It was our Thanksgiving dinner on a Saturday night. This was only our 6th time dining here and every experience was a 5 star wonderful evening, food is amazingly good and the service is professional fast and curious. We are counting the days until our next visit.

First time in Mammoth Lake, came on Thanksgiving and the food was absolutely delicious. They did a thanksgiving menu with three choices for each meal. My husband and I did the Argentinian crab and shrimp cake (best we’ve ever had), butternut squash soup, prime rib for him and pistachio crusted salmon with cilantro pesto (on my need to recreate list it was so good), and finished with the apple strudel. We were so stuffed by the end, as you should be on thanksgiving, and every bit we were so content. We thanked our server for being there on thanksgiving and tipped generously as well. 10/10 would recommend.

This restaurant came highly rated by a friend who used to work there. We were heading to Mammoth for the weekend and took a detour at Convict Lake and this restaurant did not disappoint! Everything about this place was fabulous!!

My husband had filet mignon and scallops, and said they were very good. Three out of the four people in our group were vegan, and while we appreciated the chef making a plate full of vegetables for each of us , it would be nice to have one dedicated vegan option available, if not on the menu. Even a pasta dish would be great. Unfortunately, the fettuccine noodles they currently serve have egg in them. We stayed at the resort, so this place was a must. Great service and charming atmosphere.

The food here is incredible. Our 4th time eating here and every time it is excellent. Our favorite restaurant for all time. We had the trout which is delicious. Cant say enough great things about this place. Not to mention the setting of Convict lake is spectacular.

The food was very good, though the pork tenderloin was slightly overdone. The salmon was perfect, and both of our dinners featured wonderful vegetables. Crème brûlée was a perfect end to our meals.

High-end dining in Mammoth area !! So thrilled to have stumbled on this fabulous location .. the presentation and quality of the baked Brie were par excellence .. filet minion was cooked to perfection and the banana foster desert prepared table-side was delicious as well .. highly recommend this wonderful restaurant with prompt and friendly service as well. Ambience was lovely too !

Excellent all the way around. Mushroom Trio to start and our server Steve recommended going easy so we could eat them with the Filet Mignon and Beef Wellington. Drinks were great as well and unfortunately we had zero room for desert. Definitely will be back again soon.

Excellent service and great meals. We had the rack of lamb which was cooked to perfection and the halibut, which was the special. Both were delicious with generous proportions for sides. Would definitely go back.

This was our first visit to the Convict Lake Resort Restaurant. My wife and I made reservations for dinner and were seated immediately. Our server was very personable and courteous. When our food came out, the plating presentation was beautiful. Both of our meals were incredible. I think what we liked the most was that it was definitely a high-end meal, but it was NOT a stuffy environment at all. Again, our server was top-notch and made it an a very pleasant experience. We definitely will be back!!

Amazing mountain like setting. Large selection of wine and food selections. Great service and staff. We has the puff escargot, salmon, she had lamblypops. Would like to get back to try several others. To achieve this level excellence in this location is nothing short of miraculous.

Honestly, while sitting at the bar I noticed several flies on the windows and was a little grossed out, then when seated for dinner I noticed several more flies landing at our table and on the window. These were not little gnats, they were house flies. At that point I was totally DONE. The service was AWESOME. The food was good. But seeing flies in both areas really bothered me, maybe they have something to keep them out of the kitchen? I really hope so. This is a nice place,

This is a five star restaurant that seemingly does not belong where it is located. However, once you have been to The Restaurant at Convict Lake, you realize it is exactly where it belongs, as the atmosphere, food, drinks, ambiance, friendly staff, and absolutely amazing food will ensure you keep coming back time after time and will bring friends and family to enjoy as well!

We celebrated our first anniversary at The Restaurant at Convict Lake and couldn't be happier to have made that choice! Kurt, our waiter, was just wonderful. The food was truly excellent. We look forward to returning again and again.
