The Rotunda at Neiman Marcus - San Francisco
Champagne and Lobster fries are the best! You'll definitely feel like you out for a treat. If you don't have reservations sitting at the bar is always a great experience. The bartenders also give great service.
Always a delightful dining experience at the Rotunda!
Food was overpriced and underwhelming. You're basically paying for the ambiance and service.
Food and service was spectacular!!!
Starting from the host, the server and kitchen. Drinks from the bar was great too!
Will definitely come back for more!!!
Five star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ service!!!
Everything tasted great! From the crispy lobster egg rolls to the crispy cod sandwich. The lobster club doesn’t disappoint.
The ube flan was fantastic!
Staff is very attentive and friendly!
one of my favorite spots for lunch downtown. always delicious and fun. grazie
Lovely experience all around. The serving staff was excellent. The food was generous and delicious
Lunch is always wonderful at the Rotunda! Family tradition.
Our waiter was excellent! He was attentive, young, cute and made us older women feel special.
Our group meets for lunch here once a month and they always give us the table we like, the food is excellent, and the big windows overlooking Unuin Square bring in lots of light.
Our server, Jason, was wonderful — friendly, funny and knowledgeable. The food was good, but for the cost, there wasn’t much of it. Atmosphere was lovely, but the ladies room was truly disgusting — dirty, smelly, paper all over the floor, but none in the stalls. This really is unacceptable when one is paying $50 for a pot of tea, a few sandwiches and cookies. Overall it was a nice experience, but I don’t know if we’d return. There are several tea houses in SF where the prices are lower and the food much more generous.
I use the Rotunda exclusively for business meals. Very elegant, and service is always first-rate. Strongly recommended.
I just had lunch there by myself. Lovely ambiance, excellent service. Loved it!
Our waiter was lovely and the service from the staff terrific. My only disappointment was that I ordered the crab and shrimp salad and the avocado was replaced with slices of cucumber without giving me advance notice. It was a disappointment.
We went for my daughter’s birthday and they made sure she felt welcome, gave us a table in the window, and brought her a festive cupcake! The tea service was delicious and so was the lobster bisque. Definitely a highlight of our day.
The food is adequate, though for the price it should be much better. One goes to this location for its setting, to see and be seen, and people watch.
We had such a fabulous time having tea for five. It is a lovely place beneath the Rotunda and we sat by the window with a view of Union Square. The service and attention was tops, especially given that a member of our party had a dairy allergy and she was given her own plate of dairy free offerings. Another ordered tea that wasn’t to her taste and it was replaced with another option. It was a birthday celebration and is one to remember forever. Thanks! We will be back!
Food was delicious but over priced for the portion sizes. Real easy to spend $100 on two sandwiches, bowl of soup and two sodas for lunch.
We were seated right on time and the server was very attentive. The food was delicious and the service was fast. The food is a bit pricey for the value but it comes with a nice view and you pay for the service and the ambiance.
We had a wonderful time. All of the staff members were incredibly thoughtful and service was great. The popovers are amazing!
Great atmosphere, not noisy, pricey, farmed Norwegian salmon was almost tasteless.
Mini baby sprinkle
Food and ambience were great, but the server never came back to check on water or refill the tea pots until we flagged them down
$5 for a tea bag and hot water is just a bit too much. I have been going to The Rotunda for years, but it's lost something for me.
Always have a wonderful experience here. I like to dine there as often as I can
We ordered two crab Loui salads and noticed the green was not fresh at all. Also pop over was too harden. I was disappointed so much as well my friends too.
A lovely place to dine with people who you want to speak to and enjoy their company.
Food quality was sub par. The only this good was the tea and initial 2 appetizer. For the price I was paying, was really hoping that the quality of food was much better
I arrived early and the hosts didn’t seat me until about a few minutes prior to my reservation time although they were not busy and my table was ready. What baffled me was that there were a few hosts and no one could seat me just yet. That’s poor service as I asked if I could be seated. Our waiter was kind though.
always good food and service. We enjoy it very much after 20 + years, we keep come back.
It was great until Pam made our waiter take a break and she came on for him.
She was very impersonal and really didn’t care that our food or dining experience was unsatisfactory.
I was very excited that I had Finally gotten a table by the window after several times making reservations on Open Table and dining at the Rotunda and requesting a window table and it was less than perfect because of Pam’s attitude!
We had gone there for a celebratory Birthday lunch and it’s one of my favorite places to lunch when I’m in San Francisco.
Very pretty at first, however our booth was covered in crumbs, food wasn’t great. Just worth the view
The lobster club sandwich was worth a trip to San Francisco.
Only recommend for the location and experience. Poor service.
The Rotunda at Neiman Marcus provides an elegant and memorable dining experience. My Late Mom and I have been going there through the years for lunch and fabulous afternoon tea. We have brought people as well. Since my Mom passed away last July 2018, I wanted to share the experience with a special friend that is like a daughter to me. It was celebrating her birthday and recent graduation. The service and food were outstanding even the famous popovers. My friend plans to take her Mom there when she comes to San Francisco from South Korea as she knows her Mom would love it.
Celebrated a birthday at The Rotunda for High Tea
No Open Table dining points awarded for some reason.
Great food, service, and views! Only note is that it was a little warm in the room temperature wise.
Always pure joy eating and sharing fun at NM Rotunda
Celebrated my moms birthday here and they gave her a cute little cupcake with a candle and everything! Thanks Jason M. for the great service and entertaining my parents!
