Going to the Rosedale Diner is something those in Toronto, Ontario have done since 1978. Once again, I suggested to friends of mine to meat for diner at the Diner and they loved it! Love the friendly atmosphere, the very pleasant waiters and enjoyed the food. The vegetable tajine was quite a success with one of my friends; I had the chicken D. always juicy and extremely tender + cooked to perfection. My other friend had the hamburger and she commented on how juicy and tender the meat was.

Went there for winterlicious and the food was just amazing! The selection of the menu was different, outside of the ordinary which is always something I look for. And the service was excellent, nothing to add!

We came across this diner by searching for restaurants to visit for winterfest. Since it was on the list of restaurants we didn't really research to see what the restaurant was like or the menu and thought reserving through the winterfest website that is what we were going for. It was our first time attending a winterfest and let me tell you...it was a disappointment, especially for the kids. When we arrived it is a very small 50/60's style diner and not very well kept... After we were seated we asked what was available for winterfest and the waiter said we don't offer that until dinner...that was not advised when we booked this place. Although we travelled from Newmarket to the city :/ we didn't leave because the kids were starving. We ordered drinks and in my coffee the spoon, which was already inside the coffee stale food stuck on it!!! I think this is all I will have to say...go again? No...refer? probably not...

We have visited the Rosedale Diner a number of times and the food has always been excellent. The restaurant is comfortable, the atmosphere is pleasant and it's a good place to go with friends. The only downside is that the music tends to be rather loud. Overall -- highly recommended!

I love the Diner - have been coming here since I was a teenager ordering prosecco and sitting on my favourite banquette table in the back room. I am even almost used to the renovation but will forever miss the library book wallpaper! Great hummus dish for me the vegan, great menu in general for everyone and absolutely love the little cans of prosecco - lucky they do not sell these at the LCBO!! Will be coming for thirty more years for sure. xo

Was here for winterlicious 2016. Service was excellent, our server was very attentive and polite, even offering to try to accommodate my father, when none of the desserts were to his taste. The diner is very small and I wouldn't recommend going with a group larger than 4, even with 4 our table was a bit cramped. Food was good, but not exceptional, however portion sizes were very generous. Definitely more of a casual, diner like style as the name forgoes. Overall, the excellent service made the dinner enjoyable.

We went for brunch last weekend - It was exactly what we were looking for. Cozy, friendly, and delicious. Our server was upbeat and attentive. It was busy, so I recommend reservations. Can't wait to go back.
