Food was outstanding especially the lobster corn dogs.
I went with a pretty large group to this place, on a whim. At first we were all sitting outside and it was pretty enjoyable - lots of people sitting outside and not a soul inside. They have a great selection of whiskey and many beers. The menu is also somewhat eclectic, and the food we ordered was pretty good. I'd say the biggest problem we had with this place was their mosquito problem outside. We were having a really great time and as the sun went down, this quickly changed. We were almost eaten alive by mosquitos! We requested to move inside, at which point the waiter obliged and we were shuffled inside. I've been to many places by the water, in several different states (NY, NJ, TX, CA, FL) and nowhere has the problem been so bad as at this place. They really need to do something about it.
The outdoor dining was borderline unbearable. There mosquito's everywhere. No citranella candles or fans were available. We ended up leaving early, which was too bad.
We went for first time for Father's Day. It was excellent- food was a little limited but was very good, service was friendly and quietly efficient, decor is really interesting and very welcoming.
Decided to try them for a Saturday night dinner. Advised them that one of the 4 of us was celebrating s birthday. No followup by staff at any time.
We ate outside which was very enjoyable and the server in the Happy Hour area was very good. I asked if she would be our server when we changed tables and her reply was No. We moved tables and all went downhill from there as to service and "value".
Menu has a number of what we thought would be very tasty, but the flavors just didn't hit the target. The prices were high in our opinion for the meals that were served.
Bottom line- we will go back for brunch but not for dinner unless we just want to drink martinis and pizza during an actual happy hour.
Been here several times over the last few years, always enjoyed, but this time was disappointing. We had a reservation for 4 people, 6 pm, got right to our table which was good. Service was slow despite the restaurant being really empty for a Saturday evening. Server seemed a little put out to return to our table when one of us needed a minute to choose a cocktail. One person ordered 2 Son Kist martinis - server made a show of dropping on the bitters for the first one, didn't even bother to add to the second. Food was okay, and I usually love it. The croquettes were greasy. Don't bother with the lobster corndogs. Dessert was confusing - the upside down peach thing wasn't pie or cake like the name may suggest, just baked peach chunks with pecans and ice cream on top, and the chocolate mousse was almost parfait style with tons of whipped cream and some orange preserves? I hate to be nitpicky but for a pricey foodie place, this wasn't up to par. Come on Saddle Room!
My husband choose this restaurant to have his Father's Day dinner. We love coming here to celebrate special occasions or just date night. They serve incredible drinks and creative American fare dishes.
The only thing the surpasses the delicious innovative food is the informative, helpful staff. We are always excited to try new dishes because we know we are going to be blown away. Can't wait to go back!
This was my first visit to the Saddle Room, but I fully intend to return. I took my stepfather Sunday morning for Father's Day Brunch. The buffet was excellent and the omelette and carving stations a bonus. They also made pizzas to order including a delicious breakfast pizza. I enjoyed the quiche, thai shrimp, prime beef, eggs, bacon, sausages, fruits, mashed potatoes, and delicious sweets like toffee blondie and flourless chocolate cake. It was fine dining by buffet and an excellent brunch. I have no doubt that dinner there would be equally good. Although the food was served buffet style, our server was extremely attentive. Coffee refills came without request, the pizza suggestion was excellent and the ambience very nice.
We celebrated Father's day with their brunch special and it was great everyone had a great time, the staff was very pleasant and very informative.
Great outdoor experience. Was missing some drinks listed on the menu
We love their unique and varied menu, especially the Pigs in Flight and the GRILLED CAESAR salad. The food is excellent, and it's always a little different than what you might expect.
Service was good, vvery pricey for food that do sent fit every ones taste.
Not disappointing but close. Its a pretty place but the always friendly service has consistently been slow and disorganized and the creative menu falls very much short on execution. For us, the OTB is the saving grace, otherwise it rates only a "meh."
This place was amazing. The food was delicious. From cocktails, apps and entrées. We can't stop talking about it and we're going back next week. Our waitress was knowledgeable, patient and kind.
