Our menu offers a modern interpretation of New England coastal cuisine and utilizes traditional native foraging, local produce, and the ethical use of the sea to create a unique and unforgettable dining experience. Selections change often to reflect the freshest ingredients and flavors of the season.
The food was excellent! The service and attention to detail and personalization was great.
I recommend installing exterior lighting for the grounds outside of the windows of the dining room. Carefully designed these could illuminate features, even in winter, such that the many windows in the dining room do not look like black walls.

Valentine’s Day. Everything was perfect. Literally. It didn’t hurt that we ended up at the best table in the house. The service was just right. Not too intrusive, which some times happens but as I said tonight was perfect. There was a fixed price menu and the chef hit it out of the park. Highly recommend.
The staff made us very welcome and went out of their way to make the evening special for our guest.
All aspects of this dinner were perfect from the welcome, complimentary valet parking, service, food, attention to detail. Will definitely return and highly recommend to friends.

We had a lovely evening at the Weekapaug Inn for a late holiday celebration with family. The staff was attentive and the food was delicious! It was nice to take our time and enjoy being together and everyone made us feel welcome. Food was delicious, creative and prepared as requested. We look forward to our next meal there in the near future.
We had a great evening for five (family and a close friend) with food and service that matches a top-of-the-line big city restaurant. The restaurant is quiet and calm which we especially appreciated.

For my appetizer, I had the Campanella Nerro. I wish I had ordered it as my main course! This one one of the best dishes I have ever tasted. Should be served at Jean George as it was that quality. CoD was fantastic as well!

It's expensive, but the whole experience was remarkable. The service people were sincerely friendly and couldn't have been more kind and helpful. The food was just outstanding. I went for Thanksgiving and they served the most tender turkey I've ever had - no kidding. (where did they get that bird and how did they cook it like that?) The drinks were well made, especially the martinis. I find that it's hard to get a good martini outside of NY where I live.

You come here for the food. It's quite close to perfect--seafood is wonderfully fresh, and the fowl is as tender and flavorful as I've ever had. The desserts were similarly delicious: crunchy creme brulee and tasty chocolate pie. Each of the dishes showed details of spice and presentation that stepped out of any ordinary experience. Even the amuses-bouche were exactly what the occasion asked for.

There was three of us for my wife's birthday dinner.My wife had the nectarine soup which was excellent. She also had the haddock which was too salty. My son had the oyster special which was very good but his rib eye was too salty.I had which I call a small seafood sale & duck breast both of which were very good. No dessert. View was excellent as was our server.
For the value based upon two meals being overly salty I would not rate it higher.

Given the beauty of the Weekapaug Inn, we were again disappointed by dinner in the restaurant. The servers are very nice, but over the top with near robotic friendliness that eventually becomes cloying. They need to take it down a notch. The food in general is of only fair quality. This restaurant consistently fails with fish--recent halibut was served completely dried out, with a very salty crust. It was basically inedible. Accompanying vegetables were cold and undercooked. Risotto was also too salty. The restaurant at Weekapaug reflects poorly on the Inn.
We were very disappointed having been to the Inn for dinner several years ago where we received impeccable service including from a sommelier and the food was gourmet quality. Saturday night our waitress made several mistakes, seemed not to know the menu, and the servers actually bringing the food consistently gave food to the wrong person. One order of wine was completely forgotten and the prime rib needed to be returned as it was incredibly tough. The other meals were average.
You always make a night out very special! Thank you for the sparkling wine, special candle and birthday/anniversary wishes on our desserts. Thank you again!

Fabulous food, great atmosphere and excellent service
Wonderful evening spent celebrating 80 plus years living with dear friends. They are Yale graduates, quite accomplished beyond being the most gracious, and kind people I know. We enjoyed, greatly, the ambiance, food, drink, and desert. Including living up to my recommendation to celebrate their hallmark birthday at the Weekapaug Inn! It was unfortunate to have five women join us in the dining room, conversing at a decibel level without regard to others, even as my guest quietly and politely bent down beside them, pleading for a modicum of consideration to others. The staff was unable to intercede with any lasting effect. We did appreciate the effort. We did get the noise level down finally, with a loud, high pitched, attempt at our own conversation - which seemed to halt the escalation. Weekapaug Inn is too wonderful to be spoiled by such distraction.

A wedding was taking place on the lawn, so we enjoyed a cocktail on the balcony with a view of the pond before proceeding to dinner. Our table was in a quiet corner lit by early evening sun, suitable for a special moment to enjoy complementary champagne to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary. The server described the various entrees in detail, and both of us enjoyed our choices. The sommelier clearly enjoyed helping us choose a delightful red from Bourgogne to accompany our fish dishes. Kudos to the chef for bringing haddock and cod to high and innovative levels. If we are in the area again, we will certainly return.
Such a great location with stunning views. We sat outside on the back porch. Disappointed that two of our meals were cold.

A great dining experience for our second - but not last - visit at Weekapaug. You canot beat the view nor the comfort of the dining room. Very nice cuisine, accommodating to dietary restrictions, and attentive service make dining at the inn very special in an authentic Relais & Châteaux fashion. We will be back.
It is a beautiful setting but the food is just ok. My family and I have enjoyed meals at several Relais & Chateaux properties in California, Italy, and France, so we were excited to try breakfast at Weekapaug. Our server did not ask if we wanted a second cup of cup even though my mother-in-law finished hers in 5 minutes. Our server did not check back in with our party after the food was served to see if we liked everything. The lobster omelete was very good, but you received a small portion for the large price. My kids ordered the Weekapaug breakfast and the eggs had little to mo taste. Overall, I would recommend this place for the truly beautiful setting but the food is just ok. For the price, there are better options available.

The Weekapaug is one of our favorite spots! The food and service are impeccable with a notable wine list. James and staff always take it a step above. You absolutely can't go wrong here with a lovely atmosphere in a prime waterfront location.
