Enjoyed a wonderful birthday dinner with my family.
Food was spectacular and service was great. Menu had something for everyone from vegetarian to meat lover.
Excellent service great food
We were very pleased with everything from start to finish. Planning on bringing our friends in October.
We always love including The Roycroft as part of our summer vacation. Eating on the covered patio on a warm afternoon makes for a great experience and the food is exceptional.
The Roycroft Inn was such a treat on a multitude of levels. The surroundings are so incredible just sitting in the restaurant was a treat! The food was simply the icing on the cake. Every individual we spoke with was pleasant and helpful. From the moment we set foot in The Roycroft we felt welcomed. We loved it so much, we will be returning on the regular basis even if it is an hour long drive.
Excellent food with attentive service, plus "Uncorked Wednesday" made for a delightful evening!
Awesome menu, relaxed, spacious, historic ambience, excellent food and service, and the perfect place to celebrate my 64th birthday with my wife. Server Heather surprised us with an ice cream sundae with a candle on top. Nice touch! My fave place to dine in WNY.
Stuffed pepper app was delish, French onion soup and lobster bisque were very good. My scallops and risotto awesome, wife's filet ordered med, was barely med. Rare, not very well seasoned and undercooked.
Great food, awesome atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and you are never waiting on service. Always a great experience.
Tons of character, excellent food and service, somewhat limited menu.
Enjoyed a birthday lunch. Warm fresh bread , tasty fresh fruit cup. , chicken wrap. Tea served hot as it should be. Our table was overlooking the beautiful garden.
Dinner was wonderful. Service was outstanding. I would highly recommend to my friends.
I always love dining at the Roycroft and introduced it to a friend of mine. We had lunch on the porch- the lunch was delicious but the service was on the slow side. Otherwise, it was a wonderful experience.
A very enjoyable dinner date. We went on a Tuesday for Burgers, beers & wine. The burgers were delicious, perfectly cooked & very filling. The wait staff including the busers were all very friendly & attentive 😊 Highly recommended!!
Too many tables, not enough server support. Took 55 minutes from drink order to delivery. Drinks arrived at the same time as our wine ordered for dinner... love the Roycroft but not today.....must due better than this!
Went for burger Tuesday. One of the best burgers I’ve had. No propane after taste - always a plus. Great value for the price.
The quality if food was excellent. My family also enjoyed the array of food.
Excellent evening! Sat on patio and it was perfect. Service was excellent and food was delicious!!
Loved the ambiance of our outdoor table. It was not crowded at all on the Thursday we were there. Our server and other bus staff were all very pleasant. I found the time courses was a bit longer than necessary. The food was well prepared. My husband had the crab cakes and I had the soup of the day. Both were good. I had the roast Turkey panini and my husband had the turkey club. Again both were very tasty. We agree we'd like to come back to try their dinner menu.
Excellent food and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Brice was our waiter and was very attentive including helping us celebrate my boyfriends birthday. Staff was pleasant and food fantastic as always.
Good service. Good atmosphere. The salad special was pretty good, the soup was excellent and the breads at the table were very good. We enjoyed our lunch.
That was our furst visit to Roy Croft Inn and we liked it very much. I love the old world look it creates a nostalgic ambience. The service was excellent so were are dinner.
I loved my experience at the Inn. It never disappoints. The menu is so varied, you can always code something different. The flavors are mixed and the presentation of the food unique.
All was great except the bees outside bothering us
Very extensive variety of food; all prepared perfectly. Excellent, courteous, attentive service; Roycroft Inn did not rush diners resulting in a most enjoyable experience. String quartet was an added feature of a remarkable brunch. So enjoyable we bought Roycroft Inn gift certificates for our friends.
Clearly, one of the best places in Buffalo for a really nice brunch on a Sunday morning. Ask for outdoor seating....it's just lovely. Food was hot and delicious, desserts are out of this world. Definitely a place to put on your list.
Excellent food and ambiance. The only knock I’ve given is that the server cleared my plates before my wife had finished eating which is something I’d expect a restaurant of this caliber to know better than.
Awesome as always. This is our special lunch date place.
We are very fortunate to have this gem in East Aurora.
Enjoyed lunch at the Roycroft, service very good, food good. One disappointment- my luncheon date has mobility issues and the Roycroft has about 5 stairs for her to climb. An additional 3-4 steps to the restrooms. In this day of handicap accessible facilities we were disappointed and would avoid in the future, only for that reason.
The food was spectacular. The building and ambiance were perfect. Our service was unreasonably slow though. We had to ask the busser for another bottle of wine. When initially asked if we were ready to give our order, we asked for just another minute. The server did not return to our table for 25 more minutes to take our order. The food is pricey but high quality and delicious- perfect for special occasions.
Perfect day in a perfect venue
Excellent brunch. Brought some out of town friends along and they thought it was terrific. Will return again soon!
Asking food, amazing view. Amazing value! One of the best places around for brunch, dinner and drinks!
Vegetable crepes were tasteless. Only good thing on the table was the wine. Noise level was high due to wedding in banquet room. Really interfered with a beautiful night on the open porch. The doors to the banquet room were closed after we mentioned the noise was disconcerting....or rather annoying. And opened 15 minutes later. Our server was fabulous, btw. She was the only bright spot of the evening. Not returning soon.
Loved it. Did have a fly at the bottom of a glass of wine. Still loved it
This is fine dining in a beautiful, historic building! I highly recommend, especially in summer, so you can enjoy the soft breeze on the porch.
A couple of caveats-
I would love to see more local wines, spirits, & brews offered. Celebrate NY agriculture!
The flies were buggy during the meal. Not enough to dissuade us but annoying.
We love visiting the Roycroft Inn during the summer. I learned something this year, don’t assume you will be seated outside on a nice evening. While we had reservations, the hostess was going to seat us inside. I refused and then she found a table for us outside (in a terrible location). I also learned to request a table in the long section of the porch that runs parallel to Grove St.. While this was probably our least enjoyable visit over the 15 years we have made annual summer trips from Rochester, the food was excellent as always.
