Lovely village pub, staff were really friendly and great with the children. Sunday roast very good. We had a lovely time and will go back.

The heritage beetroot starter was excellent and the main courses were very good - chicken, fish and chips and a pizza. I had the fish and chips which was cooked just the right amount and was moist without being oily. One minor quibble: my friend, who had the pizza, was given a large knife by the waitress to help her cut the pizza but the knife was blunt and she couldn't cut the pizza crust. The wait staff were very nice and friendly and the waiting times for our food (on a Friday evening) were fairly short.

Friendly professional service of excellent food. As a party of 8 including a baby being placed in the private room meant we were comfortable and didn’t need to worry about the baby effecting other diners.

It has been a long time since we were at this pub. It is now very much a restaurant and not a lovely country pub. The food was good. The staff were good. I felt it was a bit overpriced. It’s lost it’s individuality.
