The Restaurant at JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery
Lunch and brunch are served a la carte and while reservations are recommended, walk-ins are welcome. The dinner menu is prix fixe and features seasonally-inspired dishes crafted by the Culinary Team at JUSTIN. Reservations are required. The experience is both intimate and complex, and we ask that guests be 12 years of age or older. Please inform us of any food allergies prior to dining.
Please call the concierge to inquire about our NEW shuttle service from the Downtown Tasting room to the Restaurant at JUSTIN at the Estate. This service is available for our 6:30pm seating only.
Meal was OK but main course of steak was overdone. Sent it back and still was overdone.
Beautiful setting. A great selection of wines. The brunch items were not as terrific as the setting, but it was convenient.
The brunch was ok. The food was cooked unevenly. The Ham under the eggs benedict was so over undone it was burnt. It took so long to get the food that I just lived with it. Sitting outside was wonderful and the venue is fabulous. Been there done that not sure I would go back.
One of the most incredible dining experiences we’ve ever had! We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, and from start to finish the staff at Justin made this a truly memorable event for us.
We’ve never had such personalized service anywhere in the US or abroad, and we felt like VIPs!
Our server Amanda was so attentive, knowledgeable and delightful. We nearly had a private dining experience in the gorgeous dining room overlooking the vineyards at dusk. We could not have asked for any more perfect way to celebrate our special day.
A shout out to their option of adding on a driver for the evening. Our driver Peter was so knowledgeable and accommodating. I’d recommend this option if available to you, especially if you partake of the wine pairing with your meal. Why drive when you can be safely in the hands of a driver?
Thank you Justin and staff for a beautiful and delicious dinner.
Service was exceptional, friendly, attentive and efficient. Brunch omelette was delicious and wine the perfect match. What a great experience.
My boyfriend and I went here for dinner to celebrate both my birthday and our anniversary and we nearly had the place to ourselves which felt so special. We had a very attentive waiter, but who also let us be when he could see we were in conversation. All of the courses were delicious and they were even nice enough to cater to our tastes (we don't like beets or mushrooms and both were on the menu). We opted for the reserve wine pairing and each course had a healthy pour but without pressure to finish each one so we could still walk out of there.
The food was excellent. I am somewhat adventurous but my husband is not - so going into it there was some apprehension not knowing the menu but we figured if you don't give people a choice, then likely the ingredients aren't too bizarre or too spicy, etc. We were right and everything was very interesting with great flavor combos, but nothing that was too over the top. We really enjoyed it! The portion were generous enough without being too much so at the end of 5 courses we were comfortably full but not bursting at the seams. We really enjoyed it, and the location is lovely with excellent staff and we would highly recommend it!
Awesome experience! Came for a 21st birthday and it was the right choice. Attentive staff and delicious food that was a good value for the price, but if you’re looking for an inexpensive option this is not the place. Will definitely be returning here again soon!
The food was great! Our server was wonderful. The only unfortunate part was... they do not have a dessert menu when we went there for lunch.
I was very disappointed. First of all, I was expecting a tasting menu which is not available at lunch. It was freezing and super loud. We stated at the beginning of lunch our plan to go to the wine society room afterwards yet no one conveyed this to the appropriate person. After lunch when we asked for the gate code for WS access we were told it was a two hour wait (and why don’t we have lunch first)!
Incredible. This was the total package. Just amazing. Kirby was our server and he was fantastic. The chef spoke with us and discussed the experience.
We took the shuttle from the downtown Justin winery. When we arrived at the downtown facility, we were given a glass of wine. Fantastic service both directions. Well worth it.
This is a must do when visiting the area.
Waitress messed up one of the orders, then asked him if he'd be okay with the shrimp (which he didn't order) as she brought out the rest of the order. He waited awhile to get his order. For a couple of us, we had indigestion all day long and gas. Beautiful place, overpriced in my opinion and not worth the cost.
This restaurant is in a beautiful bucolic location. The restaurant, while small is quite pleasant and the outdoor seating has heaters and a lovely view. The experience of getting there, the charm of the server and the quiet ambiance of the room made it a wonderful place to be for a double birthday. The food was good but not great and still it was wonderful to be there.
This was the most amazing fine dining experience we’ve had in a long time. I strongly recommend this restaurant- particularly during the Saturday night dinner experience.
This was an amazing adventure! Our waiter, Kirby , graciously changed our reservation as we were running late from our Hearst tour. Chef Tim was fabulous! The food was spectacular and so as the wine pairings. Again, thank you, Kirby and Chef Tim for making us feel so special.
