   The Restaurant at Convict Lake is one of the few fine dining experiences in the Eastern Sierra. I’ve been many times and have never been disappointed. Our meal started with the bakes garlic & crostini and the sautéed mushrooms. The mushrooms were really exquisite. We then had salads and soup. The soup was a homemade poblano and corn chowder that had just the right amount of spice. We then had our main entrees which included the chicken, the Beef Wellington and the surf & turf. All were amazing. We finally ended the meal with their homemade berry cheesecake. I highly recommend the Restaurant!

   I've been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years. It's always great. The corn chowder soup was amazing. They always have great homemade ice cream.

   I love this restaurant… that being said, I have an issue with booking with open table. I reserved a table for our Anniversary (which you ask if we’re celebrating something) not once did anyone acknowledge our Anniversary… people who walked in right before us with no reservations got a better table. I think sometimes it might be better off going straight to the restaurant.

   Everything was delicious! Service was great! What else can I say other than always order the bananas fosters to end your experience!

   We go to this restaurant once a year when we are in town for the season opener for fishing. We love the food and the location of this fantastic restaurant. We will be going back at least once a year for years to come. I recommend this place

   Always great. Have been going here for 20 years. A hidden gyem is their homemade ice cream. The trout was excellent. They make their own fettuccini. YUMMY

   Year after year, the Restaurant at Convict Lake remains one of the high points of our trips to Mammoth. From pre-dinner cocktails to perfectly prepared and elegantly presented main courses and irresistible desserts, the meals are among our favorites of all the restaurants we visit in California. Add the outstanding service and spectacular natural setting, and it's clear why the longstanding reputation of this charming dining establishment continues to grow.
