Charged $1 over the stated price for a glass of wine. This also happened to me the previous visit. The response was "good catch". Again, the $1 charge is insignificant but WHY.

We’ve been here a few times. Excellent service. Amazing chef. Everything we’ve ever ordered has been delicious. There is plenty of seating and some separate rooms, which breaks up the noise. One of my favorite restaurants, ever!

Memorable evening and frankly, the best food anywhere near Mammoth Lakes. We loved everything about the dining experience and food was outstanding. Service was top notch and we will definately be going back.

My dad was celebrating his 88th birthday this past week. The wait staff was exceptional with him. He is hard of hearing. She took the extra time with him, making sure she gave him the respect and attention he needed/deserved. The food choices were great and my parents were so happy with the meal. My husband and I enjoy this little spot in the mountains and try to remember to treat ourselves as often as we can.

Best dinner in the Mammoth Lakes area. It is a higher end meal but with the money. I had their soup of the day which was carrot. It was fantastic and fresh tasting. My husband really enjoyed the arugula goat cheese salad and his beef Wellington, I had the salmon which was equally delicious. The portions are large, so bring a good appetite,

The meals here after fishing all day make you want to never not have a meal there when you’re close enough to do that. I mean it’s the best best food ever. I look forward to it every time we come and stay here at this resort.

Have been coming here for at least 40 years. It's an eastern sierra staple. It seems to have lost some of its charm. Wait staff are dressed casual and do a good, not exceptional job. Endive salad was very good. Rack of lamb was very tough and hard to cut with the steak knife. The surf n turf special (scallops and rib eye) was very good. Things cannot always be top notch, and the Restaurant at Convict Lake will remain a staple!

We had a lovely dinner, served by Kurt, who has worked there for 14yrs! He’s a wealth of knowledge and has excellent recommendations. We started with the roasted garlic, and likely will skip ordering it moving forward. It was ok, but hoping for more flavor. We enjoyed the Rainbow Trout & Filet dinners. Both cooked perfectly , packed with flavor, and finished with the Apple Strudel w/ a butterscotch sauce. Ended the night chatting with the table next to ours. Overall, it was a delightful meal and evening. We will be back!

We enjoy treating ourselves to dinner at this restaurant every time we stay at or near Convict Lake. The food is top-notch; the presentation was beautiful and my filet mignon was tender and cooked perfectly. There are many wonderful wines to choose from. The desserts looked amazing but we were too full to order any. Our server, Cherise, took great care of us. We will be back again!

This is my backpacking crew’s reward every time we come off a nearby High Sierra adventure, and this year was as magnificent as always. Great food, nice wine list, excellent and enthusiastic service by Brian. Probably one of the top five restaurants in the Mammoth Lakes area and it’s open year round.

We have visited this restaurant several times. It's always nice. This time I had the Salmon, hubby had the filet. Both were delicious. My Caesar salad could have used a little more flavor, but good. Our waitress was terrific. No rush. We enjoyed our evening.

The food is phenomenal. The pairing of different flavors was exceptional. The warm goat cheese and arguella salad was delicious. Seating with reservations was 15 minutes late. Service was good but slow. The entire dinner service took 1 1/2 hours

Our waiter. Kurt was exceptional. A few of the waiters have been there for over 20 years and you can tell. Also, try the bananas, foster, unbelievable. There’s nothing else like it except for the rainbow room in New York.

I’ve had better waiter service. It was our 20th wedding anniversary which I mentioned when making reservations & I mentioned it again to our waiter but I just felt like we were an after thought of his. We noticed he paid more attention to the table of 4 than he did us. Food was yummy but I just wasn’t impressed with our service. We’ve had better at this restaurant before. Disappointed.
