   Used to love this place. Been coming for the last 9 years. We ordered a cheese pizza at the bar for our children while sitting at the bar waiting for our table. We got sat before the pizza arrived. Wait or on the restaurant side had an issue with the pizza. We could here him stomping around and berating the waitress that took out pizza order. Also the menu has not changed in the 9 years we have been coming

    In Mammoth for fishing and decided to have our Anniversary dinner here. We had the mushrooms, filet mignon, veal & banana Foster. Everything was excellent. Open Table was a very convenient way to make our reservations and receive reminders

    Their menu hasn’t changed in decades, aside from some rotating specials. But the food is great, the ambiance is really nice, and the staff takes good care of you. Been coming here for years, and it’s always a pleasure.

    I now eat here every trip to Mammoth and this is clearly my favorite restaurant in the area. My only disappointment was that the chef did not include a special this evening, which I usually order and which has always been great. The mushroom appetizer and carrot/parsnip soup were really tasty.

    Dining at Convict Lake is always a wonderful evening. The menu has a wide variety of choices and no matter what you decide on you can be sure the meal will be delicious. Service was spot on. Always our first choice to dine at when visiting Mammoth Lakes.

    Excellent! We were a party of four. We decided to do family style. We enjoyed the clay pot garlic and burgundy escargot as starters. The beef Wellington, trout, scallops, and the rack of lamb as the mains. The food was exceptional! The service was so professional and very knowledgeable. Loved it!

    La ubicacion del lugar sin duda es de pelicula, tanto por el lago como por las montañas. La decoracion del lugar es acorde y la chimenea central era muy comoda y estetica. La comida fue muy buena en general, tanto la tabla de queso brie y la ensalada de arugula, como los platos fuertes destacando la pasta al pesto y el wellington. Lo unico regular en cuanto a la comida fue el postre. El servicio fue rapido, atentos y amables. En general una excelente comida en familia.

    This is expensive restaurant. The grilled cheese was american cheese. My lamb was undercooked and when I sent it back it came back charred. The kids pasta was full of Parmesan and the pasta was not good quality. The waitress was nice but she called my son picky when he did not like his meal that was terrible They did have electricity problems but not worth the expense or the drive.
