Tables of all sizes are available throughout our spacious, stunning dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows and waterfall views. Guests can also dine in our adjoining cozy lounge, which is open year round, or on the lively outdoor patio, open Spring – Fall, weather permitting.
Our singular name represents several masterfully restored buildings that offer a full-service experience beyond just dining, including a boutique hotel and popular event space that holds up to 200 guests.
The food, service, view and atmosphere were outstanding. We definitely will be going back and recommending to others.
Awesome and good looking space. Food and drinks are culinary creativ ed and quality.
Waitress was great! Food was improperly cooked twice!
Incredible meal and service! We were staying at the hotel and had a beautiful table with waterfall view. Loved the cheese boards, cocktails, burgers etc
Food and service were just superb! I also received a nice surprise on my birthday. Everyone was so kind. Will go back someday for sure.
Raw chicken, burger after taste, horrible service. Took 20 min+ for a server to come to our table. No one came to check if we were OK. The only good thing was their Mac and Cheese. Will not be returning.
Engagement dinner, but we weren’t asked about the special occasion! It’s ok in the end. Food was very good, prices decent, service very good. Thank you!
Food and drinks are on par. Ambiance is top notch. Service was excellent
We were quite disappointed. This is not a great restaurant if you have a gluten allergy, the waitress was unfortunately not very knowledgeable about the allergy and seemed visibly flustered by the questions. They were unable to make any potato dish without gluten, which is really surprising and unusual. Could not make the beef/ rice dish without gluten either. The steak sauce was thickened with a roux made of flour (traditionally it is made of marrow), which is really cheap/ disappointing and unexpected of a nice restaurant. The steak was also unsalted. If you know and like good food, don't eat here. The interior & exterior space are absolutely beautiful though, if anything just come for a drink/app instead of a full meal.
BE CAREFUL! I booked an outdoor table here and when I arrived, people were being turned away because they were closing the outdoor area (even though it was 55% and only 6pm)
I had booked a month prior to going, specifically for outside, and requested a heat lamp so that I could propose to my girlfriend. When we got to the restaurant, after driving for over an hour, we were told we wouldn’t be able to sit outside, even though the restaurant had confirmed our reservation multiple times.
After complaining to the manager (almost ruining the surprise) we were finally seated outside, though far away from all of the many heat lamps that were being turned off for no apparent reason.
The food was decent, the service was good once we were seated, and the view was special, but their lack of concern for the Covid virus and complete disregard for the need for outdoor seating was disheartening and almost ruined my plans and the whole reason for choosing that spot (which has a beautiful deck and many outdoor tables reasonably distanced)
Many people were turned away while we were there that also wanted to sit outside but weren’t accommodated. Apparently the restaurant doesn’t want to serve the community in this difficult time or make money.
Call before going if you’re hoping to sit outside.
(Note: the manager was polite, as was the hostess, which makes the whole situation that much more odd)
A very inviting space for a very creative menu and delicious food.
I was very happy to see the 6’ distance and adherence to wearing masks! I felt safe and enjoyed the night! Food and staff were excellent
The food was excellent and the scenery was beautiful. I would give it 5 stars however my girlfriend and I came here and waited quite a long time for the food and drinks to come out and they also forgot our appetizer...our waitress was friendly & apologetic but, it was still pretty disappointing how long it took to receive our food and drinks and the forgotten appetizer. However, it did seem pretty busy so, it could have just been really busy that night but, I would definitely recommend this place it was overall an excellent experience.
First reservation desk waitress was unfriendly, inside of the restaurant was completely empty, yet the waitress refused to seat us inside.
Service was very very late and not up to standards.
Meals was limited and not up to our expectations.
The only thing positive on that nights dinner was the views from the patio.
Our first time dining here and we were very impressed, the food was delicious and the venue was beautiful. The view of the falls at night were amazing. Highly recommend visiting!
Absolutely delicious food & beautifully plated. Menu is my favorite - what I would consider farm to table Continental cuisine. Portions are generous size without being over done. We shared appetizers and each got our own entrées. Everything was delicious. The setting is beautiful & if you are a party of two I recommend you request a window table in making your reservation. The whole wall of windows overlooks Beacon Falls and it is A beautiful backdrop to a wonderful meal.
Came here for brunch at 11:00am and was able to get a table by the window overlooking the falls. Such a stunning backdrop for our meal! The service was wonderful and the prices weren't outrageous. Pork hash and bread basket were delicious, would order again. Overall lovely experience, would recommend for brunch!
I went here for me and my wife's Anniversary of 7 years. It was a 2:45 pm reservation and we weren't seen for until 3 pm. I specified on the reservation it was our anniversary and I would like a window seat to have a view of the waterfall. When we got there the hostess said "it's a little crammed at the windows" and sat us a different table. We were given the brunch menu and I asked since it is 3 pm can we look at the lunch menu. The server said let me ask the chef. The server then handed us the menu without saying anything. We ordered our food and it was okay, but while my wife is still eating the server asks " would you like to see the dessert menu. I said no, and he said "just the check then okay". He came around our table about 5 times to see if she was done eating. The entire time there we felt rushed and unwanted in the space. Our time spent there was only an hr and when we left there were people still there before we were seated so I'm not sure why we were being rushed. I never wanted to leave a restaurant quicker. Definitely would not recommend to friends our family and would rather spend money elsewhere.
