Good bartender Zac. Disappointed you were out of scallops.😢
Waited 20 minutes to be seated despite reservation. Entree arrived about an hour after ordering. Sand in the leeks. Creme brullee liquidfied.
Drinks were wonderful, service was great and the food very tasty (had the steak and scallops). Would have liked to seen larger portions.
Outside seating area was very good. Food was great and enjoyed every bit of it.
Inside was a bit noisy with music and with a lot of people drinking it was hard to hear well
Everything was absolutely perfect for my husband's birthday this past saturday. From the food, to the service, we were blown away by the details that are normally overlooked at other places.
Our appetizers were delicious, our main courses were cooked perfectly, and the dessert was phenomenal. They even gave us complimentary champagne because they had forgotten to pop a candle into the dessert cookie. Thank you very much for that!
I can assure you that we will be back again! We definitely recommend The Revelry to anyone looking for a fine dining experience.
Our server was excellent.
The menu is rather short on options. But the food was very good.
The experience e at the bar was outstanding. The bartenders are excellent and fun to watch!
We will return but we wish the menu has more options. Ex. Why not offer the pasta special as a "large plate" too.
Outstanding service. Great food and drinks. Had a great time.
Cocktails were creative and tasty. My coulette steak was tender and juicy. My wife's crab cake was amazing. Prompt and attentive service! Would definitely recommend
Pricey. Only 1 vegan option. Craft cocktails were good, but mocktails too expensive
Cocktails and wine were good.
Food was great.
Service (Server/Meghan), location and ambiance were outstanding.
Excellent drinks. First course a standout.
Overall it was fine. Oysters were great but our order was incorrect. The rest of the food was just “fine” and we probably would not go back.
Great cocktail menu, friendly servers, nice setting. We enjoyed eating outside. The oysters were so fresh. I would recommend the scallops and cheese biscuits
Everything was great. My only criticism is that the menu did not have much variety from my last visit. With a smaller menu such as the one offered, I felt that there would be more rotating or seasonal cuisine and was a little disappointed to see not much had changed since my last visit.
Excellent Food. Prompt, courteous attentive service. Craft cocktails. Upscale atmosphere.
This was our third visit to Revelry which has now become my favorite restaurant. We came with two friends who had never been to the restaurant before and they loved it also.
From the minute you walk in the door, you feel an enjoyable energy. The bartenders are so much fun, the wait staff is so efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu.
We love the ambiance. The downstairs is cozy and the upstairs has an industrial vibe which I love.
The entire restaurant, from the bar to the upstairs dining area appears to be so organized and clean.
We look forward to visiting you again during the summer where we hope to try your front, outside patio.
Save us a table!

Great food at a reasonable pric. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
I paid almost $100 for not a lot of food. So honestly it’s got a nice atmosphere and the staff are dressed well. But with a small menu the food is good. But really not worth coming for on any more than special occasions or to show off a little. Maybe that’s the market this place wants to see itself in though, and so in that way, they’re doing a fine job.
Food was salty
Excellent 1st meal. We'll definitely be back soon.
First time there. Will go again. Revelry Burger was excellent. Beer offering was not extensive enough as they are known for mixed drinks. Pleasant atmosphere upscale dining with unique for Rochester choice entree’s.
For a lot of reasons, when we travel we look forward to eating at higher end places with unique menus and in unique spaces. If you're looking for a unique setting, this place certainly qualifies. If you're looking for a spot on experience well, Rochester offers other places better suited to meet your needs.
The hosting/seating experience might be best described as eventual. We waited somewhere in the neighborhood of ten minutes to be seated, though several people were kind enough to greet us telling us that someone else would take care of us.
The entrance offers a great view of the bar, which not only overwhelms you with setting inappropriate music but gives you the opportunity to witness at a minimum of one bartender drinking on the job.
Also upon entry, you discover that the space offers clear glass floors and ceilings which seems cool, unless you're wearing a dress, in which case patrons can see both up and down it.
Finally, upon being seated, you discover there's a Sunday menu. Which would be fine, if the website told you there was a Sunday menu instead of the full advertised menu. Also, I'd advise having at least three drink orders in mind, as the bar will likely be out of the first two. The same goes for the choices on the already reduced food menu.
One last note on the ambiance, you might not mind eating a $30 entree to classic Metallica, however I'll pass.
In general, the kitchen did a very good job with the food on hand. The biscuits are legitimate, the pimento cheese perhaps the best I've ever had. The peel and eat shrimp was well presented and the cocktail sauce of high quality. The beet dish was well prepared. The one miss was the lobster roll which was a mass of mayonnaise smothered in what might have been capers on a poorly prepared roll and was more or less inedible.
The service was fine, formal and friendly, if harried. All told, though, for the price point the experience is a disappointment. I'd find a better alternative.
Drinks were great. The biscuits were excellent. The lobster rolls were good, and then there were the fried oysters. The fried oysters were absolutely bland, and mushy. As a New Englander who enjoys seafood, these oysters were the farthest from fresh. Definitely would not recommend.
Fun night out celebrating a birthday. Excellent cocktails, pricey food. Service was good. Appreciate that the dining was upstairs above the bar which helped with noise levels. Fun music.
Food was good, server was prompt, very pleasant and helpful but it took a long time for food to come from the kitchen. Noise level varied from no problem at all to bordering on unacceptable as people came & went -- we were seated on 1st floor as the stairs were more than a semi-disabled member of our party would have been able to handle. Unexpected & delightful bonus: we were treated to dessert as we were celebrating a birthday.
Cold food, but great flavors. Long wait, but pleasant staff. Management has a long way to go if they expect to be a long term fit in the community. Extremely disappointed with our experience and have no intentions of returning.
Food is fantastic. service was excellent!! Cocktails very good.
Portion sizes are really small for the price of the dishes!! Ambiance is good.
Cocktails are unique and week done. Deviled eggs fantastic. House cut fries awesome. We will return to try the fried chicken. Keep up the great work!
My husband ordered his burger medium. It came so well done he could not enjoy it. He didn't want to send it back and make me wait since my dinner was already served. He also said the french fries were very salty.
All ready told several people about our wonderful experience.
On my first visit, I was impressed with the setting yet the music was too loud downstairs. The quantity of the food was disappointing; the taste was unique and excellent.
We dined at The Revelry over the weekend and enjoyed ever aspect. The food was delicious, the drinks were even better. I had a Mr. Mule, and would highly recommend. We will be visiting again.
Food was horrible and horribly overpriced: the chicken wings were not cooked, the fish came on a dried up smear of puree and the pulled pork was absolutely tasteless. To cap it off the waiter was inattentive and had little idea about the menu or wine. Never again.
The new chef is terrific! Great twists on all the dishes! Kudos!
Outstanding food and service for brunch.
Some food items were bland or over cooked, while others were wonderful. Service was excellent beginning with the host.
Excellent service. Great cocktails and bartenders. Food was fantastic.
Food was amazing, staff awesome, bar area after dinner very busy, difficult to order drinks, expected on Saturday night though.
My wife and I love this place. Staff is always great and the food and drinks are outstanding!
