Would I recommend? Absolutely. This is a must for wine drinkers who like food, but also for none wine drinkers alike. A little pricier than your average local eatery, however, they are competing with them. High end, thoughtful found, grown locally, well prepared and innovative.
Lovely people ( a special shout out to Bailey) to serve the food and drinks, wonderful facility, only way to improve it is to move it 300 meters up the escarpment so you could clearly see the lake!
Not our first time and not our last.
We didn’t realize lunch to transition to dinner menu changed after 4pm so pizza only or stay for dinner - it was good food great wine and good beer
We had a very nice server but she made a mistake and did not order our 3 year-old’s dish.
The fish and chips were overly bartered and the fries and grilled cheese were just ok. The oysters were great. The ambiance was very nice.
The food and menu should be improved to reflect the prices and atmosphere.
Wonderful venue central to Beamsville wineries. Impressive chef previously trained at Langdon Hall. Great place for live music during evening concert series. Wine options limited to to Redstone winery.
We enjoyed a wonderful winter evening at Redstone -- warm ambience, gracious staff with excellent food and wine!
Best staff ever!
Food was good. Amazing selection of high end French wines. Would have preferred a greater food selection
Wonderful place to enjoy great food, tasty wines and a great ambiance. Staff is superb.
Had a great server loved the food but we stood at the door waiting for 10 minutes before anyone came to greet us and check our reservations
Always a great experience the best patio! But inside is modern and great 👍 on cold days and winter. Great place around. Of course delicious wine 🍷!
Whether it’s in the summer on the patio for a nice “friends and neighbours” pizza evening. Or it’s a great ceiling to floor view inside in the winter, Redstone is one of my fav gems in the bench winery area and I wouldn’t trade it in for any other. Keep up the amazing work!
Birthday dinner celebration for our son. We were in the only people in the restaurant. Food and service were fantastic.
Always a lovely experience. Food is always delicious even though the menu is more limited in the "off" season. Service is always as it should be. Always a pleasure to return.
Still floored that fish and chips and burgers for five cost $300 at lunchtime.
As a friend said, obviously gouging the GTA'ers.
That said, setting was gorgeous and our service was amazing.
Won't return though, can get way fancier food for the same expenditure in Toronto. Sadly not worth the drive.
Well prepared food along with an excellent wine list. Service was attentive without being intrusive (thank you, Alison). Well worth the drive from Niagara.
Loved it and would definitely go back.
I was to the patio in summer and everything was great, service and food, loved it. When I made reservation for Wed I was not aware that you did not have a regular menu and we were forced to have pizza. There were only two other tables when we arrived and our waitress was anything but attentive in offering drinks, appetizers. I had looked on line and knew the menu was limited but not to pizza. When we asked waitress about menu she told us it was locals night for pizza.
The lady in the wine shop was great.
Great lunch over looking the vineyards. Service was great with wine pairing and some extra tastings.
Good size lunch portions, wine was tasty, service was excellent.
Lovely view from the restaurant. Good and attentive service. Lunch menu is minimal but had enough choice. Had the pizza and it was very good, portion size was good.
What’s to say. Once again, a great bistro experience. Lovely service. A limited but beautifully balance menu. Excellent execution on the food. For example, the best fish and chips. Totally fresh oysters, with condiments. And an aspect work gold, with the vineyards stretching out beyond the patio. A favourite of ours on the Bench.
We did lunch here. Everything was excellent.
This restaurant was recommended to us by friends. We found the menu limiting, service sub-par and just were not thrilled with the meal we received. Steak wasn't that great, It was just ok- could have cooked it better at home myself. Wasn't impressed with the wine either.
Excellent and friendly service, great food, and especially good value on friends and neighbours night! We'll be back for sure!
Limited lunch menu, but great opinions. Lovely atmosphere
Friends and neighbors night (Tues & Thurs) was great! Good food and wine.
Absolutely fabulous lunch! Food was excellent....service exceptional
My spouse and I eat at a lot of wineries and “expensive” restaurants in the area. This is the third or fourth time I have personally eaten at this restaurant, but the first time I’ve been a guest for dinner.
The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the food was good, but the service was poor - especially for the price point ($200 for two adults). Here are a few examples of the poor service: we received bread and had to ask for plates, drink glasses were left empty for long periods of time without refill offers, there was an unusually long gap between our appetizers and entrees, our plates were being cleared away when food was still on the plate (without even asking if we were done with our food), & our waitress didn’t seem to be knowledgeable about food & wine pairings.
I love the aesthetic & relaxed atmosphere of this restaurant, but overall, we were all disappointed with our dining experience. The level of service does not even come close to other restaurants in this price range.
The dinner menu reads somewhat exotic. Trying to obviously impress. The portion was somewhat skimpy based on the price.
Sevice was good.
I was disappointed they had no non alcoholic beer.
We won’t be hurrying back for dinner.
Great food & atmosphere. We enjoyed delicious pizza for lunch along with some wonderful wine. Would highly recommend!
Despite being rained out on the patio we were pleasantly surprised with the interior look and the food was outstanding.
We sat outside, it was beautiful and we loved the experience !
The peach salad was overpriced at 19$ considering what was in the plate (4 arugula leaves, 2 pieces of brie, 1 small peach, a few blueberries). Also, when we asked for bread we were told we don’t have serve bread at lunch.
My salmon was uncooked in the center and has to go back
Went in on thursday for our anniversary. Menu is specially priced on tuesdays and thursdays which was great with $6 glasses of wine. Server was extremely attentive and the food was amazing. The pork was one of the best ive had and the stone fire pizzas are excellent. Ambiance and setting outside and in are cozy. Wines we tried were great. Would not change a thing.
This is my second visit to Redstone. The first time we saw Terra Lightfoot in concert...amazing night of great food and entertainment. This time we dropped in for some “za” and wine on the patio. Perfect weather, perfect venue, perfect pizza!
Great spot to stop on the way back from the Shaw Festival. Love the Tuesday/Thursday friends evening meals. Felt the regular menu is a bit overpriced but the uniqueness and deliciousness made up for it.
We have gone to friends and family night many times. This visit was disappointing. The margarita pizza was absolutely drenched in red sauce and not much else. We ordered the creme brulee for dessert - it was missing the fruit chutney that was supposed to accompany it and the top was over- bruleed to the point of being burnt. The waitress never returned to ask how dessert was, just brought the bill as it was the end of the evening. The band was great and the patio is gorgeous.