The drinks and brunch were very good. Not sure if there was a problem in the kitchen but it took 45 minutes for the food to come out
I have to say, I was pretty disappointed with my visit. My boyfriend and I drove three hours to have dinner at The Roundhouse and decided to make it a nice Valentine’s Day weekend. This was the last vacation we had planned before welcoming our new baby as well. When we arrived for our reservation the restaraunt was surprisingly empty considering the holiday. Despite that fact, we were the only people in the dining room area that were sat at a table that was far from the view (which was the main appeal for visiting) even though there were several closer tables available. I asked our server if we could move to a table by the windows and apparently the manager said the tables were “preassigned” so we wouldn’t be able to. We noticed that no guests were sat at any of the available tables that were closer to the window the whole time we were there! How ridiculous! We literally planned our vacation around this restaraunt and my boyfriend couldn’t even see the waterfall from where we were sitting! It was far too cold to enjoy the view from outside otherwise it wouldn’t be a problem. Considering how much we spent there, we should’ve definitely been accommodated. We expected to spend money there of course and the food was good. However, we still left pretty upset that we couldn’t enjoy the whole experience. Definitely not worth the trip back. I wouldn’t even recommend it to people in the area or back home. You can get the same experience at any other steakhouse when the view isn’t included.
We had a lovely evening at Roundhouse. Overall it was very good. Our drinks, first two courses, and deserts were excellent. The only miss were our entrees. I expected my filet to be melt in my mouth butter. Instead it was just a little tough. We loved the atmosphere and the view. We will definitely return to dine there again.
The pre fix was ridiculously expensive
Food was good but not worth $95 each
Really cool restaurant though...awesome to look out on the water
We went for brunch with friends whose daughter is getting married at The Roundhouse in June of 2020. It’s a beautiful restaurant, the Bloody Marys were excellent and everyone enjoyed our meals. I wish I remembered our server’s name - he was fantastic! As was the support staff. Looking forward to our next visit to try dinner!
The food was great. We loved everything we ordered. And the service was excellent.
I'm a little torn, overall I would recommend The Roundhouse to a friend; however, I think we were there on an off night. We checked in for our reservation, asked if any window seats overlooking the waterfall were available, were told that a table was being cleared and we would be sat there. We waited, watched the table be cleared, noticed some confusion at the hostess stand (a change off?) and went over to speak to the new hostess to say we had a reservation and to mention the window table. She asked who we had spoken with, said she would check on it and then we watched as another party was settled into the table we were told would be ours. The hostess apologized, said their usual person had called out and they were a little overwhelmed. She sat us at a table near the window and said when a window table became available she would have us moved and that she would love to buy us drinks or dessert on the house. We started our meal, the window table next to us cleared and we were not moved and nothing on our check reflected the miscommunication. It is a small thing, sitting one table in instead of next to the window, but the way it was handled, the general confusion and lack of communication really started the evening off on a bad foot and seeing that the hostess didn't bother to convey any notes to our waitress left me with a sour taste. We didn't need free drinks or dessert or to be moved really, but don't say you are going to do these things and then not do them.
Waited over an hour when reservations were made. Only comped 2 drinks.
Spectacular setting, exceptional food. The setting at the Roundhouse is unparalleled adjacent to a massive waterfall. The food is locally sourced and well presented. Overall an excellent establishment!
Because of res confusion on their part, we wound up in lounge with wonderful view and same menu, with super waitstaff. Quiet, before large group arrived. Food was terrific (we had been told that it was not so good) and had a very, very nice evening.
3 of us had a table celebrating a birthday. We had a reservation and arrived right on time. There was a little scramble setting up a table for us, but it was a great location near the windows. Great ambiance, great view of the falls at night. Noise level was reasonably quiet, but the dining room was not full, either. Food was excellent, but a little pricey. Our waitress was very attentive and the service was excellent. A great place for a special occasion dinner! We'll go back.
The Roundhouse exceeded expectations. The service, food, atmosphere and entire experience were exceptional. Don't miss the radishes with whipped ricotta, an unexpected delight.
Service was great food was delicious! Would definitely recommend to friends and go again !
Delicious food, wonderful beer and wine, gorgeous venue. My only quibble is that there needs to be a few vegetarian and vegan options on the entrees - the list is too meat-centric. But otherwise, really delicious!
A unique, local Hudson Valley restaurant/bar/hotel.....a reimagined factory housing
a hip restaurant and bar and amazing rooms and catering premises onsite. Stylish
throughout, and fantastic food and drink! A must stop in Beacon!
The food was delicious and expertly and creatively prepared. This place is a destination, as well as a neighborhood gem for those of us lucky enough to live close by!
The service was also wonderful, our server went above and beyond in accommodating our party and answering questions.
It was a nice experience but we had requested a window view and made our reservation a month advance but when we got there the window seats were not available. They are a little pricey considering the food was mediocre
Excellent service, amazing food accommodated our requests, wonderful view & overall ambience.
Service was so bad we left
Staff very pleasant and professional, food was great and environment scenic
