While you can't beat the ambiance of The Roycroft we were quite disappointed in our meals. Our table of 8 all took advantage of the burger and pint special. Our french fries were at best room tempreture hamburgers were warm.Quite disappointing not sure why with all of us ordering the same meal, fries were not hot.
Service was good our water glass was never empty, John did an excellent job with keeping them refilled. Nice selection of brews, no disappointment there.

We had a gathering of 15 ladies who are friends and family to celebrate the holidays. The food was great, lots of choices, and the desserts awesome. We just wish the string quartet was in the dining room with all the customers rather than the food buffet area. Everyone was impressed and will be back . The waitress went out of her way to help us and wAs so pleasant.

Brunch never disappoints! Loads of options, more than anyone could eat. Nice, soft, live music while grazing the food stations. Beautiful place. Love it inside and out! Can't wait to go back!

Best buffet ever experienced. All wait staffers excellent - friendly and helpful. Busy Sunday but we were never rushed. Can’t say enough. Wonderful variety of food choices; stuffed sole and smoked salmon melted in your mouth; but then so did the desserts!

The food was delicious and the service impeccable. It was hard to make a choice from all the delicious options. I particularly enjoyed the ambience as I love mission furniture.

We have attended Sunday brunch here which was excellent. Thanksgiving was even better! We ended up with an additional person in our party and the Roycroft was more than accommodating! The food was amazing as well!

Reservation was made on 9 /7/17. At arrival we were told table would be ready in a few minutes, 25 minutes passed before seating. Table was on a servers path, and very cold and drafty as it was near a outside door. Restaurant was clearly understaffed for a holiday and the number of people in the facility even though it was buffet service. We got no service from our waitress unless we specifically caught her attention. While this is not what I have come to expect from this establishment especially since we were paying $42. per person, it was very disappointing as I had out of town guests for the holiday. The food was excellent, but the table service left much to be desired. I am not sure that in the future, I would recommend the Roycroft for dinner on a holiday.

The food was good once we finally got it. The kitchen was very slow. The waitress also kept apologizing for having a large party in the other dining room so that did not help. I would come back for the food and the ambiance.

Upon arriving for our reservation we were immediately seated and the hostess told us that there may be a wait for the waitress as they were busy. The waitress passed by us several times without acknowledging us. It was over 5 minutes before she came to our table to greet us and take our drink order. We both ordered the crepe special, it was filled with dry overcooked beef. The lentil and asparagus that were served as a side was terrible. It tasted like dirt. The rights that was served alongside was cold.

The brunch here is fantastic. There is plentiful, delicious food served in a relaxing atmosphere, with a string quartet playing in the background. The ambiance is relaxing and friendly, with excellent service by Rita. A lovely way to spend a Sunday.

I ordered the salmon entree which was exceptional with a wild rice and fresh vegetable sides. The service was great without being obtrusive and the ambiance is perfect , warm and inviting ,with the Roycroft style dining room. I think the meal was perfect and will go again and recommend it to everyone.

While traveling to visit Buffalo, NY attractions, decided to try the Sunday Brunch at the Roycroft Inn and then tour the various craft shops at the site. The brunch was excellent, the service top notch and the surroundings very quaint and historic. Highly recommend!

I had chosen the steel cut oatmeal. The oatmeal was so very dry. I was very surprised. I could not eat it. When I was walking out, I saw a man with the same order as mine. He had received maple syrup with his order. When I looked at the menu, it was supposed to be served with maple syrup. What a disappointment for a much anticipated breakfast get together. The waitress was just OK, not someone that I would expect in such a classy restaurant. The service could have been more accommodating.

We've been here several times recently and have found the cuisine to be delicious and the service excellent. The menu is progressive and well executed. And there is a good selection of wines at various price points. We live nearby and The Roycroft has become a favorite for us.

We love Olivia since she has been with us before. We just love her. We also love your bar, we had a drink before we sat down and really had a ball that night.

We were at our table almost 45 minutes before an order was taken. 30 would have been more acceptable. Both my husband and our friend ordered a dish that they did not receive. However, we weren't charged for the more expensive meal. My pork chop was as hard as a rock, really surprised me. So sorry to be leaving this response.

We absolutely love Olivia! I get the impression none of this was her fault. It looked pretty crazy that night.......Many thanks, despite the issues, she managed to make us really comfortable and happy!

We visited the Roycrift on Saturday of local restaurant week. We had a reservation but still had a half hour wait for our table but that was the only issue that evening. We were led to a great table with an outstanding waitress. The meals were awesome. Two of us ordered from the 20.17 menu and two of us from the 30.17 menu. The meal included soup or salad, entree and dessert. All four of us raves about our meals and we are determined to return to this restaurant.

The food and atmosphere were great. But our service was the definite downfall of a much anticipated evening. We felt that we were ignored the moment we were mistaken that it wasn't burger night and didn't order wine. We ordered a soda and a water. (Trying to be healthier.) We received a definite attitude from the server which was very unfortunate because I intentionally go here for the usual superior service. We said thank you multiple times and were ignored. (As in back turned to us.) We noticed other tables were significantly looked after. I also paid in cash and received incorrect change (short-changed) not once, but twice. My friend and I were extremely uncomfortable the entire time and informed the manager of our visit. I would recommend The Roycroft, but would advise requesting not to be served by this specific server. I never write bad reviews...I actually never write reviews in general. But this was a much anticipated evening that was extremely soured by our service. Istil will always love The Roycroft. This night won't make the top list though. As always, a high class place to dine, especially with friends. The food was excellent and the ambiance was marred only by a large noisy wedding party in a nearby room. I is still a favorite place and i is visually beautiful.

I was very disappointed in the brunch. Very expensive. Food quality was not there. We were there at the start of brunch and the food had obviously been sitting for hour/hours already. Not worth it at all. They need to stop operating on their reputation and step things up. I won’t go back.

The Roycroft Inn is one of kind & very special for any occasion. This was my sister's birthday celebration with her best girlfriends & it was a perfect location! The staff was amazing - selecting a wonderful table with a view, providing impeccable service, including serving our homemade cake & bringing it to the table with sparkling candles! The comfort food was perfect for the rainy cold day. We can't wait to return!

Four of us went here to celebrate a co-workers retirement. Everything about our brunch was fantastic. It was a beautiful day in September and we sat on the veranda. Just the right temperature with a very slight breeze. And the food - so much to choose from! Everything I had was so delicious, I wish I could have had room for more. There was a lovely string quartet playing in the main room where the food was set up, and the level of sound from the music where we sat was just enough so that we could enjoy it, but it did not interfere with our conversations. And our server (I wish I could remember her name) was very attentive and friendly. All in all, great food, great atmosphere, great service, great price. I hope to be able to go here again soon.

Food was excellent (pumpkin gnocchi, tomahawk pork chop) but, once again, it seems the kitchen was overwhelmed by a large gathering. Service was very slow but I'm not sure it was the server's fault. We may rethink going to the Roycroft on Friday nights.