Beautiful setting on a beautiful day. Was a magical meal with friends.
Very enjoyable evening, but not sure it was worth the drive or price.
Made the trip to Justin for the chef tasting and reserve wine pairing. What an experience! Food was delicious, wine selection unrivaled, and service was fantastic. Worth every penny this was a treat.
Menu is not elaborate but the quality is outstanding. Fresh ingredients prepared with flair.
The food and the service was truly outstanding. Our waiter, Mr. Kirby Bonta is a superb knowledgeable professional that know his trade and is attentive, courteous and had plenty of flair. Just great. Thanks
The view and weather were perfect. Unfortunately there were a couple yellow-jackets, but that's the nature of wine country. Unfortunately, the menu here has gotten really small. It was probably twice the size last year and, naturally, had better options.
Service that bordered on the snobbish. Of the many creative prix fixe menus we have enjoyed, this was fairly pedestrian. The changes in the dining room, under the present ownership, give the ambiance of dining in a showroom. Would not recommend and will not go back.
Our server was great - very accommodating to our two sons. Outside seating was not feasible due to wasp season. Very limited menu with pretty high prices for lunch. The setting is very nice, server was good and food was decent. It's our third visit but we don't know if we'll be back -- the lunch menu is very limited and prices are a little high.
The Brunch was great as was the ambiance sitting outside but the reason I gave it 4 stars as opposed to 5 was that we were surrounded by yellow jackets. Very prevalent throughout the whole patio even with fans tying to keep the away.
But we love the brunch here and will come again at a different time of the year and hopefully the bee's will find someplace else.
Amazing tasting menu. Fresh and seasonal. I highly recommend doing the wine pairing, especially for the Obtuse with desert since they don't sell it.
Kirby was an awesome server. Most parts of the meal were excellent but the grilled okra was inedible. The halibut and ribeye were some of the best we've ever had. Wonderful and interesting vegetables.
We celebrated my birthday here and it was so lovely!! Amanda was our server and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. We ended up joining the wine club and buying some wine. The food was delicious. It was just the right amount. It is expensive especially with the wine pairing. But worth it!!!
We chose to dine indoors, and were shocked to find not one - but two! - dogs in the dining area. As there is an outdoor patio, there is NO reason to allow dogs in the indoor restaurant.
My wife ordered the salad with chicken, and the chicken was RAW. Unfortunately, my wife did not find out soon enough and was ill Friday night.
Jill was our server and was excellent!! She was personable, knowledgeable and provided exceptional service.
Jill was great - the raw chicken and the dogs indoors will cause us never to return.
My favorite restaurant in Paso Robles
Had a great lunch on the patio prior to our cave and wine tour. Ended in the wine society area. Will repeat when we have guests again.
We'd been members of the winery for a while and always looked longingly at people eating in their restaurant...and finally had a chance to experience it.
There were only 2 other couples dining....which seemed austere. I don't recall any soft music...very very quiet. There was a very long period of time between courses (it was a pre fix menu) which seemed odd.
the food was excellent....the service, because of the long wait, and there only being the 3 tables, seemed slow and forced.
I would not do it again.
Got there early, we got seated outside right away. Our lunch was lovely and delicious. Wait staff is amazing and we had a wonderful time
My wife and I celebrated our 17 wedding 👰Anniversary at JUSTIN Winery.
That staff was great and friendly as so was the food, wine 🍷 and ambiance.
We are already planning a trip back and we joined the wine club as well.

Gorgeous setting, great food, attentive service plus the worlds best wine. We were there for Sunday brunch on the outdoor patio and it was a lovely start to the day. The eggs Benedict were perfect.
Fabulous food, Ambience and Service. Outstanding. Highly recommend
Food and service were excellent. Our server spent time answering our questions about the food, winery and area. Don’t see how it could be any better.
Love this winery! Highly recommend their patio for lunch. Great views of their vineyards. My wife and I spent the morning doing a tasting and wine cave tour. This was a perfect post-tour experience. I don't know what they put in their burger, but we added the fried egg and it was delicious!
The manager was able to secure our lunch seating indoors as it was too hot for the beautiful patio. He also made sure to provide excellent service. The only disappointment of the six entrees was the seafood dish. It should have been listed as an appetizer. The wine is a show stopper. It is on our to do list again.
While expensive it is an experience like no other. Amazing food and beautiful grounds. Service was outstanding.
Excellent food, wine, and friendly service. Very nice views on the patio. Highly recommend.
