As always GREAT food, prices and atmosphere!
Two anniversaries and a birthday
Our food was excellent. Alicia, our waitress, was cheerful and helpful as was the young guy that helped her. Will definitely fine here again.
Also, our hostess was very friendly and accommodating.
It was a beautiful night to be outside on the porch in such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere! Dinner was delicious, as usual!
We attended the Sunday brunch, very good menu selection. All of the food was very well prepared and fresh. Atmosphere was a little loud but tolerable. The place was very busy but the staff handled everything very well.
Great service great food. Very consistent
Super service and great food!
Excellent night to eat on the veranda! Only bothered by a yellow jacket that my husband killed with his fork! Food was outstanding! Would go again!
Picturesque setting on a patio with excellent food and service! I will be back!!
We loved everything! Max our waiter was especially charming. Food was terrific. Loved the sliver dessert combo!
The menu is very limited. Dinners were very bland, needed to be seasoned. Service was slow, seemed they were short staffed. Don't waste your time and money. Definitely not worth it.
As soon as the food arrived, so did the flies and bees!
Excellent selection of food. Everything was delicious
The Roycroft is good anytime, but even more so during COVID upsurge. We were having a small Family Reunion and needed a safe, outdoor setting for us to gather.
I knew the peristyle would be a good option regardless of the weather. We couldn't have been more satisfied. We were a good distance from other diners and even had some space between ourselves. Our server, Emily was delightful in spite of it being an extremely humid day, she was witty, watchful, and prompt. Our food was delicious!
Wonderful dining on porch! Special place the Roycroft!
We ate out on the beautiful patio on a warm summer night listening to the band inside. The atmosphere is very relaxed and we didn't feel rushed at all. Love that you can order a "sliver" of dessert.
The Roycroft is like stepping back in time. Excellent servers, bus boys very professional. Eat there quite often, always enjoyable.
Love it. I drive in from Rochester. Different and quaint… Great day trip area has cute shops and restaurants. I love staying overnight at the inn.
Always nice at the Roycroft. We always dine on the sprawling front porch. Last night the food was exceptionally good. Enjoy!
Fabulous place for lunch. The lunch menu is outstanding and the outdoor patio area is the best around. My favorite place to eat.
The Roycroft is a beautiful, historic building. We had lunch on the veranda on a warm summer day. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. I highly recommend the Roycroft!
Amazing experience and our waiter was great. Excellent food and drink.
Beautiful patio, service was great and food was fabulous!
Sean was our waiter. - the best I ever had at the Roycroft. I had the scallops and summer vegetable risotto It was excellent. My wife had the filet. She order it medium. It came more rare. Overall, it was a great experience.
On a sweltering day, I enjoyed lunch on the shaded peristyle where there was a beautiful breeze. It was very busy, all tables occupied. Food/service/atmosphere all top notch.
Had a wonderful lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service. Would recommend to all.
Everything was top notch
I had the turkey panini. It was very bland. It needed something flavorful like bacon or red pepper to give it taste and color. I didn't like that it was deli turkey especially considering the price.
Great place, food was very good, had a very nice time, recommended.
We have always appreciated this setting and the server, busser and hostess were superb and we thank them for working. We expected higher standards, for this lovely location.
Bread was disappointing: dry and tasteless, not warm. Beef tenderloin was not the most tender, lobster tail meat was lost in the risotto sauce and barely room temperature. Veggies were tough, no options were offered as sides and realized the mushrooms with beef were missed.
Flourless cake was the best part.
I ordered a glass of Prosecco on the menu. I don’t think it was as stated, and I questioned. Server told me to taste to see if I liked it which I did. It was lovely and sweet and I kept it but I do not believe it was the Prosecco listed on the menu and on the receipt it says Muscato. I don’t mind substitutions when necessary but I would appreciate honesty.
Flies were annoying I don’t know why windows or doors were open we were sitting inside masks are not required which was fine with us and we sat right next to an air purifier which we appreciated their efforts, but why did doors have to be open to allow flies in that we continually had to shoo away from our plates- for air exchange ? the flies are more concerning to me, and inside air conditioners have air filters.
It was not overcrowded indoors and tables were well spaced.
The background music, though more so in another room, was an annoying choice not relaxing, calming music at all it was disappointing. I heard some conversations in the background in the other room by staff about it. It really wasn’t piped into the room where we were so I didn’t complain to the server about it or Voice my opinion and it seemed trivial when they were so very busy SUE was doing her best, VERY pleasant, conscientious and attentive.
As usual, an absolute pleasure to eat here. Food was amazing and our server was a dream.
Five women ordered five different meals and we were all thrilled with our meals. The ambiance on the Portico at The Roycroft Inn can't be beat!!!
Wonderful dinner on the patio! Excellent service at the bar and at our table!
I have visited countless restaurants and I can honestly say I have put this restaurant on top of my list. Just a all around great Experience from the time you walk in to the time you leave.
Excellent service, relaxed instead of rushed, which was perfect. . Food was great as always….going back next week with another friend.
We have been to the Roycroft many times and especially like the Sunday Brunch out on their beautiful porch. We were brought to the absolute last table by a driveway, to a table that could have seated 6 (we were originally a party of 4, both 1 person woke up ill and unable to make it). We let the host know that we passed several tables for 4 and did not really like this location but was told that the seating was already planned out and did not have anything else available. Aside from being put where we were, our waiter, Sean, was phenomenal! So personable and nice, a true asset to the Roycroft staff.
Went to brunch- food was very average. Pasta was cold. Would have liked more salads/fresh vegetable choices- more healthy choices would be nice
Always a great atmosphere. The food is always fabulous.
