   Horrible experience, incredibly disappointing. I specifically booked a window seat table for high tea and mentioned the special occasion in my reservation. The hostess was rude and immediately put us in a table in the back because my daughter was with us. And of course tea service wasn’t available despite it being an option during booking. Incredibly disappointing and nothing like the Rotunda service and experience I remember from visits prior. What a shame to watch another great location go down hill.

   Katiana, the manager, is thoughtful and accommodating. She made sure my daughter’s bday was special. We love the tuna tartare, crab sandwich, NM chicken salad, and the NM burger. Make weekend reservations well in advance

   Head chef Erik Harrelson and team create a reliably unforgettable dining experience. We had the lobster bisque, crab melt and the famous Cheeseburger at lunch and all were exceptionally prepared. The setting is fantastic. A work of art with bright lights and beautiful windows and ceiling. Our server David was fabulous, as were his support staff. We were treated with the utmost of respect and consideration. I strongly suggest anyone wanting to have a top tier dining experience to consider The Rotunday.

   We had a wonderful lunch. The food is delicious, the service outstanding and an amazing view! We had a great time!!

   I expected so much more from Rotanda’s afternoon tea. The food was so average that I was shocked!!!

    Quality and cost to a degree are in separable, while the cost is higher for the experience of dining in the Rotunda the value is terrific. Nothing in SF takes the place of overlooking the energy of union square while enjoying an exquisite lunch supported by impeccable service. In short, this is an experience worth the cost, indulge and enjoy yourself!
