New menus in this most stunning and contemporary modern upbeat area in Surfside. This idyllic gem nestled with stunning views of the beach whilst dining al fresco next to all that is Bal Harbor.
The menus range from small sharing plates (Tapas Style) that come to the table as they are made.
Be prepared as the plates are smaller and designed to be shared so everyone can enjoy a lot of the gourmet tastes together and priced accordingly. You will need 3-4 plates per couple for a satisfying culinary experience.
We validate parking to $10 per table.

First of all they’re doing renovation at the restaurant and they don’t even tell you when you make a reservation.
We went there for the breakfast buffet which was minimal because of the renovation. They didn’t have the omelette station, there was less food than usual and the smoked salmon was in the sun. The server was nice, but bad experience though

Service was adequate, food was at or above average... what i did not appreciate though, was getting my credit card slip without an itemized bill. I'm usually a 30% tipper, and i know the area well enough to know that it is usually included... I was in the biz for years, I would've made up for the lesser tipping tourists seated around me... so please don't try and pull a fast one on me in an attempt to get tipped twice. Your loss kid, be confident in your service and know that you'll be rewarded for a job well done. I would've left substantially more of an additional tip if you were forthcoming/honest. This left a very bad taste in my mouth and I will not be returning.

The server approached our table and just stood there. There was a set menu for NYE, but he couldn't explain any of the courses. We literally had to ask him what he needed us to say!!
The food was overpriced and subpar.
You could tell that the servers/managers weren't used to having a crowd.
Horrific experience for $300!

They hired a bunch of very young waiters and waitresses who obviously were not trained how to serve. Our group of men and women were served at the same time (ladies have to be served first), and they mixed up our plate (We ate on New Year's Eve).

It was 7:45p and it was empty. Which always makes one want to make a u-turn when this happens but the staff was nice and welcoming and so we gave it a try. The ambiance is beautiful so this makes you want to stay and eat. We had the coconut shrimp, goat cheese balls for appetizers and the Ahi tuna, scallops for entree. Nothing to write home about. Sorry. Wish I could say it knocked my socks off - a 3.5 at best.

There were only two tables occupied, we were seated promptly and waoted for the menu. We waiting a long time for the waiter to show up to take our order. I had to try many times to get his attention since he was talking to the only other customer for a long time. Finally we ordered seafood and pasta and rizotto with short ribs. The rizotto was overcooked the short ribs cut up and together with the mushrooms all mixed. It was pasty, not tasty. Again tried to get the attention of the waiter no luck ate the food. Finally he came over to ask how it was. Seafood had three mussels and three shrimps and some scallops. The portions very small. Went to publix to get ice cream. Taste was no good

Grate restaurant and the food was very good! It have a beautiful ocean front eating area.

Party of 3, one being elderly with limited mobility, using a walker. Our food at lunch was quite tasty. My husband had the mahi sandwich, which he enjoyed. Our guest had the chicken flat bread, and she really enjoyed it. I had the lentil salad, which was very tasty. For dessert, we shared macarons--excellent. At the end of the meal, our guest had a problem getting up and standing. My husband was getting the car and wasn't around to help. The staff were fantastic, helping me get her up.

It was raining when I came. So we count get sitting outside.
The restaurant is very noisy and windy because all the open doors going in and out.

It's a great location, beautiful building, but the place is "cold".. there was no-one there on a Sunday night.. Not a Miami style restaurant.. needs a lot of work to become one.. but surely has the potential..!

I loved the restaurant. The staff were helpful and friendly. The ambience was terrific and the view of the ocean breathless. I'll definitely be a return customer
