- Appreciate the increased options, and vegetarian choices on the menu
- The lobster club is no longer what I used to remember it to be. It's been downgraded in quality and presentation with higher price due to "mass production": bring back taro chips please, as opposed to mundane potato chips!
Always such a beautiful place to eat and the food is great. I will never tire of the Lobster Club Sandwich. Others had a Dungeness and Prawn Salad that looked wonderful.
Celebrated our wedding reception at The Rotunda. The special requested arrangements were completed perfectly and the serve stafff made the lunch enjoyable and welcoming. The food was delicious and orchestrated with ease. Even though the room was full, we never felt rushed or ignored. My expectations for a wonderful experience were met at The Rotunda.
We were celebrating my best friends 70th birthday and I wanted to take her somewhere very special and memorable. This was it. We shared a drink and a lunch meal . It was awesome
Food and Service was great. View overlooking Union Square will be awesome once the construction on the square is all complete. Wife and I really enjoy coming here for her birthday brunch.
Great brunch spot in Union Square. It's fine dining but still casual enough to relax and enjoy a burger. All the entrees are very well prepared, service is professional and not rushed. Sit back, relax and drink a cocktail while the world keeps turning...
Group of 5 friends had afternoon tea on a Sunday. The table setting was nice as was the Rotunda in general. We chose different teas and were all quite satisfied with our choices. The sandwiches and treats were just okay. It's a fun experience but the food alone would not be worth the cost. Our service was not to the standards that we expected. Our server started out very attentive, but by the end of our meal, seemed either agitated or overworked. The water servers also had to be called to our table and we sat waiting for a good 15-20 min before he returned. To sum it up, go for the experience and know that's what you're paying for. The food and service on their own would not be worth the cost.
After coming here since I was a little girl service has slipped to an all time low. Everything took forever from water till my daughter’s birthday cupcake that arrived after dessert. If it wasn’t for the gentlemen delivering popovers and consume and the overworked server in the neighboring section, Im not sure we ever would have received our tea service. Sadly, this was all beyond disappointing.
Food is average and overpriced. You are paying for the ambiance, not the food. Good for people who like pretty places, are not food snobs and aren’t bothered by overpriced food.
