I went with 3 other family members, some of which had dietary restrictions. Our waitress Sue made sure she spoke directly with the chef, who prepared some amazing variations of items on the menu for our appetizers and entrees.
Amazing food, beautiful day on the outdoor patio seating area.
We have been going to brunch for years. This is such a beautiful place. We ate on the veranda overlooking the garden. Perfect.
Service as always was excellent.
All the food at the buffet was fresh and of good quality. Definitely a smaller selection since covid. And we so missed the omelette station. Omelettes are now made to order in the kitchen and brought by the server. Ours were cold and so overcooked we didn't finish them, and neither did our neighbors who were also very disappointed. Bring back the omelette station!
We always love the live music, usually a string quartet. This time a single acoustic guitar, but also excellent.
The food was fantastic and our server was spot on about the dessert selection. It was a wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary
Just not what it used to be. For was subpar as well as the service
Outstanding food, drinks and service. We enjoyed the experience, except for the loud band playing during the later part of our dinner. Music should never be too loud to allow us to enjoy the conversation across the table and among our group.
There is quite a bit to choose from on the menu. Plus there were daily specials. We had 4 of us for lunch. The service was good considering the amount of people the 2 workers/servers had to deal with. The food.......... so good. I had the quiche of the day and it was a yummy one, served in a puff pastry. It came with roasted potato pieces and melon pieces. Two others received HUGE salads. And the fourth person had a turkey panini. We were all happy with our choices. And of course we had to try the desserts. The small hot fudge sundae was not small ! And the chocolate truffle cake was a WOW ! Like a HUNK of fudge ! (probably 1000 calories! But who was counting!?) I would recommend THE ROYCROFT INN ! And we hope to get back there soon. 2 thumbs way up..... wish I had more thumbs ! OH, and the restaurant........... a must see ! :-)
Great atmosphere, attentive staff, delicious food! Doesn't get any better. ;-)
Our favorite hometown restaurant. Consistently been providing excellent food and service for decades!
Food and location was excellent. Waitress was very sweet but not terribly efficient.
Staff was awesome. Food very good. Beautiful restaurant
limited menu but all that is on it is very tasty. we would go back.
Seated on time, service was excellent, food selection was good.
Our server was very nice but not attentive whatsoever. Lobster tail extremely small for $45.00
Delicious food, locally sourced, organic, gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. House-made desserts. Excellent service. Lovely ambience.
Die to another large party our food never came and we had to leave. They took care of us. Unfortunate but understandable. All other visits have been stellar.
This is a beautiful space and the food is decent, but it was slightly ruined by the feeling that we were in a karaoke bar instead of the nicest restaurant in town. The band would have been a welcome addition if they’d played the gorgeous acoustic music they were great at instead of singing pop songs and trying to engage with the crowd at un-ignorable volume. We will check on live entertainment before scheduling next time.
Our server was fantastic and friendly. We were greeted immediately and seated immediately, on time for our reservation. We sat outside on the beautiful covered historic porch, next to the open courtyard, filled with trees and flowers.
The ambiance was perfect and the Inn is gorgeous. The service was attentive and professional, and every person we encountered who worked at The Roycroft Inn was super friendly.
We both started with a glass of wine and some of their delicious bread. We both ordered the lobster and shrimp bisque, which was wonderful.
For our entrees, we ordered the Sea Scallops on risotto and the Filet dinner. Both were outstanding. Perfectly prepared, with excellent flavor and attention to detail. Excellent!
We split 2 “sliver” desserts, so we could try two. We orders the hot fudge Sundae and the chocolate truffle cake. Both were delicious, but I couldn’t have eaten a whole portion of either.
The prices are fair, service is excellent, the property and facilities are charming, clean and beautiful, and the food is delicious!
We went into the bar area afterward to enjoy a couple of drinks and listen to live music. It was an excellent date night, and we will most definitely return.
Food was poor. Small lobster portions. Overcooked Salmon and vegetables. Needs a new chef! Ambiance is wonderful.
outdoor dining at The Roycroft Inn is one of summer's pleasures. Food is consistently good, drinks are well made and the setting is lovely.
There is nothing like sitting on the veranda of the beautiful Roycroft on a lovely summer day. The quiche was excellent and don’t forget to order a sliver of dessert! The best!!!
The dining experience was just so lovely as we sat on the veranda at The Roycroft. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable!
We always have a wonderful experience at the Roycroft! It was a beautiful night on the peristyle. Our server Negan was wonderful! Food was delicious!
It was a lovely meal and the service was quite good. It did feel a little rushed, but only slightly. We had a nice salad, entree and dessert. French press coffee was excellent. The wine with dinner was also nice.
Good brunch, service could be more informative. Place was a little messy. Omelets were sub par. Overall okay.
First time at the brunch and it didn’t disappoint! The food was fabulous and the service top notch. Once again, the Roycroft scores high points!
Terrific food. Many kindnesses to my wheelchair bound grandson
It was a perfect way to celebrate our 29th anniversary. My husband is handicap and in a wheelchair. They have a very nice ramp that leads you to a lower level dining room where the room was full of windows, bright and pleasant. Sue was our waitress. She was great and made you feel very welcomed. She was helpful ion making our selections. I had the rack of lamb and my husband the steak. Both were excellent and done to perfection.
Sue and Roman the Busser were checking on us to see if we needed anything. The tables were nicely spaced so it was quiet. It was a relaxing and romantic evening. We have been there before and look forward to returning.
Although the venue is beautiful, the food is just so so. I've eaten at the Roycroft many many times over the years and have enjoyed many delicious entrees, but also some average ones. Never so bad that you'd send them back, but just not up to what I expect. For example: the risotto last evening, which I usually like very much, was bland. Also, we had to ask for bread.
It’s a beautiful setting! We sat on the porch,; server was excellent and recommended a great wine for us! Food was good but maybe a bit under seasoned.
My husband and I enjoyed our dinner outside under cover of the large patio. Our meals were not rushed so we enjoyed a nice relaxing evening. The waitstaff was courteous and efficient. We will definitely go back.
Very nice ambience, a few flies around but it is to be expected given the outdoors-y setup. However there are unobtrusive ways of dealing with them given some research. The service was awesome; very knowledgeable, friendly and a sense of humor. The food was very good, perhaps a menu to the short side with a high percentage of entrees including unnecessary very sweet glazes and sauces but I am sure the staff would be happy to accommodate substitution. Happy with our visit.
Friends were disappointed with the Turkey Pannini. It was cold, cheese not melted, however good flavor. The specialty salad and soup was delicious.
We were very happy with our experience here at lunch on the gorgeous wraparound porch. The food, service, and ambiance were all top notch. We will definitely be back. Sean, our server, and Miriam, our busser were tremendous, as was Jared, the host. Elevated but not stuffy--a gem.
Anniversary 50th, our waitress brought us a glass of Champagne understaffed and they were very busy but the waitresses did a very good job.
Took a long time to get our food. But lunch was wonderful. Food was very very good. it was nice to be back eating lunch on the portico on a summer day.
Great food, amazing service! Nice to be out listening to music!
We had a wonderful experience at the Roycroft. Delicious food, fantastic staff, friendly atmosphere. Our server was incredible! Only down side was the noise level. There was
Iive music in another section of the inn, so it was rather load. It wasn’t enough to discourage us from visiting again.
Our visits to the Roycroft have always been special. We have always enjoyed our time spent there. The service and the food is outstanding. We look forward to our next time spent at the Roycroft.
