Cold food, but great flavors. Long wait, but pleasant staff. Management has a long way to go if they expect to be a long term fit in the community. Extremely disappointed with our experience and have no intentions of returning.
Food is fantastic. service was excellent!! Cocktails very good.
Portion sizes are really small for the price of the dishes!! Ambiance is good.
Cocktails are unique and week done. Deviled eggs fantastic. House cut fries awesome. We will return to try the fried chicken. Keep up the great work!
My husband ordered his burger medium. It came so well done he could not enjoy it. He didn't want to send it back and make me wait since my dinner was already served. He also said the french fries were very salty.
All ready told several people about our wonderful experience.
On my first visit, I was impressed with the setting yet the music was too loud downstairs. The quantity of the food was disappointing; the taste was unique and excellent.
We dined at The Revelry over the weekend and enjoyed ever aspect. The food was delicious, the drinks were even better. I had a Mr. Mule, and would highly recommend. We will be visiting again.
Food was horrible and horribly overpriced: the chicken wings were not cooked, the fish came on a dried up smear of puree and the pulled pork was absolutely tasteless. To cap it off the waiter was inattentive and had little idea about the menu or wine. Never again.
The new chef is terrific! Great twists on all the dishes! Kudos!
Outstanding food and service for brunch.
Some food items were bland or over cooked, while others were wonderful. Service was excellent beginning with the host.
Excellent service. Great cocktails and bartenders. Food was fantastic.
Food was amazing, staff awesome, bar area after dinner very busy, difficult to order drinks, expected on Saturday night though.
My wife and I love this place. Staff is always great and the food and drinks are outstanding!
Although we enjoyed the Revelry, we couldn't help feeling a bit jipped when we left. It is way over priced for quite an average meal. The cocktails were great and we enjoyed the atmosphere of the first floor and the service, but dinner was a bit of a disappointment.
Fantastic meal with great service
Great interpretation of southern fare and accommodating staff even though we came in very late. The biscuits are particularly good. A little noisy, though, on friday nights, which some people probably like!
We had a fantastic meal. The ambiance is so lovely and our waitress was terrific. When I made the reservation, I was asked if it would be a special occasion. I let them know we would be celebrating my best friend’s birthday. In any other upscale restaurant I have ever been to, they always bring out a complimentary dessert to celebrate. I was disappointed that my friend did not receive a special surprise. We, of course, could have ordered dessert, but that would not have surprised her.
Fantastic visit! Always great- new menu including marrow bones! Nicole, the raw bar monger, encouraged me to make use of the empty bone and do a “fat wash” which is a shot of bourbon poured down the bone! Sounds ridiculous and it was- ridiculously tasty that is!!! The Revelry is a top spot. They also always have great loud music in the bar and sitting at the raw bar you can hear it but still talk comfortably! Maybe your 80 year old granny may not like it but this child of the 60s ❤️s it!
Always too noisy, have to practically yell to talk to the person across the table
Server was very good and attentive
Fried entrees and appetizers are too heavily breaded
And almost over fried so gave food only two stars
Food was amzing! I love the inside of the resturant it’s so pretty.
From the moment we sat down our server Megan made our night delightful! The pork shoulder was absolutely amazing! Oysters are not usually my thing, but I enjoyed the fresh briny taste of the one I did try. The bone marrow appetizer was excellent, buttery and rich, exactly how it should be. I would definitely reccomend the new spring menu, and when you go be sure to request Megan if you want a relaxed, informative and completely enjoyable experience!
Food was great and once we were served, the service was great as well. As per usual, the bar and bartenders are fantastic!!
Food was outstanding. We got the shellfish tower as well as the steak. Cooked perfectly. Matt was excellent answering our questions and offering his recommendations. Mack downstairs made awesome drinks including the smoky bourbon old fashioned. We celebrated our anniversary here and will definitely be back.
A great reataurant inside of a wonderfully refurbished turn of the century building, limited VERY tasty menu, new spring menu just released, fresh oysters, good wines, beers and spirits..... great energy, we always sit downstairs to watch the clientele and feel the positive vibe, try it someday soon!
The new spring menu's great! Beet salad was an absolute highlight. Cocktails as always were wonderful! Very friendly staff and good service. Only downside was it was crazy noisy. A large party near us made it almost impossible to chat. We asked to move and they said they’d come get us, but no one ever did. A fun night out but it’ll be a while before we go back.
Waitress was a 10
A wonderful dining experience with great ambiance. The team at The Revelry executed flawlessly and all the dishes we had were full of flavor and perfectly cooked. I look forward to returning as soon as I can!
First time at the Revelry. Good food, good service, fun ambience. Will be returning.
1. Cocktails made with pre-made lemon concentrate; yuck. There was so much sugar concentrate in my East Ender I could not taste the Gin. Very poor.
2. Oysters - neither the east or west coats tasted very fresh.
3. Dinner options; limited menu and no specials. Hmm.
4. The creme brulee came out so cold it appeared obvious it was pulled from the fridge. Very hard and dense.
5. Service (by Matt) was good. We did not feel rushed and he was polite. The deco is also still nice.
Overall, the menu and cocktails have gone downhill over the last few years.
Will definitely be returning, some of the best service and food.
The best place to eat and drink fantastic service
Our server was very sweet and accommodating, but seemed new. If not, she was not very good. The food came out very quickly and was brought out by all different people which was unnecessary considering it came out almost too fast and it was not busy. The dinner came out before the salad. Boo. The host was very professional and took our app and coffee off the bill. The food was outstanding- especially brisket and blondie. We will DEFINITELY recommend and return. Tighten up your service a bit though
Loved the seafood tower and great staff. Nicole is the boss of that raw bar in a big way!
A nice place to enjoy. Good food, atmosphere, and service. It's in our top 3 places to go in Rochester.
Music was a little loud, but the place was clean. Staff was friendly, food and drinks were excellent. Everything was cooked as requested. We had a great time.
Great brunch day!
I love Revelry — for a drink after work, for a lovely catch-up dinner with friends, or for a leisurely Sunday brunch. Charming staff — a friendly, delightful, delicious experience always.
Very noisy hard to hear yourself talk. Portion sizes are small and the food isn’t that great.
