This was an Amazing experience.
Excellent, I had a great meal and really enjoyed the restaurant.
Food terrible. Out of chicken and fish
In a city full of terrific restaurants serving incredible food, this fine dining restaurant is one of the best. The staff was delightful and attentive. Our waiter had terrific suggestions. For our anniversary dinner, we had starters of outstanding French Onion Soup and Bacon-Cheese Fried Oysters, followed by the chef's special 14oz Prine Rib with a side of Shrimp and Grits. Great wine and desert. Spectacular!
Steak was overcooked! Sent it back and the 2nd one was better but still not the best! Very dry and not tender!
We live on St Louis St and love visiting great restaurants! We had brunch Sunday and it was delish. Many food choices to try. Alan was very attentive to us and making sure we were taken care of. Will definitely be back soon!
We experienced great service and the food was outstanding a great way to celebrate our anniversary. Friendly staff couldn’t asks for anything to change
Best prime rib in the history of the world. The smallest cut was too much to eat.
Terrible meal and service!!!
Don’t waste your money!! Go to Ruth Chris or Dickie Brennan steak house. This place was terrible all the way around. From service to food to price!!
Superb restaurant with an old school
Club feel. From
The minute you walk in? Attentive waitstaff, amazing cocktails, humor and delightful
Delivery of menu, specials, details...
WE entertained friends from Florida. The biggest disappoint many was the French bread. It was stale and you tried to serve it as fresh. I had told Our friends how special the bread was!!! I realize it was Mardi Gras day but I also know that other restaurants had very greasy bread.
Mardi Gras Lunch- food delicious, service on this festive day-wonderful!
Really great food. We got the turtle soup, the shrimp and grits, the shepherds pie, the queen cut of rib, and 2 Cubans. All I’d recommend.
Hugo our waiter was experienced and made our anniversary one of the best ever. The attention to detail was wonderful and Hugo was great!
I can’t express just how amazing it all was. The device was friendly and fun. The Prime rib was the best I ever had (and I’ve had a lot) and the Chef knew exactly how I wanted it prepared and executed it to perfection, and added a fun commentary during its prep! If you don’t come here for a amazing dinner, you’ll have missed out on something special.
Really great food and excellent, friendly service.
Our server was excellent and the scenery was very pleasant. Food was okay but expected more for the price.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Rib Room. Rich and the entire wait staff were outstanding. The food was delicious and the atmosphere enjoyable.
Great location for outstanding food and service. Particularly good for special occasions.
Absolutely loved my time here visited with Hugo who gave us amazing service!
Extremely good food in a chic atmosphere, in the heart of the French Quarter. Our waitress was good but the other staff not so much...especially the bartenders.
Great food great service!
Amazing dinner with outstanding service! The place to go for prime rib! That bread is devine!
Only real issue was how very slow our server/service was.
The food was delicious and the service was impeccable.
Best ribeye steaks bar none!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. FIRST CLASS SUNDAY BRUNCH. CAN’T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE
The food was delicious and there were lots of choices. Great 3 piece band played. I think the service of the wait staff could have been better. Our waiter seemed to be doing most of the work while several others just stood around. Had to ask for drink refills and champagne several times. For the price, the service should have been top notch. Overall it was a nice jazz brunch. Work on service.
Very good food, great service. Lamb chops were wonderful.
Excellent place for solid prime rib.
We stayed at the Omni Royal Orleans and decided to try the Rib Room restaurant. It was outstanding! Our server, Hugo, was funny and courteous. My husband had the King Cut Prime rib, which did not disappoint at 18 oz with the bone. My 8 oz filet was perfectly cooked. Wasn't busy at 5:30 when we arrived but did get more busy as we kept dining. Great experience!
I’ve dined at the rib room multiple times, unable to count.
As a New Orleanian, it has been a go to favorite, often frequented.
Service was deplorable.
Order a martini on the rocks and it’s served straight up.
Order well brand and premiums are charged
Order one cocktail and multiple more show up throughout dinner, that were not ordered
Order soup before entree; no point i it comes out with salads.
I hope your not thirsty, water and Tea will only be refilled after the meal.
And the food; average prime rib experience. Avoid the lump crabmeat salad; heavy on the vinegar and salt. Simply put, I do not recommend at this time. Having discussed with friends the next day, it’s well known that the Rib Room has slipped. Hopefully, things will soon return to the better.
The meal was extremely overpriced for the food and service. Some of the food was bland. Although they had 4 salads on the buffet, none was very good. I would have liked more dressing, but there was none available. The shrimp creole was runny and had relatively small shrimp in it. The grillards was good with a good taste and texture. I love prime rib, and go there for this. In the buffet, the chef sliced the meat very thin, so to really get any, you would have to go back several times. It, however, was tasty and rare like I like it. It took active requests on our part to clear dishes we had finished from the table - this should have been "automatic" in a buffet! The choice of desserts was limited, and the ones they had were very sub-par for the "premier" dining experience I was expecting. Unfortunately, I would not go back, even though I love the ambiance. We go to Arnauds for brunch frequently - their food never disappoints, is of high quality, is $25 per person less expensive than the Rib Room, and the service is impeccable..
Amazing place! The staff was great and so was the food
Very wonderful experience at the fine-dine. Highly suggested place 10/10
Awesome. Great experience.
Food was incredible. We’ve been fans of Doris for the longest time, but the prime rib gave Doris a run for their money. Will be back!
