The food and service were fantastic. Every dish had so much flavor and was totally worth the value. My son who never wears pants was so thoroughly pleased that it was worth putting on pants for! That’s a good sign. Keep up the great work Ryland Inn!

We always enjoy dining at the Ryland Inn, and this was no exception. The service was great, friendly and professional. The food was outstanding! I had braised apple-fed lamb with parsnip puree, kale and gnocchi - it was to die for. My husband had the hanger steak, also incredible! We'll be back and would recommend to anyone.

We went to the Ryland Inn for an early Valentine's Day Brunch as we prefer quiet, uncrowded spaces with food selections not usually available at home or other local restaurants.
We both had starters (Beet salad, Sheep yogurt) and a main (Brioche French Toast, Green Market Frittata) which together made for 'right-sized' meals for an early Sunday afternoon. Service from entry to departure was excellent as was cleanliness in the dining area.
A young & talented acoustic music duo (The Walking Brothers) played original music as well as numerous covers for several hours adding to our experience. They have played here on a regular monthly basis for more than a year and are a big part of the reason we dined at The Ryland Inn.

We will certainly be back...looking forward to outdoor dining in the Spring/Summer.

Definitely not the old inn. We got seated at a table with no tablecloth. For the price you're going to pay here, having a tablecloth and crisp table linen should be a given. As for service, our waitress was sweet, but she was pretty much alone in tending to us. Not like the old Ryland that had their wait staff outnumber you. As for food, wagyu beef and oysters were good. I had the black bass and it was overcooked and salty. Many of the accoutrements were good, but nothing I would go back for. The funniest one was the cauliflower mousse with a drop of caviar on top. This was the worst tasting cauliflower I ever had - bland, wallpaper glue. It was an insult to cauliflowers! Drinks were good. Cheese plate, good. Salads, good.

Service was great, our server, Shane, was attentive without hovering. She knew the menu, and went to confirm her thoughts when there were gluten related questions. Other service, valets to maître de, were all professional and a joy to deal with. Food was excellent; my wife and younger daughter enjoyed a venison special, my older daughter had beef dishes that were perfectly cooked.
Can be an expensive night, but you definitely get value for your dollar.

What a great place!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our much needed date night here! We aren’t Food critiques or have an adventurous pallet, but we know how incredible eat bite of food was! Even the cocktails were creative and delicious!!

Been going there since Craig Shelton was around. Love the ambiance, but the food has gone way downhill. Last three times I’ve been there, at least one dish of the meal was toxically salty. I have no idea what the heck is going on in that kitchen.

I recently brought my nephew and his wife to the restaurant, which he has never been, for a celebratory birthday dinner and had a fabulous night! I did mention the occasion with reservations but the hospitality and attention were far beyond my expectations.
The wine, food and service were spectacular. And although my nephew and his wife live a distance away, they expressed their desire to return.
Thank you for making an already special night more amazing.

We reserved Ryland Inn for a dinner on the 4th using Open Table. That was the day of the storm - we drove all the way to find that the Inn was shut.
There was no information of them being shut on the web and open table allowed us to make the reservation. It was my husband's Birthday. We were very bummed by this experience.

We've been here a number of times and have enjoyed our prior visits. This time the server either did not know the menu, or inaccurately described the menu and the food was just ok. They were having a wedding that night so maybe the staff was stretched.

We were both so impressed with everything from the beautiful decor and decorations to the delicious brunch menu selections. The staff was so friendly and attentive and we will definitely be coming back for dinner next time. Thanks for everything!

We were seated at a table in the dinning room near the bar. It was so noisy, we could not hear each other's conversation. They quickly moved us to the back dinning room and it was very much appreciated. We enjoyed the tasting menu which was excellent. The only thing we did not enjoy was the coffee. Otherwise a lovely meal especially after the seating change.

Very pricey and the food was not great. Portions were minuscule and not flavorful. Salmons was raw and cold inside. Truffles and pasta for 75 dollars was blah. Ambience is very nice but the quality of the food for the price was unsatisfactory.

The Ryland Inn is a wonderful place for a quiet or romantic dinner with superb cuisine. Portion sizes are more than adequate and the food presentation was remarkable. My husband had the hangar steak which is served with delicious greens and steak fries. I'm a salmon lover and the mixtures of flavors combined with a perfectly cooked salmon steak was unbelievably delicious.
The staff at The Ryland Inn are more than accommodating to insure their guests are treated like royalty.

I liked the revamp of this restaurant. It doesn't feel quite as pretentious as its predecessor. The service, while extremely friendly, felt as if they were trying a bit too hard. A little more relaxed and my review would be even better. No complaint, just that I felt as if I had to make our server relax a bit. Kept apologizing for over attention, then under-attention, then something else. Perhaps was a new staff member. Food was wonderful. Loved the king crab special as well as the black bass.
