The Restaurant at The Raleigh - Permanently Closed Ratings and Reviews
The manager and wait staff have been beyond attentive in the few times my friends and I visited the Raleigh for dinner. The food--and the customer service--is beyond excellent. We've visited several times for Miami Spice and plan on dropping by a few more times. Love this place! Everything about it, EVERYTHING!
Great ambience at night is very cozy. The food was good we order a dozen of oysters and the lobster roll buns which were great. For main course We ordered steak and salmon and for desert we had the sorbets. I waited a few minutes at the bar great cocktails! Overall a goos experience bit overpriced for my taste food quality from 1-10 I give it 7.
Made a reservation via OpenTable. We were seated right away. We were attended to by our waiter almost immediately. Our food order came out rather quickly, although all of our orders did not arrive at the table at the same time. Overall, the food was good, not great. Since we visited for brunch, we all ordered omelettes. They were nothing to write home about. However, the pancakes and fingerling tostones were very good. Overall, the bill was reasonable, however some individual items were overpriced, i.e. the $4 bagel with cream cheese. Nice experience, but don't care to go back.
The food was amazing... what a great find! Try the Brussels sprouts app. I don't even particularly like Brussels sprouts and I just couldn't have enough!! Michael, our waiter, was great. Very friendly, provided great recommendations and was very attentive. Can't wait to go back!
Honestly it was miami music week and I made my reservation on open table, however they did call to confirm the reservation and TOTALLY failed to mention they were having a pool party that night with a massive tent and dj. The music was so loud that the tables were vibrating and so we opted to sit inside essentially in the hotel lobby to eat. The reason I wanted to even go here for dinner was because the outdoor area looked really nice and I usually choose restaurants based on a combo of the menu and ambiance- and this one I chose for ambiance! I honestly feel scammed. How could they not tell you that the place was going to be a mob scene of drugged up teenagers in bikinis and light up shoes and all this ridiculous crap you're not exactly looking for during dinner. We came from fisher island so if we knew it would be like that we would have just stayed on the island instead of taking a ferry and sitting in traffic for a dinner that was essentially one of the biggest let downs in terms of vacation dinners. Oh and by the way nothing was even on their website about this event either. I was literally scammed because they wanted their restaurant to make money that night. No respect for their patrons.
We went on Valentines and they had a Valentines menu for that occasion but did not give us the regular menu . So we ordered off the one they gave us figuring that was the only menu they were serving . Spent $200 on small portions and not the good food for the price. Not going back
